Marie-Anne, you are our beacon of hope in a world of over judgement. Us ladies are led to believe we are no longer relevant as we age. You give us pride in ourselves, guidance in how to be our best selves and how to show our self worth, for nobody more than ourselves. Fashion appears to be taking a slippery slide into sloppiness. You give us a want to be more and I'm sure we are all grateful for that, I know I certainly am. Thank you for caring. Thank you for your passion to help us. Thank you for your caring tears. Thank you for being you and doing what you do. We love and appreciate you for exactly who you are and how you care for and guide us. I look forward to your videos and you always teach me something new
Hi from Fairfield,Tx. Recently widowed and turning 60 in June. Thanks for encouraging ladies to play in our closets and to inject a bit of color. Much appreciated! I’m starting to feel more joy and less grief. Blessing, ma’am!
I’m 40 and watch your videos for a few years now. I always come to you for advice, there’s no one out there who does it so passionately and thirally touching on many topics that surround us. You’re more than just a fashion expert, you’re our teacher, therapist, mom, sister, everything while supporting us in life when we have no one else. If anything we come to you to see some sunlight from whatever is going on in our heads leaving us feeling more energized, optimistic, and loving towards ourselves and others. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the work that you do! Je vous aime beaucoup! Merci 🌹
Thank you for caring about us Marie-Anne. This video and seeing your reaction to how wonderful you make other ladies feel, means a lot to me. I'm 62 years old, I live in Florida and I'm trying to lose weight. I am a plus-size lady. Right now when I sit down I look like a Chinese Buddha statue. This makes me cry. It makes me feel like why does anyone even talk to me or like me because I look so bad. Your videos have given me hope. Today I'm putting together my first outfit to wear to a baby shower this evening. Thank you for giving me the confidence to look my best.
Bonjour Lisa - you are very welcome ma chère. I hope you have a lovely evening 🤗 I wish you the very best on your weight loss journey - I am always here to help if you need to reach out info@marieannelecoeur.com 😘
@@Rositasparks I agree! Marie Anne is my favorite style expert, and we ladies appreciate such sweet emotion, Marie Anne, we love you all the more for it! Thanks for helping us to bloom! ❤💐
Thank you for showing your vulnerability, such an empowering explanation, your empathy and loving heart shines through. You really do make such a different to so many women who gain self assurance and confidence thru your channel. Thank you kindly ❤❤❤
Yes...me!!😔 Afraid of looking great. Too shy and lacking self confidence, but learning to spread my wings. Thanks Marie-Anne.. 💖🤗Warm regards from your fan Francisca, from Chile! 🐣🐥🐇😀
What a beautiful gathering this was! How much I appreciated the comments, questions, and your wise and compassionate answers, Marie-Anne. How preciously you hold each person and remind all of us who watch to "be loved" be "beloved", to ourselves and to do this for every other. I think this is the highest work anyone can do!
Loved this and you're absolutely right, Marie-Anne. All women deserve to dress well, look and feel amazing regardless their weight, bodyshape, size, age, colour and social status. You look stunning always and loved your scarf ❤
I’m struggling with that now. When I was at my healthy weight, I used to dress beautifully. Due to health issues my activity level changed and I’ve gained a lot of weight so I am 5 feet tall and 160 pounds, a petite plus size and have turned frumpy because of my weight. I need to change my mindset!!!
@@rosemarieprince9738 so sorry about that. It's not your fault. I understand that health issues can be challenging at times since I'm coping with a chronic illness myself but with a positive mindset we can change many things in our favour and Marie-Anne always has the best advice in her videos and books, you always deserve better with love and kindness ⚘
I ,sadly, missed all but the middle of this livestream, but I’ll go back and watch what I missed. I just want to add: we get contradictory, nonsensical style advice from various social media everyday - look intentional, and look effortless! (Our dear Marie-Anne is one of the few we can trust for good style advice!). We can’t be intentional without putting thought into our choices, so I think this is the far more useful and important piece of advice. There aren’t really any effortless looks, anyway, except maybe for the robe or pajamas one wore the night before. I think it’s much better to “look like one made an effort” than to not try to look good, or make no effort at all! Every choice is a conscious one, so why pretend? Trying to dress well is not vain, nor uncomfortable, nor at all about other people’s judgement, it’s about dignity, self-respect, and best of all, the pleasure of feeling we look our best! Styling ourselves is one of the joys of being a woman, enjoy it❤
Marie-Anne I cry with you today! Style is not just for the outside, you clothe yourself in the inside too overcoming negative thoughts and feelings. Thank you so much!
