I honestly think I’ve learnt more in the last 2 weeks of watching your videos, than the last 30 years of tinkering around with guitar. I now hope to progress with your teachings, to achieve what I hoped and should have done as a teen! Thank you so much. 👍

I just got turned on to your site basically by accident. I'm trying to get back in good playing shape. Things have changed so much that I'm a bit overwhelmed. I'm self-taught and we didn't even used pentatonic's when I was playing. I got decent as a musician using the Mixolydian as a blues scale and created our own shapes I guess. I'm learning and understanding so much more than I ever got as a young man. There are a lot of very good instructors on TH-cam with great intentions and ideas and I think you've got a niche that could enrich most players' endeavors in this fantastic new world of musical expression. THANKS! 🎉

Great info. I understand the idea and I like how I can use those shapes to work my way up the fretboard in any key but I have to admit I’m still a little lost on how I connnect/incorporate these shapes with the pentatonic scale boxes.

Up and down the elevator we go (or train track rails). Fun stuff! David Gilmour uses this on intro to "Breathe", except he uses double stops not arpeggiated triads.
Both sides (left/right) of the pentatonic grip have (5-1-3) triads about the root notes. Like you said gotta know and be aware of those root note patterns at all times (they tell you the shape you are in or, if you know the shape, where the root notes are). Extending this idea means when in C shape grip, D shape is the high end triad to use; D shape grip, then E shape triad; etc. Can also do 3rd and 6th double stops vs triads about the root notes. Sounds great - thanks for the share. We learn together.

Ricky I was looking at the video too simple shifts to connect your pentatonic boxes and I see a book Ricky's unlimited TH-cam guitar something something what is that about and then again buy me one to be able to play the blues and using the pentatonic boxes should I just continue to deal with the pentatonic boxes and just do what you telling me to do😎😎😎?

Can you please make any detailed video on chord tones soloing. Any practical application and how can we practice using chords changes.
I have created my own chord tone soloing syllabus. And practicing daily because I don't like shapes. I like only melodic things.
It would be nice to take some advice from a experienced person.
    Thank you.
