Hi! I really want to use PixelOS on my Redmi Note 10 Pro but Is there really no cons? I heard something about slow charging, have you experienced it sir?
Yes fast charging is an issue with most custom roms and pixelos as well and because the updates keep coming, fast charging might work with some versions but it might not work with others..
@@techdocyoutube That would have perfect if it was working well! I tried to search and kinda find a solution for that. Could we try Fast Charge Module in Magisk if you have root and time to do please? :))
You can do it by rooting the device and flashing the magisk module but your banking apps won't work when your phone is rooted, then you need to flash a couple of extra modules to make banking apps work, it's a long process and just to enable a single feature like fast charging, it's not worth spending that much time..
It's different for redmi note 10 because you need to flash vendor_boot and the boot file before flashing the recovery. Once you flash the recovery, format the data, flash the rom followed by firmware and reboot to system

Thank you 😊 Sideloading is just a simple way to flash the custom rom on your device if you have access to your pc, you simply use the sideload command and the rom is going to be flashed on your device.. Can you suggest a rom for redmi note 10 pro, which can be recommended for normal user, who wants great battery backup, camera quality, and overall balance performance. Although I am enjoying pixel os from last year but I am not satisfied with the battery backup and heating issue. Waiting for your response.....
Yeah the battery backup is almost always better with miui.. I tried only 2-3 custom roms recently, pixelos is good with an average battery backup (you can wait for the update if you're facing a heating issue) I tried project elixir, battery backup is almost the same as pixelos but I did not face any heating issue Then there was sparkos but it's still on android 13, it had a great battery backup. You get miui camera with all three custom roms..
You can use banking apps normally - and it's safe but it really depends on how much you trust custom roms. You can read a little bit about it, you will have a better idea.
Mine is MIUI 12.5.9. I have added my account last Friday at noon and it was successfully added. And today is Friday noon. As my calculations 168 hours will be complete in next 2 hours. But my question is should i wait further and try tomorrow or should i do it now. Like after precisely 168 hours later? Your reply helps 😢
Well I installed it today!! Liking it so far. But the auto brightness is kinda finicky for the moment and I have doubts about the loudness of the speakers. Rest is fine.
If you’ve followed all the steps correctly, it should not be an issue. Give it some time, use it for a week and then see if the battery issue is still there .. if yes, you might need to update or downgrade the rom. Or you can also try flashing a rom other than pixelos..
No.. because you already have a custom recovery on your phone, you can follow any one of the two methods. 1. Clean flash (will delete the internal storage) Reboot your phone to recovery Flash the new rom Format data and reboot the phone 2. Dirty flash Reboot your phone to recovery Flash the rom Clear cache / dalvik Reboot the Phone These are the basic steps you can follow but you also need to check the official website of the custom rom that you want to flash because there might be some additional steps you need to follow..
You can follow any one of the two methods, either clean flash which will format the data or the dirty flash which will not delete the data, it will just clear the cache.
@@techdocyoutube ok thank you, can you tell me the command to clean flash? I'm a beginner and I don't have TWRP. I want to change from pixel experience to evolutionx/PixelOS
Hello @techdocyoutube, I am from Pakistan, and I currently own a Note 10 Pro device. I am getting tired of MIUI, and since I also have a Pixel 6 Pro, I prefer its UI. Therefore, I am considering installing Pixel OS on my Note 10 Pro. However, I am concerned about some tax-related issues here in Pakistan. I want to make sure that if I install Pixel OS, my phone will not be blocked by the Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA) due to IMEI approval. My phone is currently PTA-approved. My second question is, if I go ahead and install Pixel OS and then encounter any issues, will I be able to revert back to the original MIUI and its official version? Lastly, regarding updates for Pixel OS, will I need to go through the entire installation process again for updates, and will this cause all my data to be deleted?
Hello Humza.. I won’t be able to answer your first question regarding PTA approval because I have no idea about that. Your second question - yes you can revert back to MIUI at any time, either flash the default rom via custom recovery or simply use mi flash tool Third question - nowadays most custom rom developers recommend using their own recovery like for pixelos, there’s pixel recovery and that’s going to help you update the rom just like you update any default os. But afaik, custom rom updates are not like the default os ones where you get small incremental updates. When you update any rom, in this case pixelos, you will receive updates that are bigger in size (you have to download the whole custom rom) but you will be able to update it normally without losing the data..
It depends. There are custom roms for some mediatek devices but not all. You can always check the official xda page to get an info about the development.. just search your device name + xda on Google and you will see if there's any development for your device. Now I don't do a lot of gaming but crdroid is a good one

Hi bro..It's like any other android operating system, and you are already trusting miui which has so many shady trackers/permissions. Pixelos is a very popular operating system and it's safe to use, and it's not developed by anonymous people, the developers provide most of their details on the website. You can use banking apps but I have recently seen that some versions of pixelos have issues with banking apps. If you don't trust custom roms, you can remove the bloatware from your phone and continue using miui..

