I just ordered this. I had it delivered to the store, even though there is free delivery to the house. Reason is, I will slide it off the truck using ramps, but then I'll use the truck to get the top onto the base. One disadvantage to having no friends.

I feel ya man. Learning how to build and do things solo is a true task in itself!

Good call. We’ll worth the $60. Next time I will do the same.

Great vid! On your big long middle drawer is the handle attached to anything in the middle of it? I just got one of these and the middle of the handle for the big drawer is bolted to a piece of gray metal, but that isn't attached to anything. I think I got a defect, but I was trying to see how yours was.

Yes, your right. Check out CHUNKYBOWSER's comments below. It is a defect. Sounds like you can get a new drawer sent to you but it might be defective too. I have not tried yet. But certainly a rivet or bolt would fix it.

I hope you can answer my question. I just got this box, and the widest
drawer has a center support/hinge for the handle. Is your support welded
to the inside of the drawer? Mine is just loose and if I wiggle the
handle is rubs against the inside of the drawer and scrapes off the
    powdercoat.

Sorry it took so long.. Yes, the center support for the long drawer has no weld on it. I was wondering why the handle flexed so much. I think I will put a rivet through to secure it. Not sure I want to try and return it at this point. Would be cool if they would send a new drawer. I am going to look into it.
Anyone looking at these chests, be sure to check that center support, open the drawer to see it. It is in the center of the drawer and supports the locking handle.

@@jeepsolo7218 I actually had a replacement drawer shipped, and it wasn't welded either. Looks like that's how they're building them. Big oversight. I put a rivet through it with JB weld and it's a lot more sturdy now.

This is like a description of an unboxing video, if you had actually made an unboxing video.

How you like it so far?

    • @jeepsolo7218

I like it a lot. I upgraded from a tiny 36” craftsman. I do need labels on the outside because I’m still getting used to where things are and have to open 3-4 drawers before I find what I’m looking for. I’m very happy with it, I added some HarborFreight magnetic attachments like paper towel and spray can holder for my wd40 and penetrating oil. Also use the usb for my phone and installed an Alexa show on top for music and news.
Not sure why I waited 20 years to have a real tool chest.

Yours actually is a 52 inch box not a 56 inch.

Thanks for the reply. I think the 52" only has 4 wheels. The 56" has 6 wheels. I did double check my receipt and box. I think the 56" is accurate.

@@jeepsolo7218 My Husky 52" is medium heavy Duty in red powder coated with these plastic corners. These ate rivited now. Thanks god cuz i saw one toolbox Video where the owner complained about that they come loose as his box only had them glued on. Anyway yours looka exactly like mine that's why I assumed it hS the same width. The 52" also has 6 wheels. 4 swivelS and 2 straight. I love mine. Finally after years i fpund the right price/quality one.