Dear Marie-Anne Your kindness and compassion for others really moved me. Genuine empathy is so rare. And yes so many of us women have had it so hard in this life. I love your videos and I am still working through your collection as I am still relatively new to your channel. Thank you. ❤
This is such an important topic for us American women, who get so much social pressure to dumb-down, homogenize and casualize our style. I hate female-appearance competition and criticism of how others look, dress, etc., some women in my family did that a lot when I was growing up, picking apart every detail of every woman’s look. If I honestly can, this is the only appearance-related comment I ever make to other women: “you look great!”. Qualified comments, like “for your age” are barbed comments, with negative messages. Happily, I do still see some women that I sincerely believe do look great, they are usually the ones who put some thought into what they’re wearing. I get a lot of sarcastic “what are you so dressed-up for?” I’m not, I think they’re too dressed- down for in-public, in their pajamas or gym clothes, but I don’t say so. Dressing well gives me endless pleasure, why deprive myself?
exactly! I recently went for a walk with a friend and her first words were - "why so dressed up? are you going someplace special?" And I said, yes, "I'm meeting my good friend for a walk right now!" - the look on her face when she realized I wasn't kidding - that she was worth the effort as far as I am concerned - priceless! Though lol, i was hardly "dressed up." Dark wash jeans, nice-ish sweater and a belt ;-)
Wonderful livestream with the best message, dear Marie-Anne. I've been following many style channels but narrowed down to just a few keeping the very best. You're a top favourite of mine as you've been helping me improve substantially my wardrobe and self-confidence with the best style advice ever. You're such a beautiful lady and I'm forever grateful. Merci beaucoup for your precious time and dedication 🤗❤
Bonjour Marie-Anne! I'm so sorry I missed you today. First off a big thank you and hugs for you. You have changed my life. I've been going through a not so good time with my husband for years and it has physically aged me. Before I found you I wanted to just blend in with everyone else with dressing hiding myself. Now it makes me happy wearing clothes that I enjoy and don't care if I stand out just because I'm wearing a blazer. I do however have to work on my self confidence on my aging face, I still wear a mask (hides sagging wrinkled face). Listening to this video has given me something to think about and take action loose the mask and wear red lipstick because of you. Love you Marie-Anne 😊
Im shedding tears along with you. Its true we dont know what people are going thru. I try to compliment women on how they look , strangers in a store or on the street. A kind word can make a difference in someones day. I love all your advice. Im starting to wear scarves again!
Marie-Anne: You are the most caring and loving person and that I have the pleasure to come in contact with. You do love to help us “ frenchies ladies” by giving us your advice and expertise in being our own self and being proud of the women that we are by dressing the best learning from you. I was touched, too, by your beautiful and caring tears of gratefulness, I have learned a lot from you! Thank you ! Hugs & love 💕 Noemi
For the majority of my life, I was known for my style. Some girls even hated me for it and for the innate self confidence I had. I was thin (size 0-2)and pretty, with large breasts and a high round derrière. I had over 200 pair of shoes and dressing up was one of my greatest joys. And then after an operation, menopause hit and I suddenly started to gain weight. The first 15 pounds, I was absolutely thrilled with because I felt so womanly. After that,it became a problem. And the pounds kept piling on until I didn’t who I was anymore. So here I am, almost 73 and 80 pounds overweight. Ironically I have a stunning wardrobe and enough beautiful jewelry to open my own store. I think I’ve finally hit bottom. I can’t stand the way I look. I wear dirty wrinkled clothes around the house and only leave to buy groceries. I decided a few days ago to sit down and take complete stock of my environment (which is also a mess) and my appearance. I cannot believe that if I begin to put in the work that I won’t reclaim my feminine energy. So I want to thank you for inspiring me to become My Self again. I have written you before about my huge collection of pearls. I start my new program on Monday. I have joined a gym and made a mani/pedi appointment. Merci, ma chere Amie! I will keep you apprised of my progress.
Read about Keto to break insulin resistance. It regulates your hormon system and you will lose some weight and get the strengths to declutter . So you get back your joy with low effort.
All my best to you! I would agree with keto or something that sends a bit of a shock to the system. You will *feel* better. Also, try to get into the root cause of why you find yourself in that state; why it started and why it's continued. I think it happens a lot to us women that our identity is very tied to the way we look, and when that changes, we suddenly lose ourselves. Not saying you're shallow or vain. Also, aside from exercise, look for something to do that really fills you. Embrace your value as someone creative, mature, experienced and beautiful.
Looking good is my hallmark and has always been. Even when I am at home, I like to look good. I hate, hate, hate frumpy clothing. It makes you feel frumpy.
Thank you so much for all of your advice on style but also on personal growth and well-being. I am in my 50’s now and thought I knew enough about dressing myself but I have learned so much from you! I feel like I want to make significant wardrobe changes now, based on your videos over the past few years a well as your current livestreams. You are making an important difference in my life and helping me to feel more confident about myself with the way I’m presenting myself to others. Your suggestion to journal and think about the ‘why’ behind our style and wardrobe choices is something I never thought of doing. I am also an introvert and I was a writer for my career so this will be a wonderful way for me to continue to grow and learn-thank you! You are delightfully positive and encouraging. I pray many blessings for you!
