For Nimue’s playstyle, I think her being a defender that uses Mondo would make a lot of sense. It would A) explain Taion’s use of the Mondo in a bunch of cutscenes as a shield as something he learned from Nimue and B) round out these extra heroes, with one of each role. It would also be really nice to have an actually good class that uses the Mondo because they’re such a cool idea for a weapon but Tactician is so bad.
Maybe her weapon is actually a wand/baton she uses to control the Mondo since Taion's weapon is portrayed as the arm gauntlet thing he uses and not the Mondo specifically?
I 100% expect additional heroes even beyond the DLC characters. Whether in a free update (like the Torna blades) or with a DLC mode (like challenge mode), I'm sure there will be more to come.
Things I want to see added. - ino - Noah and Mio moebius outfits - Mwamba as we need a sharpshooter class. We haven't had a sharpshooter and he was one so... - poppi to he usable in New game + - More on what happened to shulk and Rex. DLC expanded story. Or more on what happened to Noah and Mio? Either or. - Cameo bosses in challenges. Fight uniqe bosses like Shulk or Rex or Elma. Or for even more out of this world ideas Zanza and Malos. Or Jin and Laura. - More unique accessories since all we got was an Eyepatch and Monado. Unless I missed some. - Zelda cross over? Unique hero Link? Ok that's a stretch. A Master sword and shield accessories for Lost Vanguard and guardian commander?
Unfortunately, I doubt we'll be getting Poppi as a hero, only because Ino is the Poppi of this game and we also have Soulhacker. Ino has a customizable class as well as Inoswap, and in the cutscene shown during the direct we see her drinking an ether canister, so she's likely going to fill the role that Poppi did with ether as a resource for upgrading her. I do think we'll end up seeing more of Poppi in the DLC story though. That almost feels like a given. We may even see the promise Poppi made with Mythra come to fruition.
You can already see Mwamba's icon in NG+ if you open the Characters menu. Also, both Nimue and Joran have Healer classes in the files, and they share chain orders with Taion and Lanz respectively. Nimue also has 40 TP, the same as Isurd. However, I think they represent cut content for e.g. a flashback sequence.
Another (maybe) reason I could see them adding Mwamba as a hero is that in a completed save file, you can see his equipped items like the other heroes. This may relate to some NG+ stuff, but my initial impression was that he would be DLC/future update material. Joran as a hero makes as much sense as getting Torna as blades in XC2, so I could see that happening. I would love to see more of Nimue--The Lost Colony definitely felt both highly detailed for a hero quest and underutilized, so I hope we get more content there.
This is a bit unrelated to the idea of cut heroes, but if you look at the Dummy picture for the chain orders, you might notice that the silhouette of Noah actually has the gauntlet from Unlimited Sword on. It makes me wonder if they originally planned to give him a special chain order when Lucky Seven was in use.
the actuall animation is still there , so i think there just wasnt a need. Interestingly , his hair looks slightly diffrent in that silhouette , perhaps something for DLC.
It is worth noting that Mwamba is part of a Colony 9 side quest, effectively letting them know that he's alive, and saying that he plans on visiting them. If he is going to be a cannon Free Update Hero, this quest will need to be a prerequisite. Of course, IIRC this quest isn't unlocked until AFTER Zeon's Ascension Quest, so YMMV.
I’ll just point out that Taion’s weapon in the hero gallery is listed as Spell tags: Mondo. It seems really weird to list them as a subtype of spell tag rather than just mondo of there isn’t going to be another spell tag user. Like Nimue would be.
The art of the 3 Blades in the ground together is such a delicious tease i'll be quite bummed out if there is no actual payoff beyond it just being cool looking art for the Expansion Pass lol
The "Xenoblade Note vol. 6" article on the Japanese Nintendo website specifically states that the three swords in the expansion pass artwork will mean something for the story. It's not just there to look cool luckily. "Please look forward to what the "1" Monad, the "2" Holy Grail Sword, and Noah's Blade mean." Not sure if I can post a link to it without this comment getting taken down unfortunately.
@@Touma_S I've seen a lot of arguments from people who want a founders story, and people who want an epilogue. I think the story being about the founders depends on if those statues of Shulk and Rex are actually the Shulk and Rex we know and love, and not just references like Vandham, Yew, Zuo, and Aizel. The cover art also includes Lucky 7 sheathed in Noah's blade alongside the Monado Rex+ and Pyra's Aegis sword. The red sheath only existed with Main character Noah and no previous versions of Noah used this blade. If it was going to be about the founders and the city I feel like they would have put some hints to it in the cover art like what they did for Xb2's expansion pass, which had the emblem of torna with the Tornan capital in the background. I feel like it has to be something else, but the possibility is still on the table.
@@justarandomperson3700 You mentioned some of them but there's just endless amounts of evidence that 1, the founders aren't real characters, rather just references, and 2, even if they wanted to do a prequel the logistics with the way the world and story is set up just don't work plus the ending pretty much constantly mentioning how they'll meet again, with the literal last bit of dialogue in the game alluding to that as well
@@Just_Red_ I agree. There's way too much foreshadowing that points towards the two worlds meeting again (Nia literally quotes Alvis in the final cutscene with the "walk hand in hand again" line). The question that I have is how will they be able to meet each other again. The game talks about the founders only one time in the main story from what I recall and aren't relevant to the story in the same way Torna and the Aegis war were in xb2. There's no reason for me to care about them outside of Shulk and Rex potentially being their mentors.
I would love a version of Tactician that focuses on tanking instead of debuffing. ngl, really sad we didn't actually get any protection abilities on Tactician in the game because of how often Taion uses them to make shields in cutscenes.

