No one was kicked out during COVID. People lost their jobs and left. UAE Government administered free COVID vaccines to everyone in the UAE. In fact, the Indian Government shamefully, didn't allow people who have lost jobs to easily come in. They kept the borders closed initially for two months and then allowed evacuation flights and quarantine requirements for nearly one year whereas India itself got millions of cases. There was no regular flights, but chartered flights for nearly one year from the start of COVID. Indian government just wasn't taking back its citizens as they should. I went to Dubai 3 times. I would not want to live there tbh. I’m from Canada and I just feel like that life is too materialistic, expensive & you will never get citizenship (as you said). I feel bad for people from less fortunate countries who have lived there their whole life but can be kicked out of the country for anything, even petty political issues with your home country. You can’t really build for retirement there. It’s a nice vacation spot but I don’t think it’s worth it to build a life there long term.

I normally visit often, and he came to Melb once, and he def didnt want to stay in Dubai after that visit. And the weed sucks there! Too many strict laws in my perspective that I would much rather not have to worry about. And there is always a feeling of second class citizen with the way everything is setup for Emirates', for most. I probably would not go there again unless it is for a big gig because it's no longer fun.
Interesting I visited Dubai back in November last year, with a friend and both of our WhatsApp’s worked fine. Granted I always run NordVPN on my phone, but the friend traveling with me did not, and hers worked perfectly too. Any explanation as to why?
My mind hasn’t changed, this is just the cons of moving to or living in Dubai. Did you watch the actual video or are you judging based of the title alone?
You should review rules for posting on social media there, report scams fraud of employees you experience personally to authorites not bash the government as fraud for drivers license fees 😮
If you've never found a country that beats UK transport then you must have basically never travelled to most countries... East Asia, Eastern Europe, most of Western Europe has better transport than the UK lmao
Certain passports are restricted from going to certain countries because of the instability of that country. The more countries you can go into visa free means the stronger your passport is e.g Afghanistan can go to 28 countries visa free or visa on arrival whereas Japan is at 194 countries it can enter without obtaining a visa in advanced
The GCC are working on neutralizing citizens now, I think UAE and Qatar offer citizenship if you worked for the government and lived there for 15 years.
lol 😂why would you want citizenship in UAE? There are zero benefits to having citizenship other than more responsibilities and less freedom. Citizenship is the last thing you want in the new world. I know an old guy that lived next to me when I was living in Bangkok for example that lived there for 40 years on a tourist visa 😂. So many countries now, you can just pay a bribe or get an elite visa or golden visa, you don’t really need citizenship anymore. For flying you just go by private jet. No passport required. I’m in the process of dumping my U.S. citizenship for example as it’s absolutely worthless unless you enjoy donating 50% of your income to a country you no longer live in. Citizenship is simply not needed for the types of people that live in Dubai. If you don’t understand why then you probably aren’t wealthy enough to be in Dubai. Stale air? What? What part of Dubai are you in? I’m in Marina and it’s amazing, ocean breeze daily for morning runs. The heat isn’t even that bad bc it’s dry heat. I run 13 miles regularly in 40 degrees C and it’s a non issue. This sounds like jealous cope bc simply have been out priced by American nomads earning $50k-$100k / month

Some bigger cities than London have even better, newer and faster public transportation. Most of then in APAC.
I’ve heard, haven’t been to Asia much
Go and visit for yourselves don’t let other’s experience deter you from your decisions.
I live in a Middle Eastern city too, from uk the nature and greenery part was nail of the head, I’d also add over population
Arr you saying that you choose a Middle Eastern City over the UK because of the over population?
Do you also prefer the UK because of its greenery and nature?
@@LucyLucy296 I’m only in the M E temporarily haven’t really chosen it yet, but since it was just dessert 20 years ago, there’s literally 0- little nature and greenery l, when you leave the uk for a while u take for granted some is it’s beauties like nature

