I had the same experience. I remember struggling like nothing else on blood and broken bones a long time ago. Played through on deathmarch more recently and found this fight to be a breeze. Kinda just chocked it up to having a better build or that I've gotten better with the years, but it's possible they changed something.
@@GingerNinja__ ikr! With the right build its breeze. That was actually my first playthrough i didn't even know there's an enraged mode for boss until my friend told me
on first playthrough you won’t use oils, potions, weapon sets, ability proper build, “crit build” etc. having 1000+ damage with 150+- sword seems like just using all legal dam improvement and it’s not easy (only after finishing game on easy/normal, and replaying it 3rd-5th time, understanding mechanic, builds etc.)
@@FlyAchX I do it easily with every playthrough on deathmarch. You can drop his health so fast with whirl that he doesn't get the chance to trigger the teleport mode. Just make sure you keep Geralt fully upgraded.
@@sapta1228 if you're not playing on death march I don't see the point of making a post asking why a boss is so easy. If you're an experienced player this an easy fight regardless of difficulty.

@@FlyAchX Yes you can. If you use it before the last phase he gets demolished
Level 36 and no upscaling will do that