Given how Taion uses his Mondo in cutscenes, perhaps Nimue could be a dodge tank similar to Mio. Or she could be a different hybrid wherein she is a defender role, but her arts also take aggro from certain classes/provide buffs depending on if she or another defender is being targeted.
To me Nimue's weapon icon looks more like a wand than a sword. A bit like the wind waker's wand. I could see her using the wand to control her Mondo that would be flower themed with Saffronia colors instead of Taion's white Mondo.
Just another point, cannon doesn't really matter in ng+ anyway. I had ethel fight ethel, alex fight alex, valdi fight valdi, zeon fight zeon, melia fight her fake self, gray fight gray... you get the point. Unfortunately, teach can not fight against himself, and it made me sad. Also ashera, monica, ghondor, and fie fie don't fight the party. Well technically ashera does have a fight against the party during her ascension quest, but I'm gonna assume that you can't use any heros for that fight, just like the teach situation.
I have an idea for Teach, when you fight him, let yourself get killed, now you dont have Teach in the party and have to walk again to where you fight him, now you can equip Teach to fight himself, something similar happened to me in 1 of the fights in chapter 5 (dont remember which tho) where I lost and had to walk towards the boss, that gave me an opportunity to equip a hero, I think Its the fight where Ghondor escapes but you had to have her in your party, so for the boss you arent able to equip a hero
@@Baltaczar unfortunately, I'm already way past that point, I'm about to do triton on triton crime, lol. Thats a great idea though, I did try the quick rematch, but that puts you into the party menu then right back in the fight, you can change heros but only if there is a hero to begin with, you cant add a hero if the spot is empty. But dying would put you bacm to landmark or camp, so you can get into every menu, including the hero menu, so it's definitely possible. I will try this against ashera, because her fight during her ascension quest is very similar to fight against teach fight. Unfortunately, I'll have to do without teach, unless I do a 2nd NG+, which i wasnt planing. I forgot to add, im taking pictures jusr for the memes, so If ashera works, I might just use the autosave file to do a speedrun to teach just for the picture, thanks for the idea!
To be fair, Mwamba and Joran could just have assets based on earlier game development stages. E.g. Mwamba ended up being temporary hero in the prologue, and Joran could be in similar role in some cut section where you actually fight trials you are shown in the cutscene.
If they add Nimue and you bring her to the lost colony I hope they add SOME dialogue- I’m sure I’m not the only one who thought it would be fun to bring Ethel to Colony 4 after getting her back and there was literally just one line where Bolearis says he must be dreaming while meanwhile nobody else reacts at all. Also maybe have Taion give her the watch? I was 100% sure his ascension was going to end with him passing it on to the young Nimue which thematically would have been perfect and was shocked when it didn’t happen.
I don't care if he's plain looking give me my sharpshooter mwamba! Also I can totally see mwamba's hero quest being finding a purpose for himself instead of simply waiting for his homecoming
Worth noting that Eunie had a generic gun sort of like Mwamba in the flashback where she died, and uses her staff in her next life. It makes sense for Nimue as well to have a different weapon this time around.
It would be really cool if Joran and Nimue returned as either new party members or heroes in the DLC story, considering canonically it is perfectly plausible for both to reappear after the ending and Monolith already has plenty of assets to make it possible.
Considering botw got Rex’s outfit, it would be really cool to get some more Zeldablade crossovers, whether that be outfits in either game or something as out there as a hero Link Could be: Noah’s jacket in ToTK Champions tunic/new outfit + master sword as a skin for swordfighter or Guardian commander (w/ hylian shield) Or an actual master sword class with a link hero (would be funny to have link and the party members going HYAH for all their arts)
Now that you mention it, it is kinda odd that they bring back Mwamba, but he doesn't rejoin you. Nimue makes sense storywise. A) she's smol and B) the lost colony is pacifistic, but it still would be neat for her to be added. Meanwhile poor Hackt is barely a footnote lol But, you know what they say - the more the merrier
OK the icon order,which to be fair probably doesn’t matter a ton, still leads to my thoughts that at least in one point during planning, the Queens may have been intended to be available much earlier. It’s mainly due to the dialogue at the end of the Queens’ questlines where they talk about the deep friendship they’ve formed implying a lot of time spent together, which felt weird when I’d only had them for maybe an hour of gameplay. Then maybe things changed with the queens in the story and they do work great as a post-game bonus, so there we go.
Nooooo, knowing that Nimue was planned at one point kills me! I wanted her since I saw her in the trailer, but its very unlikely, since she somehow has mondo as her weapon, like Taion.
It'd be neat if they implemented something similar to Dagas for Mwamba, where he has the extremely basic skillset he starts the game with until you hit level 10 with him and do his Ascension Quest, then he unlocks a new set of much more unique Arts, Skills, and Chain Attack abilities on par with the less basic Heroes. As for Nimue, if they do implement her, I think she'd make the most sense as a Defender based on how Taion used his Mondo to form barriers in cutscenes. She'd be a Dodge Tank who fights with Ether-based attacks, casts Armor Veil/Decoy buffs, and pulls aggro from other characters with Blinding Blossom since Saffronias are like cherry blossoms. As for her weapon, I noticed the Hero Roster actually gives Taion's weapons the official name of Spelltags. "Mondo" is just the nickname he gives his own version, and when you upgrade them with the Origin Shards their name becomes "Totality". So Nimue could technically use Spelltags but shape them into a different form with a different name that's not "Mondo".
Something you didn't mention is that we do get to see Nimue with her blade out when we first encounter in the side story. While we don't see her use any Mondo, we do see her with her weapon out and its just Taions arm thing as well so it can't even be that she uses Mondo but controls then with a flowery baton or something. Basicly, her weapon icon makes 0 sense.
I think they did all that for mwamba because they've always done that kinda thing with xenoblade. Fiora in the beginning has her own move set and abilities, but we know what happened. Vandam also has his own affinity chart and secret new game plus affinity chart, and we know what happened to him as well.
I was just looking over the heros today actually and trying tomfigure out why the order is so weird. My best guess at the reason that they have optional charecters before valdi, and other required heros comes down to the artist. Saito does every art up until the 2 extras, then valdi and everyone after just credit "monolithsoft". 2 exceptions for this though, riku/manana are monoliftsoft charects, and ghondor is a Saito character.
A part of me wants some sort of B-Side story that focuses on Mios POV, particularly during the intro, or at least a playable flashback to when Hackt lived. It would be a neat way to flesh out Hackt a bit, and maybe retcon his abilities and look to something more unique. All I know of him is that Mio got pissed when he died. Considering Mios party doesn't break or topple enemies, with Sena being an outlier with a launching talent art, I like to think Hackt was in charge of both breaking and toppling. Mostly because it would make for a funny contrast to Noah's group, and to Mwamba, with Mwamba being the only one in Noah's group who doesn't contribute to the daze combo, and Hackt almost in charge of the full launch combo.
interesting theory about hackt being the breaker and toppler, since no other class has two combo arts like that. also, the idea for a side story focusing on mio in the intro would be cool, and (game spoilers ahead!!!) i would like maybe a glimpse of mio's POV before/after the formation of aionios, like we got for noah and the bird scene in the pro/epilogue
As much as I'd love these, I don't expect them to actually be proper heroes Instead, I think they're going to be like one of the what, 3 different Jins you get in 2, exclusive to a challenge battle (or multiple) Having challenge battles featuring the Kevesi four, possibly a mock battle like we saw in cutscenes, would be a fun one, and explain how Joran can be there (and also lets us use the child Noah, Eunie, and Lanz models in combat, still disappointed they didn't let us keep smol Ethel for her hero), the Lambda trio (Isurd, Taion, and Nimue), and the modern Kevesi four (bringing back Mwamba, and having the battles set just before the story) would make a lot of sense to me. In regards to the evidence specifically, I think the chain attack portraits are solely fallbacks, from a time when flashback battles were planned maybe, and the weapon sprites the same. Because Mwamba is actually in the party at one point, his fallbacks needed to be complete incase someone did some sequence break and got him during chain attacks and such, but given Joran and Nimue uses were cut (under this theory), the assets could be left as placeholders
Oh, I would love this, sounds way more interesting to me! Mwanba as a hero would just feel like a wasted potential slot, regardless if there ever could be anyone instead of him anyway. Even if it means we get no additional heroes, I would be much happier with more elaborate challenge mode battles, like the flasbacks you mention.
Valdi and juniper are probably ordered like that because neither of them are important to the story outside their quests, they are only required because of their field skills