Yes, you are right! I did not remember a very important thing you stress over and over again in you videos. IF IT IS NOT A WOW IT IS A NO!!!!! ****Note to myself***** Happy Easter, God Bless you and yours and everyone!!!!🎉❤😊
Hi Marie Anne This year, my 75th, I emigrated from the UK to Australia, joined several organisations to make new friends and found YOU!! I cried along with you, as you realised how many women you have helped! I have started my new life with confidence in what I wear, although I make mistakes- but my style journal reminds me of what suits me and your amazing advice! Keep up the good work- I love it!!!! Jxx
Hello Marie-Anne from Coeur d Alene, Idaho!💕 Folks always ask me where I’ve been or where I’m going because they think I’m attending an event. It’s the way I dress most EVERYDAY! I get both positive and negative responses but not stopping me from enjoying myself and my clothing which is a classic traditional style….. nothing shocking. Thank you Marie-Anne I watch you ALL the time💕💕
I can attest to the idea that the way we dress can be life changing and help us through difficult and heartbreaking times. During the lowest point in my life, while I was struggling to keep going on with life, one of the things that kept me afloat was making myself dress well. It was one of the only things left that gave me any joy and I think it reminded me that I wasn't worthless, despite my constant thoughts telling me that I was. It was the tread that kept me tethered to the ability to retain some respect for myself. Thank you for your work and for your inspiration ❤
This is a perfect topic Marie-Anne. I fall into this trap daily. When I was working, we dressed up for the office and I always felt chic. But now in retirement, and living outside of a major City for the first time, I have gone frumpy. No one dresses up and I don't want to be out of place. I have also gotten lazy and that's on me. I have to find a "happy medium" and want to re-up my style.
Thank you so much Marie-Anne I’m one of those women whose life has been changed by you. I’m not rushing away from the mirror anymore, until I find something that makes me feel amazing if not close. You said just take time in front of the mirror and try your clothes in different ways and now I don’t feel bad for spending a bit more time on the mirror to try different looks. Thank you so much you are the real deal ❤❤❤🙏🏾🙏🏾
Marie-Anne, I originally put up a post bemoaning my crazy hair as it undermines my confidence. I deleted it however. Instead... you can't change my hair and I can only try to learn acceptance but it is thanks to you that I have "grown up" in regards to my clothes and how I dress. Your genuine wish to help other women comes through in all your videos. Thank you, you're an incredible soul.
Hello from Toronto. Dear Marie-Anne, I started watching your videos about 6 weeks ago. I love your advice and your attitude! You have helped me to develop better style, and better confidence with your advice. I shopped my closet and started looking at my clothes in a new way. It's great to listen to your advice, I am in my 50s and see my body changing so it helps to dress with keeping a vision in mind. Merci!
The west-coast of Canada is as casual as it gets - but what I've been noticing lately is that not *everyone* is happy dressing in lululemons, gore-tex jackets and runners all the time. I feel like some of my friends and colleagues are just looking for an ally ..... e.g., "hey are you wearing a dress tomorrow? If you will I will," etc. So, why not just go for it? Grab the tailored trousers, silk scarf, beautiful blazer or whatever it is you love - and wear those pieces no matter what everyone else is doing - you never know who'll be grateful to you for blazing a path for them!
A way to build up confidence is to find your body shape, find your own style and core colours. Gradually build up a collection of clothes you love, that compliment each other and make you feel good. You get to know yourself by doing this, you know you look good and your confidence grows. I learned this from your utubes Marie-Anne, thankyou!!!
MarieAnne ❤❤❤🎉😊 You are a TREASURE TROVE of priceless information to help a woman be her best every step of the way along the path of self improvement!!!!
At 73+ years old, and a widow learning a new lifestyle, I have come to realize that actually, people don't even look at me, nor care what I wear. Consequently, through watching your videos (which I really enjoy!) I am learning to simply play with my clothes and to wear what I enjoy with a little more confidence. I am also slowly applying what recommendations you offer for individual pieces, as well as getting rid of what is really not flattering in MY eyes. Slowly, I am becoming a little more, should I admit, daring with my combinations. :o) Thank you. You are lovely and your genuineness is evident. I am going to dig out my red lipstick and retry wearing it this weekend. A long distant fan from Texas
Bonjour Kaye and welcome 🤗 I am so glad you are feeling your way into this new phase of your style journey 😃 take it a little at a time and never hesitate to reach out 😘
A very enjoyable session of people sharing their thoughts and feelings about style. You are so sincerely caring and intuitive about our concerns. We all appreciate you .
