    Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look.

      yes, transportation, e-commerce among other sectors are expected to experience growth, but who knows, the market has been a basket of surprises.

      True, we’re only just an information away from amassing wealth, I know a lot of folks that made fortunes from the Dotcom crash as well as the 08’ crash and I’ve been looking into similar opportunities in this present market, could this coach that guides yo help?

    10:25 In this specific example, the Tangible Book Value (252,691,000) is derived by taking the book value (shareholder equity 254,004,000) and subtracting ONLY the Intangible Assets (1,313,000), not the Total Intangible Assets (24,323,000). If we subtract the Total Intangible Assets from Shareholder equity then the Tangible book Value would be 229,681,000, not 252,691,000

    6:55 On goodwill, shouldn’t it be what you overpay vs book value, rather than what it trades for (market capitalization).
    Otherwise, this is a great video.

    Can/should I also use this for long term dividend companies?
    When I do this most of them have a Tangible book Value that's in the minus and if I do the current assets - current liabilities it's also below 1.
    Thank you in advance

    Hi Daniel, I am ready to buy Semiconductors stocks, which are the top 3 among the 5 stocks (AVGO, AMAT, LRCX, KLAC, NVDA). I like your style to explain us well regarding best stocks. I want to hear from you (Your Opinions). Thank you for helping us.

      Hi P Nath, a TH-cam comment won't let us to answer fully for such a deep question. Each stock is unique based on investors risks tolerance/portfolio makeup/etc. Please allow us some time to think about this one. In the meantime, our free form and insights feature are great ways to compare stock fundamentals before diving deeper on competitive edge in their investor relations materials etc. Apologies for not directly answering the question, we didn't want to write a sub-par answer. We can make more semi conductor stock videos after more deep research in the future

      @@StockUnlock Perhaps some information about how the markets go in cycles. Growth for years, then value, then commodities, then back to growth. The fallacy of chasing the last wave.

    Hello Daniel, I'm your subscriber from beginning)). Kan you please give your thoughts about Sema4 Holding Corp. (SMFR)🙏. It's a very important for me because I'm in deep minus with this position and l don't know should I close it, or use this correction for to get my money back?

    • @StockUnlock
      @StockUnlock  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Poul, I'm sorry to hear about that stock position being in the red. I will make sure Daniel see's this (we have a Stock Unlock team managing this channel, Daniel still has his personal TH-cam channel as well). For legal purposes though, we are not financial advisors and therefore cannot give buy/sell recommendations on stocks.

    Any formal education in accounting or finance that lead you to this or were you able to learn this on your own?

    • @StockUnlock
      @StockUnlock  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Q Money, the Stock Unlock team has mixed educational backgrounds that span engineering and finance. Overall most of our finance knowledge comes from reading an uncountable number of books, trial and error in the markets over the past several years, and deeply studying investing greats such as Warren Buffet and Peter Lynch (to name a few).
      We see investing education as a never ending journey. There's always more to learn, and more stocks to analyze.
      So in short, mostly from the "do it yourself" type attitude. How about yourself? It's great to see you here, and welcome to the page :)

    Dude, couch is not an asset! Your house is not an asset! It is property u can sell and turn into cash! A couch you rent to other people would be an asset. A house you rent to other people would be an asset. House n couch r liabilities!
