    Summary:
    1. Bone Broth
If there's one thing you should be feeding your dog, it has to be bone broth. It's awesome for dogs and offers tremendous health benefits.
    2. Raw Goat Milk
As absurd as this may sound, raw goat milk is really good for your beloved dog. Raw milk in particular contains a lot of nutrients. It has vitamins A, D, K2, healthy fats and amino acids. Raw milk also has probiotics and digestive enzymes that repair leaky gut and boost skin health.
    3. Carrots
Don't we all love our dog's soft skin? Well carrots are certainly IN if you would like your dog to have healthy skin. Carrots are an awesome source of vitamin A. They boost your dog's immunity, promoting skin and coat health. That's not all... Chewing carrots not only keeps your dog occupied, but is also good for its teeth.
    4. Apples
An apple a day keeps the doctor away for humans. But what about dogs? Apples are healthy, fiber-rich fruits you can give to your dog. Just remove the pits. They contain a form of cyanide that is dangerous for your pooch.
    5. Eggs
For a long time, eggs were considered bad due to their cholesterol content. Thankfully, things have changed for the better as more and more studies have pointed out how great they are!

Yes, I’m a vet tech and I agree with all except I would be wary of coconut products for dogs who have a sensitive stomach. I also have used frozen carrots for teething puppies, and as you said, it keeps them busy chewing, which is also a great stress relieving activity for dogs.

I home cook my dogs' food and add doggie vitamin supplements and minerals. They love organ meats, giblets. I add Norwegian Salmon oil to their food also. They love bone broth. I also make gravy smoothies with vegetables like celery, and also add raw pumpkin seeds. I use Chia seeds to add fiber to their food. They love raw unsalted cashews as snacks.

Avoid preservatives entirely. Meat already has some natural salts especially fish. And dogs prefer their foods bland since they're more smell-sensitive than taste.

Right now my Sheltie will eat cheese, chicken jerky, and teeth cleaning treats. Yesterday she ate roasted white meat chicken by Tyson, but today she tried to bury it. She won’t eat dog food or rice, and while the vet couldn’t find anything else, we just finished ten days of antibiotics for a loose stool. If anyone has any ideas, please share. She is only 10. She really is a sweetheart, and we are joined at the ankles. ❤️ She stopped eating her regular dog food a week ago, and has refused canned dog food. I am at a loss, but will try beef tenderloin and/or turkey and gravy tomorrow.

Brown rice is never prescribed for dogs having gastrointestinal issues, such as diarrhea. It is always white rice because our canine companions need the starch. ... Due to the way in which brown and white rice is processed, brown rice can be harder for a dog to digest because it is not as processed.

I also cook egg whites and just a little of the yoke as a snack at night for him. He loves all the of it. Has kept him from being hungry all the time, prevents him from gaining too much weight and thinks he is getting special treat. His Vet. Is amazed how healthy he stays.
