- Frame machine set up and repair on a cement mixer after major roll over. Trying to work more with editing. Let me know what yall think. 🤔 also this video is more geared towards the set up of the frame machine. Cement mixers have a high center of gravity and roll over a lot more than other trucks. Thanks for watching also check out my merch store at BendinWithBendon@esty.com
Are you cheating on Bob? You started off with a yellow finger then Bob came out, how dare you :P
That’s Bobbett she’s the weird goth chick that Bob married 😂
Me to I ask myself about Bendon "orientation" 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Bob was enjoying the party pack in the green room. Fame has tempted him. 😮
The squeaky hammer kills me
Man that stuff is heavy, people do not realize how much work that is in a day. Music, hair and equipment is from the 1980s, how could it be any better?? I hope you and your family stay safe and healthy Devin.
The craftsmanship you display with all skill and no ego is fantastic
Truck frame straightening seems to be 45% setup, 10% twisting and 45% putting everything back together. Takes patience, attention to detail and physical fitness as everything looks both bloody heavy and wanting to hurt you.
Those Mack mixer trucks are no joke! We just flipped one of ours a few weeks back and the frame damage was minimal. The drum was toast though...
Just started watchin your videos and I got to say the swish pointer sound kills me every time!!!!
The squeaky hammer was funny too.
As a straight box driver I am amazed at the twisting torture these frames have to endure during the work day.
Wasn't that long ago I was comin back to the yard with 11,000lbs of axles and hubs when I hit a pretty bad rut and the truck rocked heavy to one side and BOOM!!!!
I broke a king pin and blew an airbag, not a fun day.
Love your content and will be lookin forward to some more vids.
I remember a full cement truck drum being along side a state highway for at least twenty years. It was finally broken apart and removed when the highway was renovated.
I remember there being several around the area that I grew up in. The Crete usually set up by the time they got the wreckers or cranes there to set them back up on the wheels. So they would just gas axe the drums off to make it easier to set up. And they didn't really have much of a way to move the drums away. So they just set where they were.
The squeaker noise while hammering😄 It's the little things. Love your stuff man. I imagine filming jacks up your work flow (and flat rate, if you're flat rate), thanks for sharing anyways.
Thanks for taking the time out of your day to bring us along. I know doing a days work and explaining everything can add a lot of time.
Best Truck straightening channle on youtube!! Matter of fact its the ONLY one i watch since youre narration and "ever so subtle" comedic persona is top notch.
Twenty five years ago the ready mix bought 5 advance front discharge mixers. One was single frame and 4 were double framed. We ended up replacing the double frame with a single because of broken frame rails just behind the cab. The single frame flexed while the double frame broke.
Love your content Devin and your persona.... its content creators like you that show what America's all about.... God bless
This is mint! Love learning about your craft.
I really enjoy watching the mix of precision and brute force that goes into these repairs, all through the lens of an old hand. I was a light dity mechanic for years, and now drive medium chassis daily, and the bits I've learned from the channel have given me some insight into little problems/issues i see in the fleet. I'm not the guy that has to fix it, but still like learning about stuff outside of my gained experience.
good work. the skill requires to do this cant be thought from a book, only natural born mechanic. I salute you sir.
Bro is really stepping up the editing game. Not that there was anything wrong to start.🤠
I used to drive one of those. They can be a handful at times.
Great job telling us about them. Also, great job getting that one fixed.
Worked for a well known trucking company for 15 months. ( Car broke down that's why I lost my job ) but we had 2 trucks in the yard that were involved in Fatal accidents. 😮 70' and 40+ tons don't stop on a dime. Give big Trucks some space and you might live to see tomorrow 🌝🌞
Might be one of your best videos so far. Great explanation of what you were doing, lots of good camera work and the wireless mic is a nice addition. The skill and knowledge it takes to do what you do is way above what most folks realize
Finally a video that is not tiktok length
Exactly, I can appreciate shorts but YT is for longer form content
Mature competency is fun to watch.
After a cement truck rolls over, you get concrete evidence.
Good seeing you again Devin. Pesky ol hurricanes sure are a nuisance sometimes. Really like your long content and look forward to seeing more. Keep at it you re doing great!
You get a proper mic? Audio is nice. Nice work man. Enjoy watching something where someone knows what they are doing.
Just wanna say that I like the long form content. Thanks and bless you!
The hammer whacks are funny, but the whack at your kid's mom...😂😂😂
Thanks again for sharing Your knowledge Devin. Best Wishes to You, Your Family and Friends....
damn dude looks like you work hard. heavy stuff all the time lol always saw you on Facebook reels didn't know you had a TH-cam. i am now subscribed.
Love the Long Form videos. Not a single one I have not loved. Thanks for the tremendous effort to make them.
