My maternal great grandparents are buried there. I lived just down the road as a kid. Also, Samuel Lister was the builder of the gigantic mill on Heaton Rd, Heaton, that I lived opposite until we moved to Undercliffe.
The Dixon’s were our family members - master plasters, the Alhambra theatre’s ceilings Bradford shows their beautiful work as well as other buildings in our city.
The cross with the arm board tilting right is toward the good thief crucified on our Lord’s right. This is more commonly seen with the foot board tilting right as in Eastern Orthodox crosses. ☦️

At 12.48 is the memorial to Robert Labatt and his wife. Perhaps they were members of the Canadian Brewing family Labatts Beer.
