@@parvez011 because why is everything wrapped in wire. It's all been set up to look old and rusty but it's basically just covered in mud to look old. If their was real rust there would be very bad pitting in the metal. Look at all the items he restores, All the same colour mud. The work is only ever a rough job

Hate to tell you but that is not rare, that looks like someones failed project that got tossed out considering there was no edge to start with and there was no holes in the handle indicating it never had one till now as for the wires it by chance was decorative or was about to undergo heat treating? Not sure. Bht in the benifit of the doubt its still a neat piece and well done.