There is a big surprise for you tonight Minka when you watch my new video - I hope you enjoy it and will share it with all your friends and my many followers in Germany 😘
Marie-Anne I'm so enjoying these live streams. I go back and re-listen to them. You are helping me so much with your tips and advice that I'm putting into practice. Thank you for all you are doing. I'm so touched by your happy tears and your heart for ladies. Happy tears with you.
Chère Marie-Anne, votre vidéo m'a fait du bien. J' écoute en différé souvent. Chaque fois, j'en retire quelque chose. Votre authenticité me donne confiance en vous. Merci d'être là pour nous toutes.
Marie-Anne, you have encouraged, inspired and educated me on having style. I have decluttered my closet and bureau. I donated two contractor bags of clothes to charity! I bought a beige trench coat and am building a capsule wardrobe. I keep getting compliments for looking stylish. Thank you.🙏❤️🙏❤️
I'm 34 and I really love your videos. I have always hidden myself away in frumpy, oversized clothing. I actually really love fashion and I've decided to slowly update my wardrobe over the past year. The final hurdle is now getting up the courage to wear it all - you are helping me with that. Thank you so much for your content. P.S. I really like the colours you are wearing today.
Bonjour Emily - take it one stage at a time. Dress up in your lovely clothes around the house, then venture out into you local street, then go around the block, then go to the local shop. This builds up your confidence and gets you used to being out and about 🤗 let me know how you get on x
Marie-Anne, thank you for explaining that when trying to look fresh and youthful one needs to look modern. I am like the person whose comment you read that does not want to dress too young for fear of looking like I am trying too hard. What you said was perfect and really helps!❤😁 I also have to say I am very grateful that you exist and for your big heart which enables you to be there for all of us in more ways that one. Hugs to you and keep on doing what you are doing. I so look forward to your content when I log into youtube. You are a bright spot in my day. And, I especially love when you crack yourself up in your videos. It makes me laugh, too, and makes me feel better when I am having an off day. You have become a friend over the years and if I lived near you, I would invite you to meet for coffee.
Always wonderful to see and hear your positivity. As we all know the aging process is inevitable. I try to keep smiling when possible then I don’t notice the wrinkles so much. 🥴 You’ve just hit the nail on the head about people start improving their own appearance when you dress to a standard you believe is expected for the situation. I only had this conversation with my son who was critical of me for trying to introduce this attitude towards his daughter. It has always worked for me and given me more opportunities. I hope in time she will learn and develop her own style by using your principles. My thanks always. Sally.
I recently stumbled across your other channel and was wowed by the many hats you wear. What a beautiful person you are! Thank you for sharing so much of yourself.
You're such a beautiful person for doing this! I have experienced people who say things like 'where are you going' but they don't understand the power of personal style. Often it has been the one thing that holds me together in some life chapters. So I am learning to take pity on people who say these things. I am grateful for all your sharing, so inspiring and uplifting!! ❤❤❤
Dear Marie-Anne thank you - your videos have really helped me - I have been able to begin to make positive changes to the way I dress. I have even named one of my hens in honour of you! Wishing you a happy and peaceful Easter 🙏 🐣 xxx
This is such a heartfelt video. I once started a new job at a tech company to manage a new group. I wore clothes from my previous job (a tailored, belted shirtdress, knee-length, stockings, low heels). A female manager stopped me in the hall after I'd been there a few weeks and told me, "women don't wear dresses here, they wear jeans." I was speechless, but mumbled, "then, I need to buy jeans after my first paycheck." She set the tone for how the women in the company treated me, and it wasn't kind, it was gossipy. I like to look put together, but not flashy. I've always loved blazers. At 70, I still prefer basics, and I've learned so much from you about using opposites and proportion to improve my style. I wear feminine tops with my jeans and trouser-styles. Since I'm retired (and an artist and enjoy creativity) I find putting "looks" together from my existing clothes is a mood-booster and I'm so pleased with my results. Yet -- however good the outfit on me, I still think of that woman judging me for being neat and put together.
Bonjour, I am so sorry you had a such a negative experience. Please do not let it prevent you from standing out in your style in this new phase of your style journey - you will get nothing but praise from the community here 😃
Hello, Marie-Anne Lecoeur, I enjoy your clips very much. It give me a lot of better insperations in my wardrobe. Thanks a lot. Please take more following clips. It is so wonderful having the correct clothing.😍
On a most possible note, periodically I join my gal pal who works at the local community college for their luncheon program. They usually have different country meal themes, so I dress accordingly.
