How is this testimony relevant to the claims against Willis or Wade?
It's relevant because Mr. Bradley texted defense attorney Merchant with possible incriminating evidence on Wade and Willis, probably because he was bitter over being fired for sexual assault allegations. Client-Attorney Privilege went out the window because it appears Bradley was caught lying, and Prosecutor Anna Cross exposed his bias and credibility in order to neutralize the damage his text messages caused.
Lawyer was trying to discredit Bradley. When Bradley was helping them by claiming Attorney Client Privilege. Bradley said nothing that would of hurt Wade. Now Bradley will be question by the judge. As the door open when Bradley said they are friends and the real reason why he was forced to leave the law firm.
The State is trying to undercut the character of Mr. Bradley so any evidence he provides against Willis and Wade will be less credible.

Bradley's claim of having privilege under section 1.6 is improper since he was not seeking counsel at the time. Private conversations outside of legal advice are not privileged communications.

I still have honor for this man. He is having a change of heart for spilling the beans on a former friend but the purpose of the courts was a for the truth to come out.