Walking at night and restaurants close around 02:00 in Dubai and other Emirates
This is the cases in many other countries too.
In India it closes around 8:30 and than open too at 11:00 in the morning. What are you talking about?
I think he meant 2 am. I miss Dubai, the sense of security when walking at night was an amazing experience 😊
wow, i've never gone to another country and seen brown or yellow water coming out of the taps. even in ghana, which is supposedly a developing country, the tap water is always clean
There never could be any reason good enough for putting a restriction on Indian citizens from returning home.
You must be a nitwit comparing the UAE with India. India seems to have more than a billion people obviously it's going to have a million cases. America had many cases as well..
So informative, thanks
@6:09 The tap water looks disgusting. I have lived in the UK for 65 years in different parts of the country and have never had water like that. It has always been fresh, clean and safe to drink. That cup of liquid looks like water that has been processed by the human kidney. And the Burj Khalifa isn't even connected to a sewage system. Dubai looks like a fur coat, no knickers type of place! And no, or few, green spaces or parks - ugh, give me London any day of the week.
How pet friendly is living in Dubai and would it be difficult to bring a small dog over from London? Very informative video btw!
Youll find London transport very unreliable and expensive compared to many asian countries like china japan Singapore
Yeah I haven’t been to much of Asia except Thailand, I’ve hear good things about the transport
Hey sister, after living in the city for 14 years, I may not share the same opinions as you however I clicked the video based on the caption as I felt some type of way lol super bias of me as you can tell lol. I was expecting to hear a whole video of over the top slander and I was pleasantly surprised that It was one of the better Dubai bashing videos, although I cannot argue against your opinion I would be lying if I said I adjusted to this incredible city right away. I say that to say it would be great to hear you talk about the mindset of people that would love to live in a beautifully safe country like this in exchange for some of the constant threats they may face in their respective home countries or to talk about what you feel maybe required in order to live in a vibrant city like Dubai as your delivery and articulation is great and may add a bit more context to your opinion, no where on earth is perfect I think that we all know but this place most definitely could be the start to generational change in someones family and with the state of some places in the west makes Dubai a walk in a park and a go to life changing and saving destination. God bless, great channel and keep it up.. you now have a new sub.
That water in the cup was horrifying. wow
I don’t know why people want to live long term in Dubai if you are not a multi millionaire with homes in other countries.
I’ve been on holiday there 4 times. I’m done by 10 days after admiring the architecture, infrastructure and 5 star hotels.
To be honest, the food is not that great either.
There’s no traditional culture, no fabulous souks to enjoy like in Muscat, Kusadasi or Istanbul or even Bangkok.
It’s all fake life and most people who intended to stay over time end up broke and fleeing their creditors 😅
I moved to Nigeria from my birth place in UK.
I have air conditioning installed in Lagos but rarely use it. Constant exposure to it is detrimental to your health.

Last year, I was working full time, budgeting groceries, unable to afford date nights, and missing time with my kids. Now I learned how to make money online. Now am a SAHM, homeschooling, and making profits every week.
That's great! I'm motivated too! How can we achieve this challenge?
No specific one really, because there are lots of investment plans and strategies littered all over the internet today, for instance, investments like real estates, gold, drop shipping crypto currency and lots more

I applaud the UAE not giving citizenship to foreigners. Look at the people that have come to the UK and Western Europe over the last 30 years, some of them dont value their citizenship.
People from the UK live in Spain, Australia and other countries, so should the same comment apply to them also? Look at the Brits at the Euros and other Tournaments getting drunk and fighting. It's a rich comment coming from you. And yes I am British too but not arrogant and conceited
Well said

The Uk has the BEST transport system in the World. PERIODT. Uber in Dubai for 7 days was reasonable actually. My WhatsApp was blocked too. Out of our group of 13, only mine was blocked
U ever been to Japan , South Korea , Hong Kong or Singapore? Also the transport systems in Sweden , Finland, Germany, Swiss, France and the Netherlands are very good / proper / decent.
This sounds terrible. The air quality blowing sandy particles would be a complete deal braker for me but I'll defenitely go to visit for a week or so. Maybe once I'm there I can have a diffrent impression.
1. You don’t need a VPN for WhatsApp.
2. Traffic is the biggest issue
You need a VPN to take calls and video call. Traffic is a good point
It’s a nice vacation spot but I don’t think it’s worth it to build a life there long term.

because the government can now read your whatsapp messages where before it was encrypted and they couldn't access the messages ... This was deemed a threat because people were using whatsapp primairly during the Arab Spring to cause chaos and havoc in other countries

Yea I had a really good friend who lived there with his fam, he owned 4 hair salons, but moved to NZ recently.
Are you even allowed to smoke weed lol
Sorry youtube del my comment, short answer is no! Lol
Interesting I visited Dubai back in November last year, with a friend and both of our WhatsApp’s worked fine. Granted I always run NordVPN on my phone, but the friend traveling with me did not, and hers worked perfectly too. Any explanation as to why?
Did you try to make call? The messaging works fine it’s usually calls and video that don’t work well
Yeah calls don’t work. The hotel staff told us as soon as we checked in

Could you explain the difference between a strong and weak passport please?
Certain passports are restricted from going to certain countries because of the instability of that country. The more countries you can go into visa free means the stronger your passport is e.g Afghanistan can go to 28 countries visa free or visa on arrival whereas Japan is at 194 countries it can enter without obtaining a visa in advanced

lol 😂why would you want citizenship in UAE?