Hello sir, I have installed the Pixel OS rom on Redmi note 8. Everything seems to work fine except I am not able to reboot into recovery. Whenever I try to do so, the system gets stuck at the Redmi logo on startup and I have to restart system using power button. It seems like the pixel OS recovery got installed temporary. I have tried many ways to flash TWRP recovery to fix the issue. But all in vain! if you or anyone know how to fix it, kindly help. Thanks.
Hi.. I just saw the instructions on pixelos website and for a clean flash, you need to use twrp recovery and it’s provided on the website. If possible, I would recommend flashing everything again but this time use twrp that’s provided on the website and follow these steps. 1. Download one copy of twrp on your pc and the other on your phone’s external storage (SD card) 2. Boot your phone into fastboot mode, connect it to your pc, flash twrp and reboot to twrp 3. When the phone is booted to twrp, flash the twrp recovery again that you saved on your phone’s external storage Install > install image > select recovery option > flash twrp that’s on your phone’s external storage Basically, you have to flash the twrp recovery two times, first using your pc through command prompt and then using your phone. Then you can continue with other steps ..

I've never unlocked a bootloader on a samsung device but if the custom rom is available for f62, it means there's a way to unlock the bootloader as well. If you can check this xda discussion, you will get a slight idea xdaforums.com/t/unlock-bootloader-and-root-samsung-f62.4259819/
I don’t think you can do it on redmi 10 prime because it’s not available for your device. I don’t see any custom roms for your phone, it’s because of the MediaTek processor..
It’s for some devices but not all. And the reason for flashing it is because of the device kernel - sometimes the developers recommend flashing the firmware just to update the kernel..
As far as I know, it's to update the kernel because some custom roms have older kernels and flashing the firmware will return it to stock, then flashing the rom will allow it to use whatever kernel they have included..
Hi Techdoc, can you please confirm which firmware file to download? We have a recovery file as well as a fastboot file on the redmi note 10 pro (global portal). Would appreciate your quick response so I can start flashing the Pixel OS ROM. Yes fast charging is an issue with most custom roms and pixelos as well and because the updates keep coming, fast charging might work with some versions but it might not work with others..
@@techdocyoutube Thanks! But I couldn't understand if you have the exact turbo charge problem or not? 🙃🙃
My Redmi Note 10 Pro Model is: M2101K6P
I have the same model, it's charging slowly with pixelos..
You're using Redmi Note 10 Pro and I've Redmi Note 10, Should I followed the same steps or something is change for me?
It's different for redmi note 10 because you need to flash vendor_boot and the boot file before flashing the recovery. Once you flash the recovery, format the data, flash the rom followed by firmware and reboot to system
@@techdocyoutubeWhy is there a specified order for flashing the files on different mobiles?

Installed PixelOS successfully on my redmi note 9 pro. But MIUI camera app is not pre-installed in the pixelos android 14 package...How do I install MIUI camera ?
It’s a very long process and you have to root your phone.. you can wait for the next update and they might add miui camera
Hi! Great video. Do you know if for poco F3 the process is the same? (it seems that I have to run a file vendor_boot and a file boot)
Thank you!!
Yes you need to flash both vendor_boot & the boot file first. You can simply use the command prompt to do that.. Let me know if you need any help..
@@techdocyoutube Hi! Nice video! I'm new in flashing rom, I have a Poco F3, and after flash vendor_boot & the boot file, I tried boot at recovery but it was stuck on the Poco logo. Please help. Thanks in advance
Very good explaining,
May I know what is side load Package?
Thank you 😊
Sideloading is just a simple way to flash the custom rom on your device if you have access to your pc, you simply use the sideload command and the rom is going to be flashed on your device..
You can also flash the rom through a custom recovery but that will require you to transfer the custom rom file to your device and if things go wrong, you will have to start from the beginning again..
Hey man btw I installed this and there's 2 camera apps, I just wanted to know which are those? (like Realme, Google?)
Heyy.. 2 cameras? Yeah i have seen it with some custom roms? But it should be okay, try to disable one of them (the basic one)

