I love ..love..You 🦋 You are an Amazing Teacher!! Love your soothing voice !! Going to try a Blanket as well!! Going to do the scarf and hat !! Love all your videos..keep them coming🥰🥰 You always explain your patterns so well and make doing your patterns so very easy!!! Thank You🥰🦋🧶
I love your tutorials. You make them fun and easy to follow. I love your personality and how you joke around to help your viewer's relax. My daughter thinks you're hilarious. Especially when you say...breath..remember oxygen is your friend. 😄😄
Love your tutorials. You don’t teach to slow are too fast, but just right. You also will take something apart to reshow how to do it if you don’t think the viewer understands. YEAH!!!!! I also have shown my grandsons that it’s ok for boys to do crafts. After all some of the best seamstress or tailors are men, so why not crafters. Thank you again for being the best teacher in crochet ever, next to my grandmother 😊.
I must have watched over 15 tutorials and yours was THE BEST!!! Thank you so much!!! I finally understand how to to do the waffle stitch. You explain everything so calmly and clearly 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you for your lovely tutorial. You take time to show and explain which helps the most; esp to the beginners. You show tremendous patience and care so the stitch would come out perfect! Thank you so much! 🌷
Simply beautiful! And soo easy! I was scared I would'nt be able to do it! Not only did I do it, but I was able to turn it into a gift for my mom! She simply adores her new throw!
A very simple explanation which we can understand very easily. It looks complicated but very very simple .I am going to make something with this design for my grand daughter
Thanks again for your tutorial. I have learned so much from your tutorials. You made me laugh when you said you make them too tight at times... I do the same. LOL 😂🧶🪡 Your crochet pal, JLow 🥰⚘️
love love love your method of tutorials..you go slow enough for even a newbie to pick up the design and you make it interesting with whatever knowledge of the stitch you share with us... thank you soo soo much and looking forward to more of your tutorials..
Lovely pattern. After 50+ years of crocheting and knitting I still get intimidated by trying new patterns. You make it so easy to follow along with your tutorials to learn a stitch. Thank you Fiber Spider for being such a good teacher. Love your tutorials.👍❤
I just completed two of your hats using the waffle stitch! Woo-hoo! Now I can make scarves to match! Thank you, you have made this so easy to follow! Have a wonderful day and stay safe!
Every tutorial you present, I enjoy very much. Your step-by-step instructions are not only clear but also give total number of sts used in a round/row and that's important. Even for such a seasoned crocheter as I am I think, I learn a lot from your presentations. Alpine and Waffle sts are the most unisex patterns and I love texture as well your Celtic one, your cabling beanies as my friends adore them. Would be great if you could include kids /small adult sizes too or for the whole family? I like your waffle shawl tutorial too, something different and enjoyable. I think this one will be my next project. I find your tutorials easy to follow. Thank you so much!
I'm so grateful to you. I've tried watching other tutorials and gotten so stressed. You make instruction an art form. You give confidence when it feels it's been lost. God bless you. 🙌
Once again, thank you, thank you! I've tried this stitch before with little success. Your directions are always clear and pertinent. I've made a scarf with this stitch and will use it again for a baby afghan. I love it!
You are wonderful Fiber Spider! I couldn't crochet without your guidance.....you have taught me a lot of stitches that I never dreamed that I could do!!
I love this tutorial!!! Best instructions!! Love :"I have a death grip on the end chain 3". And "I just need some syrup!" Thanks for being so patient and thorough!!
I have made a lot of your hats and I am so excited to see this tutorial on the scarf to match the hat I just finished, you are by far the best in explaining everything so smooth and that makes me so glad I found your tutorials and of course I subscribed to your channel, thank you so much.
Thank you so much. This is the third tutorial ive tried for waffle stitch and you are the only one to stop and explain it. I also like the speed that you crochet at, not too fast or too slow. Thanks again. 👍😃 hope you are having a great 2020 so far! ❤
I just love the way you make it look so simple. Thank You, I will be starting a blanket with this stitch and will be looking your video when I get started.
Finally! I got it after trying and crying all day. I knew that I could do it with your help. Realized that my stitch count was off. Thank you so much for the tutorials. I just finished my first virus blanket courtesy of your tutorial. My confidence in my abilities is at an all time high!
I’ve watched a few tutorials about this pattern. Two from other countries, one from USA and yours from here also. I’ve crocheted for years but have been away from it for a long while. My husbands grandmother taught me, a righty, and she a lefty. It is a great memory. I will tell you that your pattern made the most sense and went along with her way of teaching. The others were too loose, or too tight and also had a lackadaisical attitude about the work and it showed. Yours looks like a true waffle and is just beautiful. I can’t wait to get some yarn and begin again. I’m thinking of some homemade Christmas gifts this year and who wouldn’t want a few dish clothes or a blanket as a gift? Thanks for your help at finding just the right video and beautiful work to help me get started again. One thing Grandmother did teach me that I saw you did differently was the way you held your crochet needle. She always said to hold it like a spoon and it wouldn’t make your hand so tired. Just a suggestion from a very sweet and wise woman, but to each their own. God bless
