Great video! The level of detail that you provided gave me the confidence to tackle this project yesterday, along with changing the spark plugs and fuel filter. Thank you!
Nice video. I'm brand new to owning a boat and have the same motor. That said I've always been mechanically inclined and now that I've seen this I know I'll be doing all my own service. Thanks very much for posting!
You can do it that way. Here’s the issue I have with it. One you’ll never get all the oil out, two if you don’t remove those bolts periodically and grease them they will be prone to corrosion and be very unlikely to take off when you need to. The vacuum method is better for those that have to do it in the water that don’t have access to servicing on land.
Great video, all information and no nonsense! Appreciate you taking the time to make it and sharing it!

Why is it my vent will not screw off. I feel the hex screw in there and it has tension but will not screw out.
I always drop
A
Tarp down so when I drop
Something I can find it
What happens if you mix the drain and vent screw up....
