Hi! Hope I'm not posting too late!! It's a bit of a long watch, but I figured it would be better to explore everything all in one go (I also didn't want to stop playing. It's so fun :D ) I hope you enjoy!
A crowbar, a D-Class survivor of a horrible event orchestrated by outside forces running around collecting things and potentially causing havoc, an NTF Operative trying to clean things up and a man who can disappear and reappear at will. Might not be exactly the same, but this mod gives me heavy Half-Life: Opposing Forces vibes and I'm okay with that.
Contaiment breach has the exactly same storyline as half-life, just in a different setting and other gameplay mechanics. This is literally the same thing but with this game "copying" opposing force
28:53 I believe the gas mask fell off your face after you fell out of 106’s pocket dimension, as there appeared to be a small black object floating in the water next to you
35:48 You actually spawn with Red NightVision so no need to “squint like a bug” I think default equip button is N but just look at the settings. Also I was also majorly disappointed that the AI companions at the start get destroyed in the first couple of minutes as then it turned, for me at least, into Scp containment breach with extra shooty shooty but, it is free so no harm really. Glad your back :)
Thanks! I'll mess around with it and see if it helps my barcode scanner eyes :) I think that's a fair assessment. It's still ye olde game with ye newe guns... I just know that, because development is in such baby stages, we're very likely to see our soldiers again in newer updates. I mean how cool would it be if we had to pull them out of the Pocket Dimension!? Anyway, I'm on a tangent now... Thank you for your comment :D

I've spawned the ai ntf and tested their ai and they'll probably return, anything the player can kill ntf kill, they attack 939 only if they attack you, and they search around the area to search for more enemies after they kill someone, and 173 can kill them

I'm still friends with the guy who created this mod. Ever since I first added him back when the mod was initially made, we've been friends since. He's extremely dedicated, and works on the game Every single day, as well as working on an original game project of his at the same time, too. Hes an Incredibly talented, and dedicated dude. ❤
I love this mods approach to cutscenes and to some extent, a tutorial. Rather than locking you into a scripted environment where you have no real control, the mod allows you to go at your own pace, starting you off in a safe environment to work things out and figure out what does what. It's very Half-Life and I dig it.
17:38 096 isn't kept in the entrance zone, that room is essentially a copy of the timed lockroom where 173 spawns alot in light containment, it just happens that 096 has an event in that room.
40:50 I always thought it was silly and exaggerated when a character in a scary movie sees the monster and gasps really loud, but now I see it's very true
Absolutely love the reference at 5:24! As someone who is both an SCP fanatic, and a Valve fanatic, I instantly respect someone who quotes the Portal 1 curiosity core. It makes me so happy when anyone references my favourite games like that. And if you ever have nothing else to play for a video, know that at least one fan of yours will be ecstatic to have you play anything like Portal, Half-Life 2, or anything else running in the Source Engine.
This game gives me nostalgia I didn't know I had, my time on the team that worked on the thing was brief and my contributions minimal, but seeing you check up on the work they did makes me greatful to have been a minor part of this games history.
God I love banter in games like this, makes me anxious for a finished version. It’s kinda crazy that after so long there’s still people dedicated to modding this game.

I've been in the Canadian Army 5 years and soldiers banter is EXACTLY like Bad Company. Shooting the shit in a connection of trenches one night hooked up via field phone we started playing would you rather down the line at like 2am. It's like a grown up slumber party.
I like the idea of this being a different site and actually following on from the one containment breach ending where you do everything perfectly and they say something like “It was as if the subject had performed these impossible tasks many times over”
I didn't get to watch this when it came out last night for me, but I enjoyed seeing the amazing storying building this mod has had. Thats only in the beginning section of the game and they suck too, I personally think they actually make it darker.
How are you supposed to run from the major SCP's without your squad getting in the way?
Disabling 106 is an SCP move for sure. Batesee=SCP confirmed.