I’m 37 but I always watch your videos and livestreams and I take some of your advice that are applicable to my age. I feel like you are my “style mother”, so to speak. We had a meeting I wore a blazer over a white t-shirt and jeans and paired it with Chanel style shoes with kitten heels and I’ve never felt so confident in my life. I unintentionally looked better than my boss😂
Bonjour Haya - indeed my advice is for all ages although my main demographic is over 50 😃 I suppose it is natural with me being over 60 😃 I am glad you are finding value here 😘
Dear Marie -Anne Thank you so much for all your help and it boosts my confidence I am 71 and love to take care of myself I am from Sandton Gauteng South Africa
When I worked on my basic self confidence many years ago I realized I needed to change the tape in my head and repeat it throughout the day. Later on I learned about tapping and use a little if that .
I missed the livestream but watched later. Thanks for helping me for all these years. I love this! What stood out to me the most is the importance of showing kindness to others. ❤
You have a heart of gold. So endearing. I really connect with you. TH-cam can bring out a lot of trolls and mean comments. I’m glad you are receiving those good comments from people that make you tear up. I hope you never have to deal with mean comments. You only deserve the best. I love this channel not only because of the subject matter, but also because of your personality. Bravo! You are awesome 😎
I have a couple of really great outfits that make me look amazing. If I'm going to a party and want to look my best I will wear one of the outfits and get lots of compliments. At 67 years old that makes me happy.
Sorry I missed the live stream. I was told that I over dress . I agree with you it is best to look your best. I’m just not a frumpy hoodie and leggings. After listening to you I am encouraged to dress the way that makes me feel good. Thanks for the encouragement.
Ive made a cup of tea and cant wait to listen to this one. I absolutely have a fear of looking better! Mostly Im afraid of looking like I tried to hard (in New Zealand we call it Tall Poppy Syndrome) and even worse, looking like I tried AND FAILED!
This was SUCH a good topic and a therapy! I just don't care what people think about my style. I also live in the countryside where casual style is dominant. When someone looks good I think he/she took the time to look nice. I developed a funny habit, when I am at a conference that turns out not to be very interesting I look at people's clothes and choose "Best dressed".😂😂😂
I love this!!!!! I am sitting on train and just decided to put on red lipstick right there and I can feel the confidence boost from not caring about what people would think!
Hi Marie-Anne, hope you are well. I have been watching on the TV, so don't get a chance to leave a comment. :) When I lived in London, I always dressed and looked professional for work. Since I have moved to the South Coast, people dress more casually, even sloppy. I don't dress the same, but I like to look smart. I also work from home, and as I think with everyone, it can be difficult to get motivated to dress up if no one else can appreciate it. My go to outfit are a pair of jeans, t-shirt with shirt or Cashmere top in the winter. I also have dogs and do a lot of walking, so although I like to wear nice shoes or sandals I mostly wear walking shoes or trainers. I have updated my wardrobe since watching your channel and ditched a lot of items that weren't doing me any favors and replaced them with simple staples. So thank you for that. I think if someone makes an effort with make up and hair, it makes everything else look better. I have a real problem finding casual dresses, so don't have that many and I mainly wear trousers. I do think everyone should try to look their best as we are part of someone else's environment, but it is most important not to be judgemental about what people wear. Some people just don't know how to dress or they feel so bad about themselves that they just want to cover up, which is what I used to do. I will be holidaying your way in June and as I will be camping in our campervan, will have a very limited wardrobe. The main thing we are doing is cycling, so wearing white trainers and dresses will be out for the day, though they will be packed. I will be color coordinated with my navy and white. It is difficult to look elegant when wearing hiking trousers and a bike helmet! I'm bringing a dress in case we go out in the evening. I should really live on a farm, would make wardrobe choices easier sometimes!
Mare-Anne, thank you so much for this video. I wasn't able to see it live but watched it last night. You have really inspired me with examples of style, whether as a person or with clothes. Since watching your videos, my perspective on what I wear has undergone some major changes. I know I'm not beautiful, or even pretty, but if I wear clothes that make me feel that way, then I am! If that makes sense. I have watched another TH-cam channel by a Frenchwoman. She comes across as snobbish and condescending, especially toward Americans. Forget that! Anyway, I will keep watching as long as you keep on going.
Bonjour Susan I am so glad you have found inspiration here 😃 that is exactly what I hope to provide - that and a safe space for you to explore your style and maybe add a little authentic French Chic here and there 😘 I will keep going as long ass people are watching 🤗
Sorry Marie-Anne. I missed the live as always. and it will perhaps always be the case living in Australia. Great video and very important topic. My fear in age 70 is, do I were dresses which are too 'young' for me. My hemline has always been a short, of course with age it has dropped to the knee. Sometimes I wonder if it still ok, but with this very hot and humid summer, and having tanned legs, when I look at the mirror it still looks okay. So I'm continue with the knee hight still and I feel comfortable. with longer dresses I feel too 'closed' and there's like too much of fabric touching my legs. I don't know if this makes any sense . With the colors I'm totally with you and I think a white skirt with mariniere shirt is quite okay in summer even with knee height. You give us ladies great advice, so thank you, we are so happy to have you in our lives.
