They really should've given both head sculpts in the sdcc one for the price that it was meesa thinks.
I gave in and ended up with both... Now I am of an opinion that this is quite low of hasbro where they could have included an alternate head to an already overpriced "deluxe" figure.
Could have, but the SDCC version with the comic accessories can be your comic version.
Expression on the closed mouth one proper reminds me of Chewbacca’s family from the infamous 1978 Star Wars Holiday Special…😂
The SDCC included additional accessories not found in the deluxe set. The SDCC has the exclusive Bowcaster, Blaster w/effect, and 2 swords. The Black Wash on the Deluxe version is not in the promotional photos so they must have added it last minute.
I like them both, but I prefer the standard version. His expression reminds me of and angry Shih Tzu dog
I really like the look of these boxes, but not the price - and personally I could do without all the little accessories which I just consider plastic junk. Nice comparison though. The SDCC head looks better for action poses but generally I go for neutral expressions for versatility (and no way I'd buy both). Cheers.
Another difference is the SDCC version comes with two knives.

Have both of these. Both are winners either way. Great versions of one of my favorite characters. I will be getting the black series and despite its flaws have the comic book version too.
I hope they can reutilize this sculpt for a couple wookiees during ROTS 20th anniverssary! A Tarful, or even a 4 pack of warriors would be welcome.

The new one definitely has more wash on the shoulder armour, can see that immediately.

I hope the Black Krrsantan body is retooled for a new Wookiee Warrior as the last time hasbro made or release one was back in 2008 in the 30th anniversary force unleashed 5 pack which included two of the Wookiee warriors, two stormtroopers, and a darth Vader figure.
And I also love the new Stormtrooper version From Asoka Those look terrific can't wait for them to come to the TVC line!!
You forgot about the swords included with the SDCC version.
In your next Sunday video and you please put a VC Chewbacca next to these Krrstatans please?

Hey Bossk. Always a great episode! QFNW: why do you think all the deluxe packs have been new media? Is it because they can make the tooling cost back easier?
I feel OT deluxe figures would sell. Maybe a snow trooper with e-web blaster from TESB. Then release the trooper on a card later.

Yeah, the gold on the regular release looks definitely better, and I prefer the more neutral facial expression, so it's an easy choice for me.
Very disappointing exclusive especially for a once yearly release.
I can see where they were going with it. They chose the 2022 March Madness winner to do a exclusive version of. Seems like they are listening to fans.
There is no way they would not have made Krrsantan regardless of the March Madness result.
@@BossksBounty Referencing specifically why they choose Krrsantan for a SDCC version. We could chalk it to chance, except at SDCC they pipelined both the TVC and TBS 2023 March Madness winners.
@@HK-47Resurrected I wasn’t aware of a Black Series MM. I suspect the reason they chose Krrsantan as the SDCC exclusive was because it was easy to do and a big character in TBOBF. TVC fans have been asking for him since he debuts in the show.

Yeah… Shame though. Krrsantan deserves a decent cardback
i'll be waiting for this to go on clearance, these deluxe boxes keep doing it and i feel bad a few weeks later.
But if somehow i miss out.. i'll be ok very disapointed with deluxe figures as a whole, even waiting on sabine at the moment i am very unsure if i'll get her before the price lowers, that helmet is just too much.
and i gotta admit i'm not loving Ahsoka, its just average. (Which is still above average for starwars content bar andor)
Great video I do like the standard Deluxe version with the weathered armor I think it looks much better