Is it possible that the Nimue, Joran and Mwamba ones are for the challenge battle mode? There's an image as part of the DLC reveal (for the Vol 3 challenge battle bit) that showed both Zeon and Juniper out at the same time. I could easily imagine a young Keves party vs Garvel, a young Kite and the others as a challenge battle as the assets are there. I can see something similar for Nimue, Isurd and Taion.
12:59 Let's be real, the Mondo do whatever the fuck the plot needs them to do in that moment. I want to say that Taion's Talent Art is one of the only things we see him use in a cutscene. Everything else is just Mondo does whatever.
my outlandish prediction for one of the upcoming updates is that we get N and M as heroes, like how we got the torna blades. M would definitely be a lot more feasible though, considering all of the attacks in her boss fight are just Zephyr arts.
I hope they go for the free additional content route. I'll buy the DLC whenever a physical release is announced, so having that in the meantime would be so nice. If they choose Nimue, I wonder which Blade they are gonna give her, since she's the one who taught Taion the art of Mondo? I'd love an attack or tank class with Mondos

(Spoilers regarding Joran in the story, I guess) For the record, unless I am mistaken, it is stated in game that Moebius do not return to the cycle of reincarnation after death. So it would be kind of hard to justify Joran coming back through the Cradles, and imo it would feel kind of cheap if he somehow managed to survive his death scene (since we get a whole spirit-world goodbye and everything). Though its true that he really didn’t need to die during that scene (I don’t see any reason why he couldn’t have just joined the party then and there), I would still have a hard time buying that he somehow survived it. But hey, if it’s postgame DLC stuff, I guess they can pull whatever non canon stuff they want like they did in 2 ahaha
Hmm... actually... maybe, this hypothetical party member Joran could be one of his mud-puppets, that he made of HIMSELF, before death? That would be an interesting concept. And would allow us to have him in the party without undercutting the emotional beats of his death.

I think another thing that supports the idea of Joran being added as a hero is the noticeable lack of Keves healer classes. As of writing this, of the current 8 healer classes in the game, only 2 of them are Keves classes. While I don't think Keves/Agnus ratio for classes in each role needs to be 100% equal of course, this is a very noticeable difference in the amount. So adding at least one more Keves healer class in the future does seem pretty likely to me.
I think its not as hard to make new heros than in 2, there are a few classes that share animations like Ethel and Segiri, Zeon Monica and Riku and Manana, Cammuravi and Teach, Isurd and Gray, and even Melia and Eunie (I am referring to when the characters use the classes) and I think Mwamba uses the same animations as Valdi, but what I hope the most is that Monolith finally understands that they are doing tanks wrong
Alos, anyone curious aout where the fuck they'll fit these heroes in the overworld and the story? Like would DLC heros show up during the show in phase of the Z boss fight? Considering that Origin was half built by Tora, Ino could very easily be a security robot that we have to beat up then reboot before having as a hero. Just change the color scheme to dark purple.
something interesting to consider is how both Joran and Nimue could give us some insight into how some ideas for the story might have changed first the fact Joran is placed between Monica and Nia might suggest that at some point in development instead of Joran dying with D in the Cloudkeep instead he would turn on D and Moebius and become one of your heroes as for Nimue it could be that with her at the end of the list besides Mwamba she might have been planned to be recruited at the end of Taion's side story also Ghondor being one of the last and not closer to the other story heroes could suggest she was decided on late into development which could explain why her joining scene is unvoiced as well as why she has a role in Sena's side story while also getting her own ascension quest and Mwamba being at the end also makes sense since he was a temporary party member so having him listed after all the permanent ones fits
I don't think that we're going to get a bunch of Heroes the way we did with blades in 2 however I think that there's a good chance that there will be a couple of free Heroes. And I think that Mwamba is pretty likely to be one considering that he is a temporary hero and also what the ark he goes through in the game is.
I thought Moebius were supposed to be like, _dead_ dead after they die, so it certainly would be interesting to see Joran as a hero if they do make him one. Not sure if they’d just use his Keves soldier model they used in flashbacks, but I’ve honestly wondered what he would’ve looked like if he grew up with Noah and the others, so there’s a thought.
Either 100% dead, or just removed from the world's cycle but still present in Origin. After all, there's not been any definitive answers on which of those two is the case. Yes they don't get reborn, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're gone forever. Z could be just fucking with them for example, then bring them back clean of their memories of being moebius and shoved back into the normal cycle. After all, removing them permanently, whether through homecoming or moebius death, would lead to a decline of the amount of playthings in the endless now, which considering it's endless, would essentially put a finite limit on how long it can go on before there's no more people.
@@Darca1n to be fair, Mio does mention that Z doesn't see such an outcome as a problem. Unless I misunderstood, she remarks on the way to Origin that he is quite willing to start a new world without humanity if he has to.