“when he was in Vietnam…… I’m just kiddin’ “ 😂😂 the intrusive thoughts won that round
Man o man😂😂😂, I love this channel. Love the skill ,to be admired , and how your knowledge gets things fixed.
The "sound effects added"..... 😂😂😂😂😂
Wish I had a hammer that did that. Mine mainly missed, hit my thumb, but totally missed most things I aimed at. Brilliant content, keep em coming 😊

Doing the same job for 45 years ! The long Hare ? It keeps the sparks and Dirt out of your Ears.
Just picked up an Enerpac Multi port Hydraulic pump with all the remote for my Home shop.
You surely are a specialist in what you do
Top notch video
This ain't a whistlin diesel video..🤣🤣😭
That drive tire behind the fuel tank has a hell of a chop to it. Thanks for bringing us along.
Always like watching a professional at work especially when they believe in getting it right by doing it right ! You talk about the frame machine being old i prefer older equipment seem they are better designed and strnger that tge new ! Thanks for the video ! 👍👍
I saw that jacked up tire and thought, man they must have been driving that a while all twisty before taking it in for repairs
A collab with Whimpling Greasel would mean more work. Lots, lots more work.
Tony the Tiger? "They're GRRRRREAT!"
Love your videos!! Keep em' coming!!
I took on an old gmc in 2015..DIY. Been welding framing etc, random for 9 years. your videos go along with my attitude. It is steel. you can fix it. it goes a long day.
I really like your videos. Bring me your truck. You can put it in my shop
You are definitely top-notch. Love your videos, and hopefully, you get things sorted out soon.
Holy Moley.....always fun watching your videos......cheers from Florida, Paul
Your voice reminds me of the red green show 😂😊
In most big companies in Sweden with in-house clothes, they offer carpenters pants.
Lovely thing about those is that you got a sleeve on the inside pantleg.
So you can get kneepads and slot them in the pants.
Now granted, It's usually only foam ones but it does a hell of a lot.
Always protect your joints, eyes and hearing. Those are the ones that suck the most to damage.
Bendon for President
Always entertaining and educational thanks man, and say hello to your goth wife for me.
I'm another guy that sure enjoys your content. Great engineering, great humor, great results!
40+ year carpenter, here, worked on a few cars, too. Check out an electronic level, MD makes a good 1. I bought my 1st on in the early '90's while building a recording studio. Studios design should avoid parallel surfaces to avoid echoing/reverbing between them. That means nothing is square or plumb. It's waaaay harder to intentionally build out of square & get things to fit.
The electronic level took my skill level up a notch; having degrees, in per ft was the reason.
But that's not the reason I recommend MD. Around 2015, got the level out to do some retirement work. Started calibration process & it froze up; stuck. Called MD & by sheer chance got the CEO as they were preparing for a trade show out of town & it was hectic, (MD is not a huge company).
Asked about somebody helping me sort the problem out, he said, 'That's our 1st gen level. I wasn't here & there's no one here knows anything about a 1st gen, let alone seen one.'
Being a lifelong smartazz, I responded, In that case, it'd be worth it to trade me a new level for this old beauty & use it for training.'
He laughed & asked which model I wanted. I looked up the newest, told him & he added, great, give me your address & I'll throw in a carrying case for it.
THAT is why I suggest MD.
It IS a great tool & I know you'll agree after you use it; faster in/ft & numbers instead of guesses.

GeoD
That truck is NOT a “cement mixer”, it is referred to as a “concrete truck” or more properly as a “ready-mixed concrete truck”. Other than that minor transgression, good video!
Full discretion, I'm 44 & just learned the difference between cement & concrete.
The one that always gets me that everyone gets wrong is they think if it goes "mooo" it's a cow. Not the case.
It does indeed mix "cement" tho...
Actually, it mixes “concrete” of which “cement” is a main ingredient in addition to other ingredients including water, aggregates (sand and gravels), fly ash (reduces the amount of the more expensive cement required), water-reducing admixtures, etc.
Nevertheless, a good video.
Too bad you have whiners worrying about your hair. Last time I checked, this channel wasn't anything at all to do with hairstyle, haircut, short 'n curlies, anything to do with hair.
I like the content. The goofiness is okay, a decent mix of it, and my fave is those straight moments when you get serious, down to business, discussing what you're doing, explaining why.
In life, sometimes shit happens. It's great that some humans have perfected ways of undoing the damage that gets done.
Thanks for doing the dirtywork, and thanks for sharing a look into what you do and how you do it.
For the record, I have above 3 and a half million miles on heavy trucks, and fortunately, the only time any of the trucks I used went on a B-Line, was for wheel alignment. I usually got one done around 400 to 500 thousand.
U make this look easy. I bet it takes a ton of years experience to get as quick as u!!
3:20 my wife has them same knee pads . there called carpet pleaser's .
