    Thanks for the video !!!!!! 2018 Platinum with Dark Marsala seating. 70,000 miles. My only issue I've ever had on the truck is a level 1 oil leak from a hose that goes into the transmission. FORD replaced it twice already. Seriously considering doing this to my truck now. How much gain did you get in power and MPG ???

    Great video, great description of the process. What kind of mileage are you getting? Any issues?

  • @Junkawayllc

    Thanks for the video, finally a 3.0 video. As far as electrical connections under the hood any to deal with? If so did kit come with blank off connections. Also what about programming for truck to ignore EGR, is that in the tune itself?

    Having trouble with a P00BC code, running the same set up you are. I unplugged throttlebody, and EGR.. you ever have this issue or have any suggestions? Thank you

    What sensors from under the hood and the exhuast do I keep unplugged for the delete?

    Hey Chase, You inspired me ! 16 hours later, full delete 2018 3.0L Powerstoke. All 6.7 powerstoke videos I watched say to disconnect the Air Intake Throttle Valve Sensor after delete tune. Question: Did you disconnect the red clip off the throttle body or is the sensor located somewhere else? Not able to find any information regarding the ITV sensor on the 3.0L. Truck is much happier but I'm not seeing that much of a milage boost (1-2 mpg)

    Thanks man. Very helpful. I'm going to give it a shot with my 2018. I'm tired of replacing sensors on mine also (3 in the last 6 months). The emissions bullshit is such a pain in the ass. Is yours still performing good?

    Just bought a 3.0 and planning to do these deletes as well. How do you like the tuner? Also, have you noticed the advertised 5-6 mpg bump in real world situation? Thanks for the video!

    • @ChaseTyson
      @ChaseTyson  2 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Absolutely, the MPG is actually insanely better.
      Normal driving,romping on it and most definitely towing.

      Hello,
      Just curious if your truck has stayed reliable. Been reading a lot about line pressure regarding the trans. Does your tune account for trans differences with it being the 10 speed and more power/torque.
      Thanks!

    Thanks man great to finally see delete vids on the 3.0. Is it really necessary to remove the EGR cooler? Doesnt the tune shut the EGR off? I've heard thats how the 6.7 works.
    Exhaust shop did the swap huh? I might have to look around.

    • @Sokro63
      @Sokro63 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The kit instructions for Flo Pro’s EGR delete doesn’t show it needing removal so I think he just did it out of preference

    • @ChaseTyson
      @ChaseTyson  2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      i deleted it because that’s what I was told would be best to do, i would rather just do it “right” than cut any corners,there is not to many people around here with these so I could not tell you a for sure answer on leaving the egr in!

    • @KDlGG
      @KDlGG 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Shutting your EGR off isn’t exactly the best thing to do longevity wise, you’re just deadending the exhaust, it’s going to flow to the EGR naturally because that’s how its designed, shutting off the valve through a tune just adds more heat being added to your coolant

    • @huh0123
      @huh0123 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@KDlGG yes, but then you get the tune which adds more fuel which will give more power with the now better air quality and will bring the temps down. So not really a problem.

    • @KDlGG
      @KDlGG ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@huh0123 it is a problem, not if you do a proper delete, but if you just do a block off plate it is. Think of it as a highway tunnel and then all of a sudden the end of the tunnel was completely blocked off, where do the cars go? It’s an exhaust, more fuel, more heat, what’s in an EGR cooler? Coolant lines. By doing this you’re putting yourself at risk for cracking the cooler and either sending exhaust gas into your coolant (false head gasket sign) or cracking the whole cooler and sending a massive leak out. Just do the proper delete

    Ok, so I guess you deleted my comment. I'll ask again, I just want to know if you do the Lynx Tuning part before or after you remove all those parts? If you recall I told awhile back how the tune I had screwed up my truck and I had to replace the stock parts to get it running again. Not trying to annoy you just wanna do it again the right way.

      I bought a 2020 3.0 4wd with 38k miles and just rolled 92k without any major issues. Did an AC tensioner at 58k, but nothing else. Great truck. I’m curious how many mpg’s were gained from the mods. The frequency of the def regeneration is my main issue with this truck. Especially if towing any weight or running 75 mph plus on the freeways. It loves the DEF fluid under load.

    Your truck sounds terrible. It is illegal so why do it. I have the same diesel platinum truck and destroying like you did yours has ruined it. I love mine the way it is. It pulls great. It gets great mpg and it’s LEGAL!! Why butcher an already great truck. That’s just stupid.

    Gotta love when people have to make their vehicle as annoying as possible by putting a loud exhaust and drawing attention to themselves saying look at me look at my car or truck. Yup gimme the attention and when you don't they get mad

    On the EVR port coming from manifold how did you cover it. Kit look like it only come with blanks for pipe to intake.
