The calfskin looks great, and they offer another colour of calfskin now too. I can say that the dark green goatskin full yapp is also really, really nice. I believe Schuyler now make the best value premium Bibles. Schuyler have more full yapp Quentel ESVs in stock at the moment, but they sell out fast: don't miss out.
Thank you for the review! It is always good to watch a review before buying something!!!What I would like to mention is that Schuyler don’t sell their New Bibles with defects and let alone with big and visible scratch as that one. What I’ve seen is that Schuyler can sell their defected Bibles in their own website, which is the evangelical Bibles, and they have a separated section there specifically for defected one. But you would know that they were defected ones
Thanks for the review. I'm trying to decide between a calfskin or goatskin Schuyler. I know you mentioned very briefly the calfskin is not as soft as the goatskin, but I am wondering if you could elaborate a bit more? My preference would be for a very floppy...even foldable...Bible. So, would you say I should go the goatskin route? Thanks for any help!

I'm pretty sure that it did not come from Schuyler with the scratch or the perimeter stitching messed up.