It’s difficult at times but l think you need to be yourself. What you want to wear and like seeing in the mirror. Very often others are jealous and envy you ..
Hi , I'm from London. So glad that you're discussing this topic.I like to look good and make an effort. I appreciate seeing others look good too. However I feel awkward when I stand out too much.
Marie-Anne, you are our beacon of hope in a world of over judgement. Us ladies are led to believe we are no longer relevant as we age. Bonjour Julijana and thank you for your lovely message - I appreciate your kind words so very much 🙏
Thank you for caring about us Marie-Anne. This video and seeing your reaction to how wonderful you make other ladies feel, means a lot to me.
Happy tears are never something you need to apologize for. Compassion is something the world needs more of.

I am watching this a few days later and I was so touched . Marie Anne you are a precious treasure. ❤

🤗
Bonjour Rosemarie - you will love my video coming Sunday especially for Petites and Petite Plus Size 😃
Styling ourselves is one of the joys of being a woman, enjoy it❤
Wise words Kimberly - if you aren't en-joying your style you are doing it wrong 😃
Marie-Anne I cry with you today! Style is not just for the outside, you clothe yourself in the inside too overcoming negative thoughts and feelings. Thank you so much!
🤗
Dear Marie-Anne
Your kindness and compassion for others really moved me. Genuine empathy is so rare. And yes so many of us women have had it so hard in this life. I love your videos and I am still working through your collection as I am still relatively new to your channel. Thank you. ❤
Merci JJ I appreciate your support 🤗
Well done you👍❤
Right on the money, Sister!
More excellent words of wisdom Kimberly - merci 🤗
Wonderful livestream with the best message, dear Marie-Anne. I've been following many style channels but narrowed down to just a few keeping the very best. You're a top favourite of mine as you've been helping me improve substantially my wardrobe and self-confidence with the best style advice ever. You're such a beautiful lady and I'm forever grateful. Merci beaucoup for your precious time and dedication 🤗❤
You are very welcome AW and thank you for your continued support 🤗
Oh Marie-Anne happy tears ...why not, showing your inner self in front of us, makes me appreciate you even more. Love you so much.
🤗😘
Yes to the power of M.A. and red lipstick. ❤
That is wonderful to hear Chirp Chirp - I am sure your courage will grow as your style journey unfolds 🤗
@MarieAnneLecoeur Thank you Marie-Anne, it's because of you. Have a blessed Easter with your family.
Im shedding tears along with you. Its true we dont know what people are going thru.
I try to compliment women on how they look , strangers in a store or on the street.
A kind word can make a difference in someones day. I love all your advice. Im starting to wear scarves again!
🙏
Marie-Anne: You are the most caring and loving person and that I have the pleasure to come in contact with.
You do love to help
us “ frenchies ladies” by giving us your advice and expertise in being our own self and being proud of the women that we are by dressing the best learning from you.
I was touched, too, by your beautiful and caring tears of gratefulness,
I have learned a lot from you! Thank you !
Hugs & love 💕 Noemi
Merci for your support Noemi 🙏
That is wonderful Jezebelle - I wish you all the very best on this new phase of your style journey 😃👏
Yes indeed Leslie 👍
Style Journalling will really help you through your whole life Lisa you will be amazed at the differences that occur 😘
Yes, you are right! I did not remember a very important thing you stress over and over again in you videos. IF IT IS NOT A WOW IT IS A NO!!!!!
****Note to myself*****
Happy Easter, God Bless you and yours and everyone!!!!🎉❤😊
👏 and Happy Easter to you too Happy
Hi Marie Anne This year, my 75th, I emigrated from the UK to Australia, joined several organisations to make new friends and found YOU!! I cried along with you, as you realised how many women you have helped! I have started my new life with confidence in what I wear, although I make mistakes- but my style journal reminds me of what suits me and your amazing advice! Keep up the good work- I love it!!!! Jxx
Merci J 🤗 keep up with the style journaling 😃
Hello Marie-Anne from Coeur d Alene, Idaho!💕
Folks always ask me where I’ve been or where I’m going because they think I’m attending an event.
It’s the way I dress most EVERYDAY! I get both positive and negative responses but not stopping me from enjoying myself and my clothing which is a classic traditional style….. nothing shocking.