Yes. You do pick great yarn. I can keep up with you with this stitch. I really love this stitch but I couldn't. Do it at all. So thank you so much. 😍😍😍😍😍💖💕💓👍
I have been crocheting for years & years. I have tried to do the FPDC. Unfortunately any pattern I looked at contained both the FPDC & BPDC. Everything I tried looked terrible. I'm a perfectionist & get very frustrated when I can't do something perfect. I have avoided any pattern with FPDC OR BPDC. I have always admired the waffle stitch but it really intimidated me. You make this look so easy & are so encouraging to those of us that watch your videos. Thank you so much for this tutorial. This may very well be my new favorite stitch/pattern. I have many, many LARGE plastic tubes of yarn. My daughter-in-law told me I was a hoarder & needed to see a therapist! I also live in a retirement community. I think there are a lot of people here that might appreciate a lapghan, shawl, throw or even a wash cloth. After all, charity begins at home & what better place for me to start. Thanks again.
I am SO glad that I found your videos! I began with the virus stitch videos and messed up SO many times but NOT because of you but because of my miscounting (even though I thought that I was keeping good track of my stitches.) You are super easy to follow along with and listen to. I also appreciate that you are talking your way through all of the stitches. I have been crocheting for over 25 years and have never learned many of the terms. I always learned just the stitches through watching and doing. I finally feel like I can say that “I crochet” before it was “just messing around”, if that makes sense. Also, I love the stories videos. I homeschool pulling most of my resources and approaches from Waldorf and those fit right into what we do especially for our youngest daughter.
Sounds like a win-win then, woo hoo, lol! I always go by the 3 E's - to Enlighten, to Educate, and to Entertain. Happy to be of help and of service 😊🕷☕
Thank you for making the video. I was able to use your tutorial to make a cowl/infinity scarf. It can also be used as an ear warmer. Thank you so much! I would like to create next a hat using your Waffle Stitch Hat Crochet Tutorial . Kindly regards, Tiffany
This is a hard stitch to learn for some reason. You are my third tutorial and I got it. Thanks!! I am making play food for my granddaughter. Burgers, pizza, bacon and eggs etc. I needed to make a waffle haha. Now on to butter.
I wasn't to keen on my cakes or madala. And I'd left them sitting there, collecting dust. However last week I tried the waffle stitch and although I liked it ,what I used , had no drape. Then I saw this tutorial. Perfect !!👍👍I had just what was needed.😘 This Mandala yarns not so bad after all 😀💜 Thankyou again. I'm hooking a waffle now xx
To my favorite Arachnoid....Great!!! Thanks... I needed something for my Doctor who is retiring next month. Going to ise a Caron one pound in maroon with a 6.5 mm hook. Going to add long fringe to finish it off!!!! Great tutorial as always. Love you.
I always put a stitch marker in the top of a turning chain/ ending stitch to make it easier to figure out exactly where it is when you get back to it. P.S. thank you for doing this one now. I've got 13 Caron cakes in fairie cake that I plan a king size blanket with this stitch. LOVED how you were quick to give us the multiple!!!!
Great idea about the stitch marker! Btw, I tried letting you know before, you won the $25 Amazon Gift Card! I picked your entry for my giveaway, congratulations to you! I just need your email address. If you will give it to me either here or through my facebook page I will email you your prize 😉
wow, now i understand how to do this one and can't wait to start this one soon after i finish pineapple throws..soo excited to learn different pattern stitch. thank you so much !
Thank you I’m a new subscriber love you Video I made the hat but if I wanted to make it smaller how many stitches do I start with thanks for your attention keep up the great work 👍🏻🌹
Hello dear Mr Fibre, I appreciate your tutorial style, you are an encouraging and calming teacher. Do you think the wafflew ould work as a bed throw in 'Bernat handcrafter' cotton (states on yarn label '4' weight but feels lighter too me?) Crochet hugs from England 🤗
I love your tutorials! I'm using this pattern to make blankets for my grandchildren for Christmas. Do you have any suggestions for finishing? I was thinking of single crochet around. Maybe no finishing is necessary.
Okay I have to say this. It is very sunny where my computer is and I find it difficult to see the video when your yarn is dark and the background is also dark. Any chances of when working with dark yarn having a light background and with light yarn using a dark background. Thank you for letting me vent.
HOW MANY CHAINS FOR A WAFFLE STITCHES BLANKET FOR A AFGAN ? AND HOW MANY SKEINS WOULD I NEED ? I WANT TO USE REDHEART 4 PLY YARN ...TYIA HAVE A NICE DAY❤❤
It's been so long since you posted this video that you may not see this. I love your videos. This time you made a little mistake telling us the mulitple. You said 3 plus two and you settled on 18 then added 2 and went with 24.
It's very odd I click on your video because I picked out the exact same yarn (mandala) and couldn't find a scarf pattern I wanted to make my uncle now I will know exactly what its going to look like and I like it thank you
I love ..love..You 🦋 You are an Amazing Teacher!! Love your soothing voice !!
Going to try a Blanket as well!!
Going to do the scarf and hat !!

Fiber can you do a tutorial on waffle stitch fingerless gloves please
Not sure if you are still responding to this video, but if you do, can you tell me how many rows I need for 32”? I have 89 stitches on each row.
Just curious if you’d to a tutorial for “granny on the ridge” which looks to me like a granny style waffle stitch?
Nice

I love this tutorial. But why is your screen so small?

I made one that was waffle on both sides
💖🌹👌😍