Nimue having the Mondo Blade drawn actually does show up ever so briefly on her right arm when her party is defending against V's Levnises, doing the same maneuver Taion was doing when assisting Lanz and Sena during their first Ouroboros transformation.
That dlc image is teasing me, if I don't get to play as shulk and Rex I will be very upset, they're definetely saving it for the dlc, same thing with the torna dlc But still, I just really want to see those 2 again
Having been a big fan of Age of Calamity and expected Astor to be added as a character and it never happening, I'm keeping my expectations low for this kinda thing lol. I'd assume they may be characters scrapped in development, like maybe there were playable flashbacks with Joren and Nimue as party members, but I'd say Mwamba being brought in as a free update hero is a real possibility (plus it means we may get 1 new hero of each role, defence healer and attack)
Nimue might have a different Blade. In Eunie's flashback we see her wielding a gun like Mwamba‘s, not her Sniper Staff. So theoretically not everyone has the same weapon everytime they‘re reborn. They can‘t change them either which is established in a camp conversation. Only Ouroborus and City people can actively change their weapons. As for Noah, he still had his Gladius but reformed it into a sheath for Lucky Seven.
I want more heroes but I don't want to hype up more heroes just because MonolithSoft did it in Xenoblade 2. Xenoblade 2 was special and had a ton of content added but I am not expecting the same for Xenoblade 3. 2 is what we are getting and if we get more, yay but no guarantees.
I mean, the logo for the expansion pass literally includes Shulk's FC replica Monado and Pyra's sword, and neither of these characters are Shulk or Rex, so....... I hope we get time skip versions of them and not just them as they were, I personally think that would be cooler.

Joran would definitely be a none cannon NG+ Thing if he where to be added. Nimue I could actually see them adding as a reward for clearing side story taion. Similar to how miyaby (forgot how to spell it) was for completing side story mio if they really wanted go down that path. Unfortunately just like with most dummed content it was probably just very early beta stuff that won’t see the light of day
Through the game we saw Taion use the Mondo very defensively at times, like they were a shield. While in gameplay we don’t really get anything like that at all. I could see an added Nim being a tank with a saffronia covered sword in one hand and using the mondo as a barrier with her other hand.
I don't think it would be as difficult for Nimue weapon to change as drastically as we think as Noah's original blade weapon prior to getting Lucky 7 as a kid was a red version of the generic sword weapon that was changed to accommodate it so at the very least it implies that blade weapons can be altered (heck Noah lucky 7 sheath even morphs into a gauntlet when the swords drawn so the change in that state is a lot more drastic than expected). Her unused weapon could be a type of sword that uses Mondo shaped like saffronia leaves and she could have a quest that morphs her original blade weapon into the flowered sword seen in that unused icon.
I’d love to see Mwamba as a hero, and I think it’s pretty likely that we’ll get him eventually. But his Sharpshooter class from the beginning of the game is the most boring class imaginable in terms of gameplay style. He’s basically a less powerful version of the Stalker, which is already among the worst Attacker classes in the entire game. He fits in with the party well during Chapter 1 when you can use him, but his kit is simply not good enough to be relevant in the mid and late game. Imo, they should have a quest where he finds a new gun, or maybe learns a new technique, or something like that. And they should provide him with new attacks and skills in coordination with that quest so that his class is actually worth using.
Honestly if any of these 3 heroes were to be added for free into the game, the most useful from a gameplay perspective would be Joran. There are only 2 Kevesi Healers in the game (Eunie and Valdi) which really limits your choices for Supportive Master Arts with Agnian Healer classes of which there are a ton (Taion, Miyabi, Teach, Isurd, Fiona, and Nia). It would also be nice for Keves to have a healer with physical attacks instead of ether ones. Maybe he could be a Kevesi version of Fiona who focus a little less on buffs and a little more on healing but can still grant buffs to the party, just at a slower rate. Not that I don't want Mwamba as a full hero, but I hope his weapon class wouldn't be too similar to Grey's being that they are both guns. My ideal wish for Mwamba is that he gets used to buff, de-buff effects in this game and his class would function as a more offensive version of Taion's Tactician class. Give him an art that puts down a field that makes de-buffs more likely to apply and then give positional arts that inflict things like accuracy down and blaze when attacking from 'X' position. The Master Art could Pierce and potentially inflict the Resistance Down Debuff. For Skills, give the class things like, higher chance to apply de-buffs over time and increased duration extension for de-buffs and make those skills that any class could use. Maybe if they gave us a unit like this, classes like Tactician, Strategos, Stalker, and Machine Assassin would become more viable against Superbosses. With Nimue, I'd love to see basically an ether oriented version of Mio's class that focuses on fast ether attacks, evasive fields, and buffing itself with Decoy. Give her a High Aggro Art, the ability to place an Evasion Up Field, and maybe an Art like Cross Impact that instead of granting Power Charge grants Decoy. The Talent art could be a High Aggro/Evasion effect. For Skills give her things like the ability to increase ally ether defense by a certain percentage in a small area around her, increased evasion at low HP, and maybe an Ether equivalent to Ultimate Qigong to make the class' relatively weak attack arts hurt a bit more. We don't really have a tank class in the game that attacks with ether and there are not a ton of evasion tanks either Nimue's class could fill both roles nicely.
Not saying it will happen but Saito recently drew a new KOS-MOS design that remains unnamed and it was for the 20 years of KOS-MOS book Choco made called KOS-MOS FIX. She looks a TON like KOS-MOS Re and Version 4 KOS-MOS had a baby and I think it's supposed to be Saito imagining Re as an older KOS-MOS and Origin probably HAS recorded her data so it could either be the same KOS-MOS or a new one that has been reborn. Obviously, I have no proof she is going to be added and this may very well just be an art thing Saito wanted to do but it is important to note that Saito has said nothing about this design while every other artist commented on their contributions to the book. Is KOS-MOS very possible as a new hero? Yes... we even got a Xenosaga re registered trademark in Japan very recently which could hint at her being added since Xenosaga is never getting revived as sad as it is. If you are interested in the new KOS-MOS design it is the one in my picture and can find the scans online for it. There is also an interview between Takahashi and CHOCO at the end of the book but it is machine translated so it's real hard to say what it says. I dont want to get anyone's hopes up that she is coming back but a new design by Saito and nothing said about it strangely tells me it's possible they are going to use it in the future. T-ELOS was also a free blade added in Xenoblade 2's clear file so maybe it could be the same here? KOS-MOS would be Agnus and her hero quest can probably cameo with Segiri.
And then KOS-MOS showed up in the After story DLC and said "Man i sure was a xenosaga, But you guys were also sure were a xenoblade" and then the Elsa lands. LMAO
Yeah, it might make sense for Nimue to use the Mondo to create a sword, that said though, I almost think it might be possible that she may use an actual sword that isn’t actually her blade ( similarly to Noah ) alongside the Mondo. If she’s a Defender, then perhaps she uses the Mondo to shield and/or create openings for her to strike with her sword.
Something else interesting about Nimue... The original Nimue doesn't seem to have a Affinity Chart entry, but original Cammuravi does. What is notable about this is you never talk to original Nimue at all, or original Cammuravi as a NPC outside of his Ferronis. It seems there is a similar case with original Hackt as well.
It's worth pointing out that even classes in base XC3 already reuse animations- look at Zeon's and Riku's classes, or Grey's and Isurd's. It may be less effort than you'd expect to make new heroes/classes
My first time around I expected Joran would join as a hero before his death scene. Nimue, I pondered for a second during Taion's side story, before remembering she's the same class as Taion.
Well, when you get the ability to change hero accessories, mwamba's accessory that he had at the beginning gets added to your inventory and it has his icon on it, meaning he still has it equipped. We'll definitely get him back at least.
Three weeks ago, I said that they didn't need to make entirely new animations for new Heroes. *I was right. The Arts for Ino's Class reuses animations from Ethel's Class. And I think one from Zeon? Not sure why, but it does.*
I'm really looking forward to getting nimue honestly because after you do taion's quest and he talks with isurd about nimue and when I finally got isurd to join the party, I was really let down that when I get them 3 back together nothing happened 😢
I swear i wanna have the challenge mode start off with a cutscene where Noah and gang along with Nia and Melia are speaking to the nopon archsage when suddenly Young Rex and Shulk (relative to the queens) appear and they have a moment questioning how the hell any of that is remotely possible while we get a few funny moments with Nia and Rex wondering exactly someone like her became queen or something while Nia tries to shut Rex up to avoid utter embarrassment while Noah and them watch it unfold