Thank you Marie-Anne I watch you ALL the time💕💕
Stand out in your style Kerri 👏
You enrich the lives of so many around the world: thank you for being yoursef
🙏
I can attest to the idea that the way we dress can be life changing and help us through difficult and heartbreaking times. During the lowest point in my life, while I was struggling to keep going on with life, one of the things that kept me afloat was making myself dress well. It was one of the only things left that gave me any joy and I think it reminded me that I wasn't worthless, despite my constant thoughts telling me that I was. It was the tread that kept me tethered to the ability to retain some respect for myself. Thank you for your work and for your inspiration ❤
I am so glad you found that Style gave you the confidence you needed KG - it truly is a way to self care and self help 🙏
You are in the right place Christie 😃
Thank you so much Marie-Anne I’m one of those women whose life has been changed by you. I’m not rushing away from the mirror anymore, until I find something that makes me feel amazing if not close. You said just take time in front of the mirror and try your clothes in different ways and now I don’t feel bad for spending a bit more time on the mirror to try different looks. Thank you so much you are the real deal ❤❤❤🙏🏾🙏🏾
Merci Angela that is very kind of you 🤗
For the record/ we love ❤️ you, Ms. Marie~ Anne : again: we love ❤️ you { world 🌎 wide} : bless
Merci Gill 🤗 accepting of yourself is a bug step towards style confidence 😃
Being emotional with happy tears is one of the things that make us human and loving.
🙏
You have a great voice-very engaging and lively! I also love your choice of words and expressions. Uniquely you and just wonderful.
Merci 🤗
Hello from Toronto. Dear Marie-Anne, I started watching your videos about 6 weeks ago. I love your advice and your attitude! You have helped me to develop better style, and better confidence with your advice. I shopped my closet and started looking at my clothes in a new way. It's great to listen to your advice, I am in my 50s and see my body changing so it helps to dress with keeping a vision in mind. Merci!
I am so glad my channel resonates with you Marilena 😃
I hope the feeling spreads Sparklie 😃
A way to build up confidence is to find your body shape, find your own style and core colours. Gradually build up a collection of clothes you love, that compliment each other and make you feel good. You get to know yourself by doing this, you know you look good and your confidence grows. I learned this from your utubes Marie-Anne, thankyou!!!
You have learned well J Cait 😃
Bless you Marie Anne you are a lovely person inside and out. You have found what you are meant to do! God Bess you
🙏
MarieAnne ❤❤❤🎉😊
You are a TREASURE TROVE of priceless information to help a woman be her best every step of the way along the path of self improvement!!!!
🤗
Merci Denise 🙏
Beautiful comment

Marie-Anne I'm so enjoying these live streams. I go back and re-listen to them. You are helping me so much with your tips and advice that I'm putting into practice. Thank you for all you are doing. I'm so touched by your happy tears and your heart for ladies. Happy tears with you.
I am so glad you are enjoying them Nicky. It is lovely to spend more time with my French Chic Ladies and answer their questions 🙏
Chère Marie-Anne, votre vidéo m'a fait du bien. J' écoute en différé souvent. Chaque fois, j'en retire quelque chose. Votre authenticité me donne confiance en vous. Merci d'être là pour nous toutes.

Aloha from Honolulu. At 85 I still enjoy your videos. Merci

Marie-Anne, cette vidéo est magnifique. Merci. Vive la confiance!❤️

I always look as “done up” as I want to. Its a Big part of self Care for me.

I dont judge based on clothes ect. But I Like looking my best.
Marie-Anne, you have encouraged, inspired and educated me on having style. I have decluttered my closet and bureau. I donated two contractor bags of clothes to charity! I bought a beige trench coat and am building a capsule wardrobe. I keep getting compliments for looking stylish. Thank you.🙏❤️🙏❤️
Yayyyy Karen 😃 let me know how you get on x
Much love from North East England 🤗❤
Marie-Anne, thank you for explaining that when trying to look fresh and youthful one needs to look modern. I am like the person whose comment you read that does not want to dress too young for fear of looking like I am trying too hard. What you said was perfect and really helps!❤😁
I also have to say I am very grateful that you exist and for your big heart which enables you to be there for all of us in more ways that one.
You are very welcome 😃 it just shows how we all have very similar issues and can learn from each other 🙏
Always wonderful to see and hear your positivity. As we all know the aging process is inevitable. I try to keep smiling when possible then I don’t notice the wrinkles so much. 🥴
You’ve just hit the nail on the head about people start improving their own appearance when you dress to a standard you believe is expected for the situation. I only had this conversation with my son who was critical of me for trying to introduce this attitude towards his daughter.
It has always worked for me and given me more opportunities. I hope in time she will learn and develop her own style by using your principles. My thanks always. Sally.
You are very welcome Sally 😘 keep smiling 😃
Very touching Marie-Anne. You truely touch our lives
🙏
I’m so thankful to find you and thank you for what you’re doing for the people specially middle aged ladies! ❤❤❤
That is very kind of you Loli, merci 🙏
I recently stumbled across your other channel and was wowed by the many hats you wear. What a beautiful person you are! Thank you for sharing so much of yourself.
