I believe he’s got 2 or 3 editors, who are really good, but it’s not just one guy making a video every day. Tyler also always credits the editor in the description so you can see who made the specific video

@@sazam974They meant that there isn’t just one editor under Tyler’s employment that churns out these videos daily, but a team that takes turns editing various videos/series (for example, I believe Dan did the entirety of Can of Wormholes, and Dan and Ben worked together on Paquerette)

A lot of my wins are off of pair focused decks, half joker is one of my favourites jokers
High card is currently the best method for late game, baron/mime/blueprint/brainstorm/perkeo/cryptid with a deck of only red seal steel kings.
I havent gotten that far in the game but i see how thats the case, turning a game of chance into consistency, who needs to hope for something good when every hand is good, makes sense

Spectrals are a case of risk-reward. They have powerful effects, but with a cost. Cards like Ankh can be extremely powerful in the early antes to focus down a build, immolate to thin your deck, and hell, if you get wraith and have credit card, you can go to -20$ and gain 20$. I would say that once you get a joker you know can make a run, like hologram…you can use the spectral cards to make that joker insane. Also, deja vu for red seals can go crazy with enhanced cards. Red Seal + Lucky Card + Oops all 6s + lucky cat = crazy. Add an ankh to get an extra all 6s or an extra lucky cat makes for some crazy stuff.
If you want to see these things in action, try a few different seeded runs.
I've found things like Ankh even more powerful in late stakes when you start getting eternals, it becomes even less risk and even more reward and it's won me several runs (like beating Purple Stake first try on yellow deck with early madness+ankh+other eternals)

Best joker combo I got was turn all face cards to gold cards, vampire, and all cards are considered face cards. My vampire was giving my times 15 by the end.

tip: play with high contrast cards texture pack. It makes it a lot easier to tell which suit is which sometimes.

I know that he won't read my comment at that point but i finished this series (in like 3 days) and very thankful for making those. I feel like now in real life i can think faster and explain my thinking better and am better at not forgetting things. In addiction to the fact that i enjoyed the watch... That's a pretty good run!

Tyler not knowing the suit change tech to get rid of the pillar debuff at 24:43 hurt me a little bit because of my min-maxing playstyle. Could've changed the jack with gold seal to diamonds with star to get an extra $3 .
i mean yeah its one of the most unintuitive mechanics in the game, alongside how cards like burglar and merry andy interact with the water and the needle

I played a run of pairs as I watched this video. I had to re-roll a few runs until I got the burned joker, I got it around ante 3, & I managed to get pairs to level 23 by the time I got to the boss at ante 8. I didn't get far in endless mode though as I had no mult multipliers.
So i ended up hearing from somewhere that there's actually a trick to how Wheel works, depending on if you wanna control your odds a little more
(Edit note here, this is of course in addition to the 1 in 4 chance already present for wheel to hit or miss, for anyone reading this that gets confused)
Wheel targets one of two cards at a 50/50 chance, the oldest applicable joker you have, or the youngest. When wheel hit your pair joker it chose the newest, otherwise it would've hit campfire since that's your oldest (not counting burnt since wheel can't replace editions).
Also, the edition given is X out of 6, 3 for foil, 2 for holo, and 1 for poly (i think, it may be 1 in 3 for each instead)
Good to know that it doesn't replace your existing editions

Why are you not using your last discard?
Because he's digging for the purple seal, but you need a Discard left over to get the bonus. If he doesn't have it with 1 discard remaining there is no benefit to searching any longer
It's funny because stone cards have potential to be run-losing: The vamp eats it and plot twist, the hand turns into a triple, losing all the levels

Tyler, after I've 100%'d my game of Balatro (I got it towards the start of Spring Break for me, being around March 20th-21st), I'm gonna do a challenge called a "Replication Run". Essentially, I'll be using a seed that you had in one of your videos, only I'll be doing my own gameplay through it, and trying to see if I can beat the seed in a different way than you did.
The rules are simple. At no point may I make the same selections you made at certain points (as in, what I purchase at a shop. Everything else is fair game, whether it be because it's literally forced onto me, like the Blinds, or it being an optional choice, such as using Consumables and purchasing Vouchers). I can use whatever deck I want, as well as choose whatever stake I want. There's no prize or penalty if I complete or fail the run. This challenge is entirely for fun, and I'm gonna want to challenge myself after 100% completion.

I bought this game and refunded it after 14 minutes. It’s a good game, I just learned very quickly I am NOT good at poker.