For Nimue’s playstyle, I think her being a defender that uses Mondo would make a lot of sense. It would A) explain Taion’s use of the Mondo in a bunch of cutscenes as a shield as something he learned from Nimue and B) round out these extra heroes, with one of each role. It would also be really nice to have an actually good class that uses the Mondo because they’re such a cool idea for a weapon but Tactician is so bad.

I 100% expect additional heroes even beyond the DLC characters. Whether in a free update (like the Torna blades) or with a DLC mode (like challenge mode), I'm sure there will be more to come.

Unfortunately, I doubt we'll be getting Poppi as a hero, only because Ino is the Poppi of this game and we also have Soulhacker. Ino has a customizable class as well as Inoswap, and in the cutscene shown during the direct we see her drinking an ether canister, so she's likely going to fill the role that Poppi did with ether as a resource for upgrading her.
I do think we'll end up seeing more of Poppi in the DLC story though. That almost feels like a given. We may even see the promise Poppi made with Mythra come to fruition.

You can already see Mwamba's icon in NG+ if you open the Characters menu. Also, both Nimue and Joran have Healer classes in the files, and they share chain orders with Taion and Lanz respectively. Nimue also has 40 TP, the same as Isurd. However, I think they represent cut content for e.g. a flashback sequence.

Another (maybe) reason I could see them adding Mwamba as a hero is that in a completed save file, you can see his equipped items like the other heroes. This may relate to some NG+ stuff, but my initial impression was that he would be DLC/future update material. Joran as a hero makes as much sense as getting Torna as blades in XC2, so I could see that happening. I would love to see more of Nimue--The Lost Colony definitely felt both highly detailed for a hero quest and underutilized, so I hope we get more content there.
Mwamba is a full Hero as per the other heroes - he gains xp as any other hero does, and when I started ng+, he was level 99.

This is a bit unrelated to the idea of cut heroes, but if you look at the Dummy picture for the chain orders, you might notice that the silhouette of Noah actually has the gauntlet from Unlimited Sword on. It makes me wonder if they originally planned to give him a special chain order when Lucky Seven was in use.

It is worth noting that Mwamba is part of a Colony 9 side quest, effectively letting them know that he's alive, and saying that he plans on visiting them. If he is going to be a cannon Free Update Hero, this quest will need to be a prerequisite. Of course, IIRC this quest isn't unlocked until AFTER Zeon's Ascension Quest, so YMMV.

I’ll just point out that Taion’s weapon in the hero gallery is listed as Spell tags: Mondo. It seems really weird to list them as a subtype of spell tag rather than just mondo of there isn’t going to be another spell tag user. Like Nimue would be.

I've seen a lot of arguments from people who want a founders story, and people who want an epilogue.
I think the story being about the founders depends on if those statues of Shulk and Rex are actually the Shulk and Rex we know and love, and not just references like Vandham, Yew, Zuo, and Aizel.
The cover art also includes Lucky 7 sheathed in Noah's blade alongside the Monado Rex+ and Pyra's Aegis sword. The red sheath only existed with Main character Noah and no previous versions of Noah used this blade.
If it was going to be about the founders and the city I feel like they would have put some hints to it in the cover art like what they did for Xb2's expansion pass, which had the emblem of torna with the Tornan capital in the background. I feel like it has to be something else, but the possibility is still on the table.

I agree. There's way too much foreshadowing that points towards the two worlds meeting again (Nia literally quotes Alvis in the final cutscene with the "walk hand in hand again" line). The question that I have is how will they be able to meet each other again.
The game talks about the founders only one time in the main story from what I recall and aren't relevant to the story in the same way Torna and the Aegis war were in xb2. There's no reason for me to care about them outside of Shulk and Rex potentially being their mentors.
I'm guessing that Nimue would be a Tank. This is based on the various times Taion uses the Mondo as a shield.
I would love a version of Tactician that focuses on tanking instead of debuffing. ngl, really sad we didn't actually get any protection abilities on Tactician in the game because of how often Taion uses them to make shields in cutscenes.

To me Nimue's weapon icon looks more like a wand than a sword. A bit like the wind waker's wand. I could see her using the wand to control her Mondo that would be flower themed with Saffronia colors instead of Taion's white Mondo.
Just another point, cannon doesn't really matter in ng+ anyway. I had ethel fight ethel, alex fight alex, valdi fight valdi, zeon fight zeon, melia fight her fake self, gray fight gray... you get the point. Unfortunately, teach can not fight against himself, and it made me sad. Also ashera, monica, ghondor, and fie fie don't fight the party. Well technically ashera does have a fight against the party during her ascension quest, but I'm gonna assume that you can't use any heros for that fight, just like the teach situation.
I have an idea for Teach, when you fight him, let yourself get killed, now you dont have Teach in the party and have to walk again to where you fight him, now you can equip Teach to fight himself, something similar happened to me in 1 of the fights in chapter 5 (dont remember which tho) where I lost and had to walk towards the boss, that gave me an opportunity to equip a hero, I think Its the fight where Ghondor escapes but you had to have her in your party, so for the boss you arent able to equip a hero

Thats a great idea though, I did try the quick rematch, but that puts you into the party menu then right back in the fight, you can change heros but only if there is a hero to begin with, you cant add a hero if the spot is empty. But dying would put you bacm to landmark or camp, so you can get into every menu, including the hero menu, so it's definitely possible. I will try this against ashera, because her fight during her ascension quest is very similar to fight against teach fight. Unfortunately, I'll have to do without teach, unless I do a 2nd NG+, which i wasnt planing.
I forgot to add, im taking pictures jusr for the memes, so If ashera works, I might just use the autosave file to do a speedrun to teach just for the picture, thanks for the idea!
To be fair, Mwamba and Joran could just have assets based on earlier game development stages. E.g. Mwamba ended up being temporary hero in the prologue, and Joran could be in similar role in some cut section where you actually fight trials you are shown in the cutscene.