You are very welcome 😘
Growing up I was shy because I "felt" that kids were making fun of me due to my petite size. Years later I realized that they were jealous.
❤ I think my comment relates a lot to yours.
@@AliceGamble-e5o Please reshare your previous post as I never saw it. Great that we have something in common -- in a good way.
Indeed so Ms B- you will love my video coming Sunday especially for Petites (and Petite Plus Size)
love your lip color here, wow
You're such a beautiful person for doing this! I have experienced people who say things like 'where are you going' but they don't understand the power of personal style. Often it has been the one thing that holds me together in some life chapters. So I am learning to take pity on people who say these things. I am grateful for all your sharing, so inspiring and uplifting!! ❤❤❤
🤗
Dear Marie-Anne thank you - your videos have really helped me - I have been able to begin to make positive changes to the way I dress. I have even named one of my hens in honour of you! Wishing you a happy and peaceful Easter 🙏 🐣 xxx
How lovely merci Helen 🐓 merci
Suggestion for the future: how about doing a video on hair style do's and don'ts for women over 50.
I did one a long time ago Ms B maybe it is time for an update!
Ohhh yes please
@@MarieAnneLecoeur Please provide the link and I'll revisit and comment.
Glad you are getting inspiration Susanne 😃
On a most possible note, periodically I join my gal pal who works at the local community college for their luncheon program. They usually have different country meal themes, so I dress accordingly.
I’m 37 but I always watch your videos and livestreams and I take some of your advice that are applicable to my age. I feel like you are my “style mother”, so to speak. We had a meeting I wore a blazer over a white t-shirt and jeans and paired it with Chanel style shoes with kitten heels and I’ve never felt so confident in my life. I unintentionally looked better than my boss😂
Bonjour Haya - indeed my advice is for all ages although my main demographic is over 50 😃 I suppose it is natural with me being over 60 😃 I am glad you are finding value here 😘
Happy and glad to join you during my lunchtime.
Merci Ms B x
Dear Marie -Anne Thank you so much for all your help and it boosts my confidence I am 71 and love to take care of myself I am from Sandton Gauteng South Africa
I am very glad you find your confidence increasing Winkie 😃 it is the magic of authentic French Chic 😘
When I worked on my basic self confidence many years ago I realized I needed to change the tape in my head and repeat it throughout the day. Later on I learned about tapping and use a little if that .
Tapping/EFT is a wonderful tool Denise - I am a trained Stress Practitioner using EFT 😃
I missed the livestream but watched later. Thanks for helping me for all these years. I love this! What stood out to me the most is the importance of showing kindness to others. ❤
Kindness is much needed these days Therese 🙏
You have a heart of gold. So endearing. I really connect with you. TH-cam can bring out a lot of trolls and mean comments. I’m glad you are receiving those good comments from people that make you tear up. I hope you never have to deal with mean comments. You only deserve the best. I love this channel not only because of the subject matter, but also because of your personality. Bravo! You are awesome 😎
Merci Sandra - sadly I do have to cope with mean and quite nasty comments on occasion 🙁 but they are far outweighed by the good and the kind 🤗
I needed this today ❤
🙏 Hope it helps Patricia x
Thank you ❤️ so much you are an amazing lady x

I have a couple of really great outfits that make me look amazing. If I'm going to a party and want to look my best I will wear one of the outfits and get lots of compliments. At 67 years old that makes me happy.

Sorry I missed the live stream. I was told that I over dress . I agree with you it is best to look your best. I’m just not a frumpy hoodie and leggings.
After listening to you I am encouraged to dress the way that makes me feel good.
Thanks for the encouragement.
You are very welcome Thelma 😃 I would much rather set the bar too high than too low 👍
Ive made a cup of tea and cant wait to listen to this one. I absolutely have a fear of looking better! Mostly Im afraid of looking like I tried to hard (in New Zealand we call it Tall Poppy Syndrome) and even worse, looking like I tried AND FAILED!
I hope it helped Chrishellize 😘
Marie - Anne you are wonderful woman you are changing my life too. ❤❤❤

😃👍
I enjoy learning from your expertise in styling myself. Thanks so much❤
You are very welcome Ann x
Happy Easter to you and your family! ❤
And to you and yours Rose 😃🙏
I love this!!!!! I am sitting on train and just decided to put on red lipstick right there and I can feel the confidence boost from not caring about what people would think!
Yes! ❤😊

I totally agree on making an effort as part of one's social conscience to others Arlene 👏 I hope you gave an enjoyable trip
Trust your style gut Tuija if it looks okay to you it probably is 😘
