The circular feature with the steps used to have a sundial on top back in the nineties if I remember right. There's also a grave on the left handside of the churchyard we used to call the highwayman's grave. It's got a poem on it about someone who was shot on Westgate hill. If I can find a photo I'll put it on the Facebook page.
