gets tile that ends a lineage: "this is not an ender"
gets tile that does not end lineage and in fact prevents him from ever reaching his goals: "this is definitely a good tile for ending lineages

@@IshsaYou can know for sure when it's an actually good game vs just an ad, especially if he does more unsponsored streams for it (knockout city was absolute peak)
NL blocking off the land routes so the boss doesn't spawn, then blocking off all routes so that the game ends before hitting day 10, will certainly go down as one of the moves of all time.
Hope he continues to play it for another stream maybe.

More devs should be sponsoring NL to play their games. Theres something about how badly he plays that makes me NEED to buy the game to play it better
im getting into game dev stuff and thats legit one of the best ways to get your game out there. like balatro was expected to be a small release but because NL and a few other creators it blew up massively.
i try not to play the same game as NL or else my Type A chat energy starts showing im a Type A hiding as a Type B, like watching him throw a run away in Wildfrost from the one move out of 40 that kills you hurts my soul so i gotta keep that Type A chat energy locked down.

His lack of imagination for shapes and how to use them to close loops is fascinating.
Like that one t piece is obviously great because you just need two sharp turns to close the loop but he never notices it.
But on the other hand I lose to a chess AI that's only thinking two turns ahead
I would love to see this thrown into rotation, good game for some Type A and Type B fusion

@@Iron_Maniac Rogue Tower is great but the graphics are a huge eye sore it screams "this is is a students first engine project" its got pretty amazing gameplay outside of that though. i hope we hop on the the correct timeline and go towards roguelike and roguelite tower defense games. that shit would get me bricked up. give me more games like Hades, Rogue Tower, Slay the Spire, Wildfrost, Balatro, and less of Cyberpunk release, Suckfield(aka Starfield), Fallout 76 release, Dragons Dogma 2 release, Cities Skyline 2 release state.
all the games are completely different genres the genre isn't important its the content within and Roguelikes offer great engaging content where as DD2 for example was a 20FPS slide show for most of the game even on state of the art hardware or in Starfields case it was procedurally generated empty fish bowls with a super hallow story and item customization/crafting.
Watching this live as a type a chatter, playing myself for a good bit and then coming back to the TH-cam video for type b chatter dialogue in my head😈😈😈

Every game deserves roguelike features because they inject a sense of unpredictability and excitement into gameplay, keeping players engaged and offering fresh experiences with each playthrough. Its the easiest way to make people play games longer and as long as you're progression is good you are off to the races.

No offense to the developers but its harder for me to think about a tower defense without rougelike elements, even 10 years ago on that mobile tower defense everyone played with heroes you would unlock new tier to your defenses and unlock new heroes, even the building path thing is very common nowadays iirc it was even in the last tower defense NL played where you built your own road and every tile was a square instead of the hexegons.

IMO Best tower defense all time is kingdom rush I would love to see a kingdom rush stream. Great gameplay and excellent visuals
If you wanted to survive longer rather than stop alll spawns, wouldnt the best strategy be to never close off paths and just make them all really long. Kinda made me type A when he would close off a really long defensible path although im not 100% sure if thats a bad move or not
