  • In this episode Travis introduces this beautiful 1974 Cabover Freightliner that the customer found in a barn and is having some upgrades done in order to pull their 53-foot race car trailer.     The air ride was a dealer option add-on.

    That rear air ride set up is called SUP:ER RIDE and was popular in late seventies. Was an add on. mfg in either Stockton or Fresno, California.

    That is an Accuride conversion. I have seen them before. They work on Reyco tandem drive spring also.

    Do you happen to have the battery box cover? I wonder if they’d like to sell it as I need one for my freightliner cabover

      When the truck was dropped off to us it did not have the battery box cover on it, but I will ask the owners if they have it still and would want to sell it.
