I live in Hong Kong and these are sold all over the place and are extremely popular.. Try adding tapioca flour into your flour as it holds together easier and keep it really light.
Hi Matt! I've had a bubble waffle maker for a few months now, never used it. I found your video and I just had to try the recipe. They turned out awesome! Greetings from Romania!
I have always loved Belgian waffles and bought a machine that makes them that does the similar flip style like this. I have never heard of this bubble type that's growing it sounds but wow it seems like it would be great. That machine definitely looks easy to use and isn't that large. I love the fact they can be broken up and chosen to amount per user. I am sure just my 4 kids would love this! Thanks for the vid Matt!
You are so very welcome!! Yeah I love my normal Belgian waffle maker too. It is a restaurant style one that flips over, I have used it a ton over the years. These are so cool just because they look so cool broken up and are super fun to eat. I bet your kids will love it too! :)
Hello, I haven't tried normal waffle mix with the bubble waffle iron before I always make the mix from scratch. I don't see it being a problem. Any brand will should be fine.
Hola caballero me ha gustado mucho su receta,, sería tan amable de mandarme la receta en Español,, para poder hacerlo a mis hijos,,, gracias un saludo desde España 🇪🇦😘😘😘
Hi thank you! Sorry, I don't have it in Spanish. Here is the link to the written recipe. www.inthekitchenwithmatt.com/bubble-waffles if you open it up in Google, it may be able to translate it for you.
Matt, what I do is put my plate against the cooked waffle while still in the maker, then while holding the plate against it, flip the waffle maker so that the waffle flops onto the plate. Then they don't break. 😁
For sure, Alyssa! If you break them up into the little eggs, it is great portion control too! haha, plus it is just plain fun to pop them in your mouth.
If you are on a computer scroll down beneath the video it is right there. If you are watching on a mobile, you will need to press the little triangle in the lower right corner under the video that will reveal the description box on your mobile device.
Hi Matt! This looks delicious.. contemplating whether to buy a waffle maker or not, trying to avoid single use kitchen gadgets🤦🏻♀️but these look sooo🤤🤗
Thank you!! Yeah the single use gadgets can pile up quickly. :) If you will make them all the time, then probably worth it. But if you only think you will use it a couple times a year, maybe not.
Same as other waffles, should be eaten within a few hours of making it for best taste. Otherwise store them in the fridge for a few days, or freeze them for a few months. Reheat them in the air fryer or oven.
Hey Kadaj! I did a live stream today and held a raffle and picked someone from the comments on this video to win, and you won!! The prize is my ebook called "All Things Chocolate" If you would like it just reply to this comment with your email and I will send it to you. Or email me at matt@inthekitchenwithmatt.com congrats!!!
Looks like cake pops. To the viewers: if you still have a cake pop making tray from like 7years ago when that was a craze, you can make these without needing to order a new machine.
Yes they do! They will come out a bit different in a cake pop tray, they won't have the same crispiness you get from a specific waffle iron, but yeah it should still work!
Heya, Nakedface! Not so sure this is a keeper, Seems a little over the top. I would make them for my granddaughter, though. She would think I am way cool.
they do look really cool like this www.225batonrouge.com/food-drink/snack-break-bubble-waffles-arrived-bubble-waffle-tea it's neat because you can use them as waffle cones! haha
Muchas gracias x la receta me encantó la idea de servirlos en bonitas en un tazón

Awesome! I will definitely do that next time, I have Tapioca flour leftover, from the last time I made my Brazilian Cheese bread.