I tried only 2-3 custom roms recently, pixelos is good with an average battery backup (you can wait for the update if you're facing a heating issue)
I tried project elixir, battery backup is almost the same as pixelos but I did not face any heating issue
Then there was sparkos but it's still on android 13, it had a great battery backup.
You get miui camera with all three custom roms..
using redmi note 10 pro you downloaded sewtin firmware but device is sweet
why?
Hello, nice video! Can mobile communications stop working and imei disappear after flashing pixelOS?
Nope..
Nothing should happen if you follow all the steps properly..
Do UPI and banking apps work after this and are they safe to use?
You can use banking apps normally - and it's safe but it really depends on how much you trust custom roms. You can read a little bit about it, you will have a better idea.
After flashing custom rom is safe to use phonepe gpay please reply bro
Yes.. if you are using the official custom roms, it’s should be safe..

yes you might find some small bugs here and there, but overall it should be a good experience 😊
I installed it successfully! Everything works but i have a problem. My battery drains so fast when i have my phone data on. Please help me.
If you’ve followed all the steps correctly, it should not be an issue. Give it some time, use it for a week and then see if the battery issue is still there .. if yes, you might need to update or downgrade the rom. Or you can also try flashing a rom other than pixelos..
@@techdocyoutubethanks! But it only happens when i have my cellular data on .. i have it for 1 week now and and it isn't fixed
Hey bro, i want to ask, if I'm already in a custom rom, and i want to change to another custom rom, are the tutorial steps the same?
No.. because you already have a custom recovery on your phone, you can follow any one of the two methods.
1. Clean flash (will delete the internal storage)
Reboot your phone to recovery
Flash the new rom
Format data and reboot the phone
2. Dirty flash
Reboot your phone to recovery
Flash the rom
Clear cache / dalvik
Reboot the Phone
These are the basic steps you can follow but you also need to check the official website of the custom rom that you want to flash because there might be some additional steps you need to follow..
@@techdocyoutubeThank you, but I thought you already formatted the data in the video? Or is it different?
@@techdocyoutubeI'm confused bro, did you already format data in the video or is it different? Please help me, thank you
You can follow any one of the two methods, either clean flash which will format the data or the dirty flash which will not delete the data, it will just clear the cache.
@@techdocyoutube ok thank you, can you tell me the command to clean flash? I'm a beginner and I don't have TWRP. I want to change from pixel experience to evolutionx/PixelOS
Hello @techdocyoutube,
I am from Pakistan, and I currently own a Note 10 Pro device.
Lastly, regarding updates for Pixel OS, will I need to go through the entire installation process again for updates, and will this cause all my data to be deleted?
regarding reverting your os, afaik you can change into any os including miui via dirty flash and none of you data will be wiped
Hello Humza.. I won’t be able to answer your first question regarding PTA approval because I have no idea about that. Your second question - yes you can revert back to MIUI at any time, either flash the default rom via custom recovery or simply use mi flash tool
Third question - nowadays most custom rom developers recommend using their own recovery like for pixelos, there’s pixel recovery and that’s going to help you update the rom just like you update any default os. But afaik, custom rom updates are not like the default os ones where you get small incremental updates. When you update any rom, in this case pixelos, you will receive updates that are bigger in size (you have to download the whole custom rom) but you will be able to update it normally without losing the data..

You can also go back to miui or hyperos using mi flash tool..

1. Download one copy of twrp on your pc and the other on your phone’s external storage (SD card)
2. Boot your phone into fastboot mode, connect it to your pc, flash twrp and reboot to twrp
3. When the phone is booted to twrp, flash the twrp recovery again that you saved on your phone’s external storage
Install > install image > select recovery option > flash twrp that’s on your phone’s external storage
Basically, you have to flash the twrp recovery two times, first using your pc through command prompt and then using your phone.
Then you can continue with other steps ..

Why we need to flash miui 14 first??
It’s for some devices but not all. And the reason for flashing it is because of the device kernel - sometimes the developers recommend flashing the firmware just to update the kernel..
Why do we need to flash miui 14 firmware
As far as I know, it's to update the kernel because some custom roms have older kernels and flashing the firmware will return it to stock, then flashing the rom will allow it to use whatever kernel they have included..
