PENN Squadron III Surf Conventional Fishing Rod
is it for small cut fish or small calamari ?

For this price I’d say get the 10’ (2pc) offshore angler breakwater at Bass Pro. It’s better than that ugly stick without a doubt in my mind. I’ve had Tica rods that cost nearly double and I think it’s almost just as good. It used to be $80 but it’s $90 now. Worth every penny though! Out of the 4 I bought I only had an issue with one after catching 8 big Jack Crevelle on the boat. Bass pro gave me a refund no problem. If they weren’t out of stock I would’ve exchanged it.

The star aerial is actually composite rod which more fibreglass than graphite
