Not just any friend, the only thing close enough to family he ever had. People like to say comic writers torture spider man the most out of all comic book characters, I honestly feel as though Croc is actually thee most tortured out of them all.
@bibby659 truth is almost every comic book villain is tortured even those who are straight up pure evil that's why they are villains, the amount of torture and shit they've been through. In other words they are done with everyone's BS
Dang, Robin was savage 💀 I love the videos on how tragic Croc's life has been. People treated him horribly his whole life resulting in bim becoming a monster. It's so sad that they killed the only person who was kind to him. I want this and your last Croc video's stories to have happened in the Arkhamverse because in that universe, Croc is probably the most monstrous.
Waylon is not just a killer. He cares for others like him, shamed, ridiculed and unwanted by the world. He especially has love for those who see who he truly is deep down inside. And Waylon will fight for them and avenge them without any hesitation. Croc truly is KING 👑 🐊
Croc , Ivy and Freeze are three most pitiable of his villains, they were getting not what they deserved, until they snapped. Perhaps Joker too, but Joker is far more disturbed.
@@MrVlad12340same could be said for most of the Gotham Rouge’s gallery, in some universes, Penguin’s family was just another part of the elite until they fell into hard times, Catwoman had to become a thief to get out of being a call girl, Clayface was an actor who lost his identity, etc.
Waylon's past makes it hard not to feel sorry for the poor guy if only more people had treated him like a human being instead of a monster he might have actually done something good with his life instead of becoming the monster everyone always treated him as
Worst thing abot Killer Croc origin is that people who called him monster, as soon as Jones acted like they called him, they'd be like "see, I told you he was a monster"
Stories like this are the reason why I tried to write fanfics of Croc getting a happy ending where he could live in peace and have someone who sees him as he is
Detective Hoolihan was one of the only people to show Waylon compassion and see past his deformity and treat him like a human being. Killer Croc is only an animal because society treated him that way. If people hadn’t viewed him as a monster then he probably would’ve lead a normal life. You have to remember most villains were made they weren’t born evil
I appreciate that your making these videos showing how interesting and tragic Killer Croc truly is as a character. I'd love to see you do videos on Killer Croc and his relationship with June Moone/aka The Enchantress in the Rebirth Suicide Squad run, because their relationship was honestly incredibly wholesome as June was the only person who truly loved Croc and saw him as a man, not a monster
Waylan has always been one of my fav Batman villans besides Bane cause....i relate to him alot. Alienated for being yourself and something you can't control. Rage against all who hurt people who have done nothing wrong. To be seen as a monster when you let go one time or many times simply because you naturally get pissed at things that make you distraught. I'm not alone and i realize that more than ever but God mentally i relate to Croc alot. If i could and it sounds dorky but....i would've loved to have been Croc's friend.
Man, before this I always considered Mr.Freeze Batman's most tragic villain. But he became bad because he wanted to bring back someone good in his life. For croc, he had very few good people in his life and lost it. Now he's a monster because of everyone just seeing and treating him like one.
Croc would be so much happier and better off if only he had one truly good friend in his life. Unfortunately, Gotham is the one city where nobody can have a good friend for long.
i think this is Dc equivalent of spiderman lol *got genetics mutation *raise by aunt *got bullied and discriminate *having a worse boss in his job *someone's precious to him got died *got people who saw him as a hero *he suffers a lot
Killer Croc is the biggest victim of Gotham City, an orphan boy that is raised in a bad neighbourhood with no poditive role model and a horrible skin problem that makes him look like a freak, he basically had no chance to be a good person. He deserves a redemption arc.
I’d like to imagine if he had a different upbringing he could’ve been a Hero, in a similar vein to Swampthing or the thing. Monstrous in appearance but a hero none the same.
This just shows us in fiction or real life. that not everyone is born a monster. But we're made one by the people that hert them that beat them down. and call them names making them the victims. of hate pain and lost until one day we go to far and take everything from them there name there human rights there identity and we push them too far to the braking point and thay snap and become the very we fear. There's two quotes that comes to mind. Number 1 "We make our own monsters, then fear them for what they show us about ourselves." Number 2 "Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster"
Croc works best when you show his humanity. Too many adaptations portray him as a dumb brute or savage monster, we need to see more of Croc actually being somewhat intelligent and sympathetic.
This is how villains are made yet we still ignore this made some of the worst criminals in real life u dont strip a poor soul from a sparkle of hope and still think he would be normal and these officers what is that real result
The thing is, Raid was never a game meant to be played, but utmost certantly one to be advertised. It would, under no circumstances be a bad joke to throw the quess that probably like 90% of the games budget really did all just go in to advertising, as well as trying too hard to stamp an appealing image of the game in your mind. Maybe a small portion of the rest did actually go into making a playable, good overall experience for the consumer though, who knows really. But what can I myself really do, or rather say, except... 'Mobile Game Moment 😑😔😔', Lmao
3:45 I genuinely feel like teasing the dude who literally wrestled with a gator is a stupid idea. You wouldn’t poke a bear with a stick, and you wouldn’t fight a guy way bigger than you, why would you poke fun at and take money from someone you call a freak?

