- It was a time when people in Kashmir started hating the word 'Sarkar' known as the government in English. 12th December 1989.
The 1989 kidnapping of Rubaiya Sayeed was an act carried out by members of the Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front, Kashmiri political organisation on 8 December 1989, in Jammu and Kashmir. Rubaiya was the daughter of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, the then Home Minister of India in the V. P. Singh government. The kidnappers demanded the release of thirteen of their members in exchange for Rubaiya's release. The Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah did not want to capitulate. But the Central government accepted their demands and freed the jailed activists. Rubaiya was kidnapped within five days of her father being made the first Muslim Minister for Home Affairs (India) by the V. P. Singh Government to instil confidence within the Kashmiri people.

Anupam'ji, Darshan who played Krishna Pandit, Bhasha'ji, Mithun'ji, Pallavi'ji and everyone has done a marvellous job. Not just Anupamji's but even Darshan's dialogue delivery is very touching. The Sixth Genocide (1986) - Gul shah directed hus forces towards Kashmiri Pandits for no fault of theirs. At his behest they went on an unleashed spree of desecrating their temples and places of worship and shrines, torching their cowsheds and molesting their womenfolk.

Can relate with everything,I stayed in Kashimir for two years . everything is so true which they showed in this movie . We used to were hijab whenever we wanted to go in the downtown,I used to hide my identity, kudos to this director what a powerful scenes !!!