If they add Nimue and you bring her to the lost colony I hope they add SOME dialogue- I’m sure I’m not the only one who thought it would be fun to bring Ethel to Colony 4 after getting her back and there was literally just one line where Bolearis says he must be dreaming while meanwhile nobody else reacts at all.
Also maybe have Taion give her the watch? I was 100% sure his ascension was going to end with him passing it on to the young Nimue which thematically would have been perfect and was shocked when it didn’t happen.
There is actually another line for Ethel, she says "Why does this place feel so familiar?"

Mwamba’s chain attack icon is used. In New Game +, when you go to select a hero before Mwamba leaves, you can see that art of Mwamba in the menu.
OK the icon order,which to be fair probably doesn’t matter a ton, still leads to my thoughts that at least in one point during planning, the Queens may have been intended to be available much earlier. It’s mainly due to the dialogue at the end of the Queens’ questlines where they talk about the deep friendship they’ve formed implying a lot of time spent together, which felt weird when I’d only had them for maybe an hour of gameplay.
Then maybe things changed with the queens in the story and they do work great as a post-game bonus, so there we go.
Nooooo, knowing that Nimue was planned at one point kills me! I wanted her since I saw her in the trailer, but its very unlikely, since she somehow has mondo as her weapon, like Taion.
She still could be put in the game, we just have to wait see.
It'd be neat if they implemented something similar to Dagas for Mwamba, where he has the extremely basic skillset he starts the game with until you hit level 10 with him and do his Ascension Quest, then he unlocks a new set of much more unique Arts, Skills, and Chain Attack abilities on par with the less basic Heroes.
As for Nimue, if they do implement her, I think she'd make the most sense as a Defender based on how Taion used his Mondo to form barriers in cutscenes. She'd be a Dodge Tank who fights with Ether-based attacks, casts Armor Veil/Decoy buffs, and pulls aggro from other characters with Blinding Blossom since Saffronias are like cherry blossoms. As for her weapon, I noticed the Hero Roster actually gives Taion's weapons the official name of Spelltags. "Mondo" is just the nickname he gives his own version, and when you upgrade them with the Origin Shards their name becomes "Totality". So Nimue could technically use Spelltags but shape them into a different form with a different name that's not "Mondo".
Something you didn't mention is that we do get to see Nimue with her blade out when we first encounter in the side story. While we don't see her use any Mondo, we do see her with her weapon out and its just Taions arm thing as well so it can't even be that she uses Mondo but controls then with a flowery baton or something. Basicly, her weapon icon makes 0 sense.
I think they did all that for mwamba because they've always done that kinda thing with xenoblade. Fiora in the beginning has her own move set and abilities, but we know what happened. Vandam also has his own affinity chart and secret new game plus affinity chart, and we know what happened to him as well.

I was just looking over the heros today actually and trying tomfigure out why the order is so weird.
My best guess at the reason that they have optional charecters before valdi, and other required heros comes down to the artist. Saito does every art up until the 2 extras, then valdi and everyone after just credit "monolithsoft".
2 exceptions for this though, riku/manana are monoliftsoft charects, and ghondor is a Saito character.

A part of me wants some sort of B-Side story that focuses on Mios POV, particularly during the intro, or at least a playable flashback to when Hackt lived. It would be a neat way to flesh out Hackt a bit, and maybe retcon his abilities and look to something more unique. All I know of him is that Mio got pissed when he died.
Considering Mios party doesn't break or topple enemies, with Sena being an outlier with a launching talent art, I like to think Hackt was in charge of both breaking and toppling. Mostly because it would make for a funny contrast to Noah's group, and to Mwamba, with Mwamba being the only one in Noah's group who doesn't contribute to the daze combo, and Hackt almost in charge of the full launch combo.
interesting theory about hackt being the breaker and toppler, since no other class has two combo arts like that. also, the idea for a side story focusing on mio in the intro would be cool, and (game spoilers ahead!!!) i would like maybe a glimpse of mio's POV before/after the formation of aionios, like we got for noah and the bird scene in the pro/epilogue
Mwamba and Hackt both appear in a quest that takes place in Agnus Castle, it's part of a colony 9 quest I believe

Instead, I think they're going to be like one of the what, 3 different Jins you get in 2, exclusive to a challenge battle (or multiple)
Having challenge battles featuring the Kevesi four, possibly a mock battle like we saw in cutscenes, would be a fun one, and explain how Joran can be there (and also lets us use the child Noah, Eunie, and Lanz models in combat, still disappointed they didn't let us keep smol Ethel for her hero), the Lambda trio (Isurd, Taion, and Nimue), and the modern Kevesi four (bringing back Mwamba, and having the battles set just before the story) would make a lot of sense to me.
In regards to the evidence specifically, I think the chain attack portraits are solely fallbacks, from a time when flashback battles were planned maybe, and the weapon sprites the same. Because Mwamba is actually in the party at one point, his fallbacks needed to be complete incase someone did some sequence break and got him during chain attacks and such, but given Joran and Nimue uses were cut (under this theory), the assets could be left as placeholders
Oh, I would love this, sounds way more interesting to me! Mwanba as a hero would just feel like a wasted potential slot, regardless if there ever could be anyone instead of him anyway. Even if it means we get no additional heroes, I would be much happier with more elaborate challenge mode battles, like the flasbacks you mention.
Valdi and juniper are probably ordered like that because neither of them are important to the story outside their quests, they are only required because of their field skills
SPOILERS: Characters that must become NG+ heroes: Mwamba (with a side quest where we salvage with him, and his ascension quest where he unlocks his memories. and copes with the trauma of his death/goes back to Colony 9 to visit Ellis). Also I think Joran would be a cool healer class to have since we are sorely lacking in healers (not).

