The teachings you are sharing are exactly what I am experiencing in my daily life, now, your videos have been helpful. i'm such a newb. This material is so much more approachable when Jason presents it to us. I tried reading some Alan Watts (one of the easier texts), and even that, I struggled with.
Ego as self-identity is a natural phenomenon indigenous to all creation. It is not a disease to be rid of but rather a formation to work with (body/mind) through learning and discipline that naturally dissolves with insight and understanding. Otherwise, ego seeking to dissolve ego is like a dog forever chasing its tail.

We open up to this when we have a Kundalini Awakening. The levels are brought to our selves as we evolve into the Kundalini deeper. The ego is never truly dissolved but is refined. Thank you for your teachings.
Not necessarily. If ego is an illusion then when the light shines on everything showing the truth, then we know that you go does not exist. What you said sounds like to me that you go is trying to stick around by trying to stay relevant when it doesn't even exist. If we surrender our whole body mine heart and soul in spirit and allow the very essence of the true creator of the whole entire universe to live through us then you won't see an ego. That's just my take on what I've seen from my own experience and if I'm ever wrong I'll come back and correct myself here in this comment section. This is just what I've seen personally in my life. But then again don't believe what I say. We have to question everything even the spiritual path we're on whether it's real or we're all being fooled in a matrix. I question everything even the idea of a matrix controlling us. I stay open but whatever needs to fade away to fade away. I'm learning that I know there's so much more road to travel. @@Jay_Kayy I appreciate your point thank you, but as long as we still have flesh and blood and walk this plane we will have a ego. We can refine it our it can be refined by Grace, but it will be there to a point.
You dissolve it by putting on your true face. The original you. You were made to be. Whether or not it'll always be there is not something we should even focus on. I think so many people defend the ego out of fear of losing it. If we can take psychedelics an experience a sort of ego death temporarily, then giving my life up in full surrender to spirit, and allowing Spirit to fully operate through me, there would be no need for ego. Allowing the spirit of the whole entire universe to live through me and to operate through me erase the idea of needing an ego to live on this planet. I'm talking full surrender. Where we let go of everything we thought we were and allow Spirit to live through us constantly. The idea of self really that easy. It's a lot of work but from the work I've done, you go can serve itself through you or you can dissolve the ego by allowing Spirit to live fully through you.. Much love and namaste
@@Jay_Kayy You are correct about much, however the ego is never dissolved completely as you mentioned, it will show up but that doesn’t mean it cannot be refined. What needs to also be understood is psychedelics though effective for some, isn’t the answer to evolution or enlightenment. One also should discern that allowing the universe to live through you using tools such as psychedelics can invite energies that does not serve the higher consciousness or light.

A lot of times we as humans pick something that resonates with us and then we stick with it. But everything's always growing and expanding so am i. So that means that what used to resonate doesn't resonates anymore. But the ego doesn't exist in pure spirit. Yes humans may have to deal with it while on earth, but if we can learn to transcend the idea that we need it, and allow Spirit to live through us and there won't be a need for ego. Ego is like a virus, it infects people, and that's why we see so much suffering in the world. There's a misconception that you go can be used as our helper or can be refined and be our friend, I agree that we should learn to accept whatever it may be, but illusions are not real. So I will try to see it from your perspective the best that I can, but it's not a part of my belief system. If we can continue to rise spiritually Way beyond The human experience beyond this world beyond the universe, then we are surely meant to transcend the idea of needing an ego. Because there's no ego in the higher up spiritual realms. If that makes sense to you. Would I see spiritually, I try to put words to it but it is a bit more difficult. Because words barely touched the surface of what I'm trying to say. Words are limiting. I do have a way to speak to give the feeling of infinite to my speech. Here's the deal though, we all have to be open to new truths because we could all be wrong. But for right now what I said rings true for me. Does it mean I have no ego? Not at all, we are all a work in progress some farther than others. I just believe that you guys one of the many things that humans are here to conquer. Pure Spirit doesn't need one. So if we surrender and let go of who we think we are and surrender our whole entire being, and allow the great spirit to live through us, then we won't need ego. Now I can see I am the known ,the knower ,and the act of knowing. I have been meditating for nearly 40 years and in deep meditation I can become aware with no active thoughts in my head . I also become very aware. In my dreaming state and know I am dreaming. Now I have to work out how the universe came into being and so the plot thickens.
In my personal experience, there's nothing to learn after enlightenment, of course this coincides with that saying "I have nothing to teach" but there's only experiences after enlightenment

A very good glimpse into what a truth seeker could & would expect to face when one is on a Spiritual Cruise Ship -- which is to find the true meaning of Happiness (AND purpose of being born a human being) and stay in that realm for ever. The Spiritual Cruise Ship actually "returns" one to the Absolute-Truth of oneself, without having to go any special special place (but right here & right now)! You a great teacher Jason. Thank you for sharing the deeper wisdom with us all. I'm surprised there are no nondual cops in the comments saying silly things like those who speak don't know. This means we have a lot of advanced practitioners in the comments. I have seen those silly comments on some of your videos but they wouldn't say that to Swami Sarvapriyananda. So why do they say it to you? In India we have the upmost respect for teachers. I think Westerners need to learn respect for teachers like you. Otherwise they don't understand the East.
I like this channel too, but blind respect for any teacher is inadvisable. A teacher elected by whom? Self described as a teacher? Like cult leaders? Abusive violent teachers? There's something healthy about a student choosing their teacher imo.
Well, in a little bit of fairness, even the Buddha described his teachings as a 'finger pointing to the moon'. In other words, everything that is said is only really in the hope that the words direct people to the truth - the words themselves are not the truth, nor describe the truth, and, in fact, are an obstacle to the truth, all be it, a more subtle layer to shed.

Throughout the generations there have been more than a few who, seeking a release from the pain of not accepting what is, find themselves opening up to recognizing the being of one. In current times the simplest maha vakya is “I am pure Self” - in Gujarati ‘hu sudh atama chu” - in Hindi “mei shudh atama hu” ☺️
