Say what you will about the Book of Boba Fett as a show, but the fact they expanded the Tuskens beyond "Look, they use sticks and rifles instead of blasters, that makes them bad guys". I hope we get more of these types of creatures in the future, keep up the great content!
Cool review Bossk. I was worried that the Massif would be engineered like that last creature in a two pack I can remember, which was the Correlian Hound and Keeper from Solo. The jaw falls off if you open it too far. Glad to see they designed this one a bit better for TVC.
I still feel like I’ve been stitched up with this one. Preordered the single card Tusken Warrior (single) along with some other figures on the same order. Then they announced this a few weeks later. I don’t really want/need 2 TW’s and I couldn’t cancel my first order as it would have meant cancelling the whole order. Wish they would have released this one first OR just put a generic TR in the set…
I will be picking two, one in the box, and one out the box. My son would want it in his collection so will buy at least 4. Thank you Bossk's Bounty for your review. We enjoy it.
I agree Tim the collar & chain would have made a huge diffrence it really needs it i think the chain makes it look cool like the Tuscan warrior is holding the chain back cause he wants to rip people apart! LoL I might have to use the old chain or probaly see about making my own little chain for this set!! Come on Hasbro where is the chain? 😂

I’m probably in the minority but I actually think the older looks better! Of course the new one is an upgrade in terms of articulation etc but I think they nailed the look of the original version!
Completely agree. Old one looks waaaaayyyy better.

I would have bought 3 for the Massiff if it was a generic Tusken. Maybe I can swap the head with Rey’s?!! I’d like more of these small creature sets and the perfect one would be a repacked Jabba’s palace Bubo (Saga line) on a chain with a Jawa +fan accessory - seeing as Jabba is coming out next year (PS I have an 8D8 question for next ask BB on last ABB vid.)
I only purchased the Tusken Warrior on card, cool figure!
I hope this goes on sale soon for my diorama I kind of wanted to use the massiff as space rodents

Hasbro could add special deluxe packs to tvc and call them Star Wars Bestiary and make it a series of creature specific figures: Banthas, Dewbacks, Blurgs, Jabba’s pet frog, etc. and bigger creatures like Rancors, Sarlacc Pit, and Krayt Dragons

How ever- all in all the Tusken Boba is one of the best figures ever, see it again on the Tusken family pic 😊
Really wish they had just packaged a couple of the massiff's seperate. I don't really neex more of the unique tusken.

Great video Tim can't wait to get mine I just have the carded figure and speaking about deluxe figures my landlady's son who works for target stocking shelves at night told me that his store has the TVC Boba fett ( Vintage comic Art ) version so I went there this morning and they also have PAZ VIZSLA so you know I couldn't pass that up either lol so too your followers and you target is starting to get them be on the lookout keep up the great videos my friend

I'm happy to pay deluxe prices for this one. Just wish it was a more generic Tusken instead of the female warrior. I don't love the recent trend of characters getting a deluxe AND a single carded release at around the same time. Hasbro is getting greedy.

Ah yeah cool, yeah I think they get dispatched tomorrow from SAF too.
I ordered one purely because I badly want a new Massiff and the carded Tusken seems to be in high demand but the price really is disgusting for how little you get in this set. And ankle joints would have made a world of diffence to the amount of poses you can put the Massiff in. Really it's not much better than the Corellian Hound from the Solo 5POA line, and that set was less than half the RRP AND came with a cage to put the hound in. Honestly I kind of hate myself for giving Hasbro what they ask for with this one

Hi Tim. I watched this video last night on my TV so I wasn't able to add my comments until now. Did you know that the harness from the original 2002 Massiff was originally designed to be of Geonosian make? The Art Of Star Wars Episode II Attack Of The Clones concept has the Massiff as originally a Geonosian creature that would have been used to hunt down Obi-Wan. When this sequence was no longer needed they switched the Massiff to Tatooine. Thanks for the great channel!
Thats right and you can buy a Geonsian with Massiff in the same packaging as the Tusken and Massiff. Cool man!
I absolutely hate how easily all these limbs and heads of all these TVC figures can come off.
I don’t think it’s worth the price due to one simple thing the tusken warrior has the Y crotch and not the T crotch makes it not valuable ..to me old school same thing was done to the Han Solo for the price it’s a rip off !!