Is it possible that the Nimue, Joran and Mwamba ones are for the challenge battle mode? There's an image as part of the DLC reveal (for the Vol 3 challenge battle bit) that showed both Zeon and Juniper out at the same time. I could easily imagine a young Keves party vs Garvel, a young Kite and the others as a challenge battle as the assets are there. I can see something similar for Nimue, Isurd and Taion.
12:59 Let's be real, the Mondo do whatever the fuck the plot needs them to do in that moment. I want to say that Taion's Talent Art is one of the only things we see him use in a cutscene. Everything else is just Mondo does whatever.
my outlandish prediction for one of the upcoming updates is that we get N and M as heroes, like how we got the torna blades. M would definitely be a lot more feasible though, considering all of the attacks in her boss fight are just Zephyr arts.

For the record, unless I am mistaken, it is stated in game that Moebius do not return to the cycle of reincarnation after death. So it would be kind of hard to justify Joran coming back through the Cradles, and imo it would feel kind of cheap if he somehow managed to survive his death scene (since we get a whole spirit-world goodbye and everything). Though its true that he really didn’t need to die during that scene (I don’t see any reason why he couldn’t have just joined the party then and there), I would still have a hard time buying that he somehow survived it.
But hey, if it’s postgame DLC stuff, I guess they can pull whatever non canon stuff they want like they did in 2 ahaha
Hmm... actually... maybe, this hypothetical party member Joran could be one of his mud-puppets, that he made of HIMSELF, before death? That would be an interesting concept. And would allow us to have him in the party without undercutting the emotional beats of his death.

I think another thing that supports the idea of Joran being added as a hero is the noticeable lack of Keves healer classes. As of writing this, of the current 8 healer classes in the game, only 2 of them are Keves classes. While I don't think Keves/Agnus ratio for classes in each role needs to be 100% equal of course, this is a very noticeable difference in the amount. So adding at least one more Keves healer class in the future does seem pretty likely to me.
I think its not as hard to make new heros than in 2, there are a few classes that share animations like Ethel and Segiri, Zeon Monica and Riku and Manana, Cammuravi and Teach, Isurd and Gray, and even Melia and Eunie (I am referring to when the characters use the classes) and I think Mwamba uses the same animations as Valdi, but what I hope the most is that Monolith finally understands that they are doing tanks wrong
Alos, anyone curious aout where the fuck they'll fit these heroes in the overworld and the story? Like would DLC heros show up during the show in phase of the Z boss fight? Considering that Origin was half built by Tora, Ino could very easily be a security robot that we have to beat up then reboot before having as a hero. Just change the color scheme to dark purple.

something interesting to consider is how both Joran and Nimue could give us some insight into how some ideas for the story might have changed
first the fact Joran is placed between Monica and Nia might suggest that at some point in development instead of Joran dying with D in the Cloudkeep instead he would turn on D and Moebius and become one of your heroes
as for Nimue it could be that with her at the end of the list besides Mwamba she might have been planned to be recruited at the end of Taion's side story
also Ghondor being one of the last and not closer to the other story heroes could suggest she was decided on late into development which could explain why her joining scene is unvoiced as well as why she has a role in Sena's side story while also getting her own ascension quest
and Mwamba being at the end also makes sense since he was a temporary party member so having him listed after all the permanent ones fits
I don't think that we're going to get a bunch of Heroes the way we did with blades in 2 however I think that there's a good chance that there will be a couple of free Heroes. And I think that Mwamba is pretty likely to be one considering that he is a temporary hero and also what the ark he goes through in the game is.

I thought Moebius were supposed to be like, _dead_ dead after they die, so it certainly would be interesting to see Joran as a hero if they do make him one. Not sure if they’d just use his Keves soldier model they used in flashbacks, but I’ve honestly wondered what he would’ve looked like if he grew up with Noah and the others, so there’s a thought.
Either 100% dead, or just removed from the world's cycle but still present in Origin. After all, there's not been any definitive answers on which of those two is the case. Yes they don't get reborn, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're gone forever. Z could be just fucking with them for example, then bring them back clean of their memories of being moebius and shoved back into the normal cycle.
After all, removing them permanently, whether through homecoming or moebius death, would lead to a decline of the amount of playthings in the endless now, which considering it's endless, would essentially put a finite limit on how long it can go on before there's no more people.
@@Darca1n to be fair, Mio does mention that Z doesn't see such an outcome as a problem. Unless I misunderstood, she remarks on the way to Origin that he is quite willing to start a new world without humanity if he has to.

Nimue having the Mondo Blade drawn actually does show up ever so briefly on her right arm when her party is defending against V's Levnises, doing the same maneuver Taion was doing when assisting Lanz and Sena during their first Ouroboros transformation.

Having been a big fan of Age of Calamity and expected Astor to be added as a character and it never happening, I'm keeping my expectations low for this kinda thing lol. I'd assume they may be characters scrapped in development, like maybe there were playable flashbacks with Joren and Nimue as party members, but I'd say Mwamba being brought in as a free update hero is a real possibility (plus it means we may get 1 new hero of each role, defence healer and attack)

Nimue might have a different Blade. In Eunie's flashback we see her wielding a gun like Mwamba‘s, not her Sniper Staff. So theoretically not everyone has the same weapon everytime they‘re reborn. They can‘t change them either which is established in a camp conversation. Only Ouroborus and City people can actively change their weapons. As for Noah, he still had his Gladius but reformed it into a sheath for Lucky Seven.

I want more heroes but I don't want to hype up more heroes just because MonolithSoft did it in Xenoblade 2. Xenoblade 2 was special and had a ton of content added but I am not expecting the same for Xenoblade 3. 2 is what we are getting and if we get more, yay but no guarantees.