It's so sad to hear that Killer Croc lost a friend
Not to mention his only one he had left. Even though they’re not friends anymore.
Not just any friend, the only thing close enough to family he ever had.

Killer Croc deserved better.
Killer Cock truly have a sad life 😔

"You should stick to muscle, most _successful_ robbers have followers"
" and i took that *_personally_* "
I'd be very interested to see a comic where Croc actually becomes a hero, he'd certainly make for an interesting one at least.
im willing to bet that was Jason
too mean to be Dick or Tim and way too early in the timeline for Damian
@@Mrcaremal5what about him teaming up with bane sonce bane can be good at times as in some comics
I was going to say the same thing about robin, but he's just a kid who doesnt know any better

Scarecrow too whether it's his old origin of his grandmother torturing him or his dad doing "experiments" on him in the new one

Killer Croc is easily one of the most misunderstood villains in all of comics.
Killer crocs stories are always really interesting. The emotion contrasting with his look grabs me every time
Stories like this are the reason why I tried to write fanfics of Croc getting a happy ending where he could live in peace and have someone who sees him as he is
Your friend was a good man Waylon. He deserved better. Least ya gave him a proper send off. And got him some revenge.
Killer Croc is definitely one of Batmans most tragic villains, maybe the most tragic
It feels like if Croc met beastboy and the teen titans really early that would've change a lot.

Croc aint bad, just been treated badly leading him to be this way, always enjoy when they bring up his past
one of the greatest stories to come out of the new 52
Croc would be so much happier and better off if only he had one truly good friend in his life. Unfortunately, Gotham is the one city where nobody can have a good friend for long.
Croc is my favorite batman rogue. He has THE most tragic back story and everyone including batman treats him like an animal when he is so much more
0:48 you turned a sad backstory into a raid shadow legends ad
don’t know much about Croc but every story i come across of his is so depressing. i feel bad for this character.
That's so sad for one of my favorite villains
That would be a better movie than anything DC has put out to date
Croc has it rough, everyone always using him.
And I thought Mr. Freeze had a tragic backstory.
i think this is Dc equivalent of spiderman lol

It's so nice that Croc is involved in activism, he's a credit to his community.
Killer Croc is the biggest victim of Gotham City, an orphan boy that is raised in a bad neighbourhood with no poditive role model and a horrible skin problem that makes him look like a freak, he basically had no chance to be a good person. He deserves a redemption arc.
they tried that. a few times. then drop it. the writers like Killer Croc name too much
Sad croc lost his friend but good he got REVENGE. plus croc is literally like my only favorite batman villain
I’d like to imagine if he had a different upbringing he could’ve been a Hero, in a similar vein to Swampthing or the thing. Monstrous in appearance but a hero none the same.
Ngl a killer croc movie would be really cool as he is easily the best underrated batman villian
Probably the saddest batman's villain

croc/anti hero/broken hero he isn’t a bad guy after all
Literally batman and the villains related to the Batman series is my favorite part of DC just because of back stories such as this one
I remember hearing something along the lines of "Humans hurt things they don't understand." That seems to explain Killer Croc well.
Croc works best when you show his humanity. Too many adaptations portray him as a dumb brute or savage monster, we need to see more of Croc actually being somewhat intelligent and sympathetic.
exactly
I feel like he needs a hug
It’s cool that you are big enough to get a sponsorship now
Killer crocs like the only villan I feel bad for in batman
Croc two face freeze and sometimes the joker have the saddest story
More comic summary’s like these please. Do scarecrow joker black mask two face riddler
Who wrote this book? This was pretty good.
I was listening to it to fall asleep and I started laughing
Croc is peter Parker of dc.
That last part was really sad
I would definitely work with croc, he a nice guy, scary sure but nice
Killer croc have my respect.
Even though he'd probably eat me id want to be Waylon's friend and try to help him become a good guy
This is how villains are made yet we still ignore this made some of the worst criminals in real life u dont strip a poor soul from a sparkle of hope and still think he would be normal and these officers what is that real result

Atavism, is a word that can also be used to describe our world today.
Hasn’t Batman been kind to croc before I know he has been kind to Grundy

Hmm… kind of makes Croc out to be an “Anti-Hero” instead of a villain.
It ain’t even Croc’s fault, people just bein’ racist anytime they see him.
I see the Spider-man writers have moved on to their next target.
Thought the friend was a priest?
Wait, I thought Killer Croc had no friends a s a kid.
