The Wii start up disc is basically when you first get the Wii on launch and also the Wii has protocol if it does not have a startup disk and the startup disk is loaded with all of the Wii data that it needs in order for it to work
This is how I remember the Wii as! Everybody tries to get that feeling back, but this video has that feel. I remember that we upgraded it to have internet, but we didn’t pay for the channels. So it didn’t look quite like this, it basically looked like a typical Wii. Mine is probably rare, it’s black. They really didn’t make a lot of black Wiis. I loved the Wii as a kid. I really felt like I was excercising and having fun at the same time. The kids now will never experience the thrill of using a WiiMote, using the Wii Wheel in Mario Kart Wii, or playing the ORIGINAL Wii Sports Resort, not the new Switch version.

As always. The Nintendo Wii for me was the last video game console I ever bought, until my oldest brother got the Xbox 360, and eventually both him and I went towards PC gaming in the mid 2010s. As of now, we still own two wii consoles, one with a laser reader that broke off the console with a slightly stuck power button, but still able to power it on if you press hard enough, and another console that can only read Wii games but no gamecube, as well as the two gamecube consoles being purple and silver (one from 2002, and the other from 2006). While there are some great games for the wii, for me, the 5th and 6th generation to me are considered my favorite generations of all time.

But I wouldn't mind pulling out two of the Xbox 360s, my older sister's Xbox One (Xbox Three) S console, Nintendo Wii, Gamecube, N64 fake gold color, Playstation 1, Two playstation 2s, Two Nintendo DSi's still working to this very day. My older sister's 3DS and Two Nintendo Switches, as well as every Pokemon Mainline game from Red & Blue all the way up to now she bought, Gameboy Color, Advance, Advance SPs as well, and tons of gaming controllers, both wired and wireless. Still playing video games from 1998/1999 onward with the PS1 and N64 first, and now onto PC/Emulation.
Funny enough, I have a console that we never updated to 4.0, so it's stuck on a 2.0 version from back in June/July 2008 when we broke it due to me knocking the console over with a gamecube controller while playing Super Smash Bros. Melee.

Even the Gamecube ones 20 years later, along with one of the PS2s and one PS1 still working, without opening the gosh darn things, in 20 years. Gameboy colors, advances, and my Nintendo DSi still working years later. Just that the Windows XP desktops, and many of our old laptops don't work or bootup anymore so.

@@samali6499 I used the dolphin emulator, you can find a tutorial on TH-cam on how to use it, and bricking your wii means making your wii not work, basically just "turning it into a brick"