Joran would definitely be a none cannon NG+ Thing if he where to be added. Nimue I could actually see them adding as a reward for clearing side story taion. Similar to how miyaby (forgot how to spell it) was for completing side story mio if they really wanted go down that path. Unfortunately just like with most dummed content it was probably just very early beta stuff that won’t see the light of day

Through the game we saw Taion use the Mondo very defensively at times, like they were a shield. While in gameplay we don’t really get anything like that at all. I could see an added Nim being a tank with a saffronia covered sword in one hand and using the mondo as a barrier with her other hand.
Yeah the only indication of this in Gameplay is his blocking animation being his Mondo shield lol
I don't think it would be as difficult for Nimue weapon to change as drastically as we think as Noah's original blade weapon prior to getting Lucky 7 as a kid was a red version of the generic sword weapon that was changed to accommodate it so at the very least it implies that blade weapons can be altered (heck Noah lucky 7 sheath even morphs into a gauntlet when the swords drawn so the change in that state is a lot more drastic than expected). Her unused weapon could be a type of sword that uses Mondo shaped like saffronia leaves and she could have a quest that morphs her original blade weapon into the flowered sword seen in that unused icon.
I’d love to see Mwamba as a hero, and I think it’s pretty likely that we’ll get him eventually. But his Sharpshooter class from the beginning of the game is the most boring class imaginable in terms of gameplay style. He’s basically a less powerful version of the Stalker, which is already among the worst Attacker classes in the entire game. He fits in with the party well during Chapter 1 when you can use him, but his kit is simply not good enough to be relevant in the mid and late game.
Imo, they should have a quest where he finds a new gun, or maybe learns a new technique, or something like that. And they should provide him with new attacks and skills in coordination with that quest so that his class is actually worth using.
Honestly if any of these 3 heroes were to be added for free into the game, the most useful from a gameplay perspective would be Joran. There are only 2 Kevesi Healers in the game (Eunie and Valdi) which really limits your choices for Supportive Master Arts with Agnian Healer classes of which there are a ton (Taion, Miyabi, Teach, Isurd, Fiona, and Nia). It would also be nice for Keves to have a healer with physical attacks instead of ether ones. Maybe he could be a Kevesi version of Fiona who focus a little less on buffs and a little more on healing but can still grant buffs to the party, just at a slower rate.
Not that I don't want Mwamba as a full hero, but I hope his weapon class wouldn't be too similar to Grey's being that they are both guns. My ideal wish for Mwamba is that he gets used to buff, de-buff effects in this game and his class would function as a more offensive version of Taion's Tactician class. Give him an art that puts down a field that makes de-buffs more likely to apply and then give positional arts that inflict things like accuracy down and blaze when attacking from 'X' position. The Master Art could Pierce and potentially inflict the Resistance Down Debuff. For Skills, give the class things like, higher chance to apply de-buffs over time and increased duration extension for de-buffs and make those skills that any class could use. Maybe if they gave us a unit like this, classes like Tactician, Strategos, Stalker, and Machine Assassin would become more viable against Superbosses.
With Nimue, I'd love to see basically an ether oriented version of Mio's class that focuses on fast ether attacks, evasive fields, and buffing itself with Decoy. Give her a High Aggro Art, the ability to place an Evasion Up Field, and maybe an Art like Cross Impact that instead of granting Power Charge grants Decoy. The Talent art could be a High Aggro/Evasion effect. For Skills give her things like the ability to increase ally ether defense by a certain percentage in a small area around her, increased evasion at low HP, and maybe an Ether equivalent to Ultimate Qigong to make the class' relatively weak attack arts hurt a bit more. We don't really have a tank class in the game that attacks with ether and there are not a ton of evasion tanks either Nimue's class could fill both roles nicely.
Not saying it will happen but Saito recently drew a new KOS-MOS design that remains unnamed and it was for the 20 years of KOS-MOS book Choco made called KOS-MOS FIX. She looks a TON like KOS-MOS Re and Version 4 KOS-MOS had a baby and I think it's supposed to be Saito imagining Re as an older KOS-MOS and Origin probably HAS recorded her data so it could either be the same KOS-MOS or a new one that has been reborn. Obviously, I have no proof she is going to be added and this may very well just be an art thing Saito wanted to do but it is important to note that Saito has said nothing about this design while every other artist commented on their contributions to the book. Is KOS-MOS very possible as a new hero? Yes... we even got a Xenosaga re registered trademark in Japan very recently which could hint at her being added since Xenosaga is never getting revived as sad as it is. If you are interested in the new KOS-MOS design it is the one in my picture and can find the scans online for it. There is also an interview between Takahashi and CHOCO at the end of the book but it is machine translated so it's real hard to say what it says. I dont want to get anyone's hopes up that she is coming back but a new design by Saito and nothing said about it strangely tells me it's possible they are going to use it in the future. T-ELOS was also a free blade added in Xenoblade 2's clear file so maybe it could be the same here? KOS-MOS would be Agnus and her hero quest can probably cameo with Segiri.
And then KOS-MOS showed up in the After story DLC and said "Man i sure was a xenosaga, But you guys were also sure were a xenoblade" and then the Elsa lands. LMAO

Yeah, it might make sense for Nimue to use the Mondo to create a sword, that said though, I almost think it might be possible that she may use an actual sword that isn’t actually her blade ( similarly to Noah ) alongside the Mondo. If she’s a Defender, then perhaps she uses the Mondo to shield and/or create openings for her to strike with her sword.
I think Nimue and Joran will be characters in the dlc story epilogue. It explains how Joran is alive and how Nimue has a different weapon
Something else interesting about Nimue... The original Nimue doesn't seem to have a Affinity Chart entry, but original Cammuravi does. What is notable about this is you never talk to original Nimue at all, or original Cammuravi as a NPC outside of his Ferronis. It seems there is a similar case with original Hackt as well.
It's worth pointing out that even classes in base XC3 already reuse animations- look at Zeon's and Riku's classes, or Grey's and Isurd's. It may be less effort than you'd expect to make new heroes/classes

My first time around I expected Joran would join as a hero before his death scene. Nimue, I pondered for a second during Taion's side story, before remembering she's the same class as Taion.
Well, when you get the ability to change hero accessories, mwamba's accessory that he had at the beginning gets added to your inventory and it has his icon on it, meaning he still has it equipped.
We'll definitely get him back at least.
Three weeks ago, I said that they didn't need to make entirely new animations for new Heroes.
*I was right. The Arts for Ino's Class reuses animations from Ethel's Class. And I think one from Zeon? Not sure why, but it does.*
I'm really looking forward to getting nimue honestly because after you do taion's quest and he talks with isurd about nimue and when I finally got isurd to join the party, I was really let down that when I get them 3 back together nothing happened 😢
I swear i wanna have the challenge mode start off with a cutscene where Noah and gang along with Nia and Melia are speaking to the nopon archsage when suddenly Young Rex and Shulk (relative to the queens) appear and they have a moment questioning how the hell any of that is remotely possible while we get a few funny moments with Nia and Rex wondering exactly someone like her became queen or something while Nia tries to shut Rex up to avoid utter embarrassment while Noah and them watch it unfold

Did Monolith announce the thing with XC2 NG+ getting exclusie content right on 2's launch? I dont remember and I really hope XC3 doesnt get anything exclusie to ng+ since i really dont want to start over on my save file.
