I wander which is more appealing, wafting along with the Spirit of Ecstasy in your view on the end of the hood or the 3 pointed star of a W126, difficult one to choose, both wonderful cars in different ways.

I think this 1992 Rolls Royce Silver Spur 2 should be compared with both the Mercedes W126 560 SEL and the W140 S500. The production of the W126 started in 1979 and ended in 1991. Production of the W140 commenced in 1991 and ended in 1998. The production period of the RR Silver Spur covers that of BOTH Mercedes models having been produced from 1980 to 2000.

I think Rolls Royce might prefer you to refer to their product as 'smoked salmon' rather than 'fish n chips' 😎