😂
@@charlenebendon😂
Excellent work, Bendon! Great content!
This was an interesting one for me. I'm a heavy truck mechanic and work for a large cement company so ya of course I have to check it out. Pssst careful around those air tanks. I'm not sure what they are worth down there but I can tell you that up here they are right around 1100$ and depending on how many fittings you need because they are another 500$. I don't know how Mack can justify charging that much. They are a metal tank with a few fitting on them. Especially because you can buy an aftermarket one for right around 100$. Anyway ty for putting this up 👍🇨🇦🔧
Cement or concrete?
@denniseaton8136 I bet u call earth backfill dirt, and not soil. My point being, if ur not in the industry does proper vernacular really matter?
@@lpe655 yes it does. I drove a mixer for nearly 20 years.
We build with concrete. Cement won't make a building or a road without sand, gravel, water and various admixtures.
Im sorry for laughing!🤣😂🤣😂🤣(the whole knee smack) ouch. But still...been there, it hurts. 🤣😂🤣😂🤷🏽♂️im sorry
Omg I can’t help but bust out laughing every time u hit with the hammer
"it's all metric - so it doesn't matter"
Knee pads? Are you playing the part of the Gen Z mechanic?
Good job brother.
this ole boy is like john henry was strong as a bull.
Love the "oh yeah"
Another great job, keep Bendin Bendon 😎🇺🇸🇬🇧👊
entertaining and interesting- liking and subscribing
Glad you said that the San Francisco slippers (Knee pads) were not for sell!!! LOL!!!
Great job on the video
Millimeter? Can you translate that into first on the moon and back to back world war champions measurements.
What’s the fix for the front tire wear? Positive cambered right front?
You're funny, I like watching Your videos
Thanks Brendon, it’s 11pm and your squeaking hammer set off my dog and now she’s squeaking her dog toy 😂
“Some call me the gangsta of love”
love these videos!!
Is that a Bonfig bowl gearbox? asking from Australia, Thanks. Maybe I need a "BOB" at work to help unfuck stuff.
I laugh so hard I forget what I watching 👀. 🤣 🤣 😅😅😅
LMAO all shops listen to classic rock I swear
I listened to soo much I can sing em all;)
I can whistle all of guns and roses just by learning it one note at a time
FYI, both like and dislike button gives you same results. The more people press them and comment, the more people will be shown your videos.
What abt that one with the flag
Thanks for the great content!
@@jasperaj1 thank you for being a subscriber. into continuing to engage in the content, it really makes it all worth it
@@bendinwithbendon no problem, your doing a great job, both on the trucks and the content. As a farmer I have bent one or two things and managed to bend them back more or less. At least some of them. Doing entire trucks however is definitely pretty impressive and damn hard work by the looks of it! 👍👍👍
Im pretty sure the results are concrete 😂 Love your work as always
Cool video
This is a great video. Dooo you dooo any frame restoration? Like 2005 dodge tube frame center tube on both sides needs replacement.
single is more flexible less likely to take a new set , butt straightening it you have to over push it more
Us as diesel mechanics don’t make enough moving heavy crap around and hammering crap all the time
Don’t ever cut your hair Samson.
I don't think there would be anything left to straighten if it came from whistlindiesel
Yep, this☝🏻
Not a damn thing wrong with your hair, they figured out in Nam it made snipers shoot better. Part of spirit goes away when it's cut
I love these videos, every time some liberal girl says they can do ANYTHING a man can do 😅. Just think of Bendin 😊
Hell... even just bob lol he gets right up in there lol
You got some purty fun looking toys you got😅 .
I predict a future of a missing finger tip, a single wide, disability, generics, and a bad limp with a hunched back….. Nah, just kidding, somebody’s gotta do it. But seriously, save your money for an exit strategy. Rock on
Great video. Thank you!
Good job
nice intro Bro, very professional
Love that goat!!!
Ive been saying "toight like a toiger" since i first saw the movie
That would be hilarious if you put Do Not Disturb signs on the bottom of your boots when you put those knee pads on lol
I USED TO RUN A GUYCART 360 STRAIGHTENING OUT HIGH END GERMAN UNIBODIES. VERY SATIFYING WORK...
Holy flatspots batman that tire is cooked
Yeah, but the driver was ridin' it up Dukes-of-Hazzard style for a short time, so..... there's that.....
@@stanpatterson5033 did that truck have a tag axle?
The lost art.. 😂😂
I run Crete truck , hope I never need you to straighten mine, Good Work as Always!!!😊
had a kid take one over on a hairpin corner near me a while back. looked like a puckery ride.
@@kenbrown2808 yikes 😬
@@harryheinrichs8206 worst is we don't have heavy tow in the area. had a poor SWIFT driver once who had to wait three hours for the company to find a tow driver who would take their IOU for a winch-out from a soft shoulder.
