why are you saying that the female voice that talks to Arthur is Mag, what evidence is there?
@@alejandrobarboza2431You can hear Aoi use mag's 1 in the trailer
@@raptorvenom7983 i didn't even noticed that, good catch
Judging by the barrel thats Ak 74
I've always been surprised you haven't been promoting yourself more for years, so yeah 👏🏻
I actually think the reason Arthur passed out is that the infestation is in his bio suit and is slowly eating away at him. It reminds me of the Umbra scene in the hospital bed, where he's conscious and able to play komi but has bouts of sickness then passes out. Also don't believe that we Tenno going into the Vessel in Deimos transitions to 1999 but other content in Whispers in the Wall update. 1999 will be a later expansion. Just my opinion though.
My current theory is; Arthur is OUR excal, actually, wait... Ai had Mag's abilities potentially so...
Change to theory, Arthur is our Excal, Ai our Mag, and an unnamed third hero is our Volt, depending on which we started with. I've had a running theory that "The events of dark sector happened roughtly, a couple thousand years ago, and so this is the start of 'The tennocyte virus'." and thusly, his suit is slowly transforming him into a warframe. (Much like it was trying to Hayden in Dark Sector.)
@@KingTaltia Warframe was made on the premise of Dark Sector, however I don't believe they are actually connected. Imagine DS as the concept but Warframe is a separate series based on some of the ideas present in DS. The idea of a technovirus or infestation fits with what we saw in 1999, pretty sure that you're onto something with a 3rd potential Volt hero also.
I like to think that we will see how the infestation started as a void construct that escaped along WAlbrecht, which might also explain why the adults aboard the Zariman were affected and lost their minds attacking anything and everything. Maybe we will get more on why we as Tenno, void devils, can calm the mind of the infestation. Just some theories.
not gonna lie i lowkey do not vibe with the theory that we are seeing the start of warframes and the infested in the year 1999 because that would mean that tech in the warframe universe did not evolve enough in the thousands of years between 1999 and the old war
@@zekieff warframe is based on dark sector demo from e3, not to be confused with dark sector the game , and dark sector the game is also based on that demo, but it seems like elements from it ae coming back, but not in the way people think
@@steeks9132 It did though, those old computers all the way to the biotech that makes up the Sentients, the founding of Oro or even Kuva. I believe that the infestation is likely what pushed the growth of technology. So hard disagree with your stance but that's just my opinion. Appreciate your thoughts though.

Warframe 1999 is the past where the radiation wars (nuclear wars) start. Albrecht says this in Necralisk at Xata “It began long before our light-coil thinkers, our radiation wars, our oil, smoke.”
One of the “normal” Zariman quiz tablets also offhandedly mentions an Eighteenth Radiation War, so there was at least 18 nuclear wars prior to the fall of the Orokin Empire
That’s a lot of fucking nuclear war
@@hambor12 ya and one of there was 1999
I believe the nuclear wars lead to the formation of what we know as the orokin empire, pretty much a transition from regular society to culty empire stuff
@@hambor12Well if you think that Warframe is inspired by Warhammer universe then i'd say 18 is not enough lol
So 1999 is where their reality branches off from "our" reality.
On their own Channel, DE described 1999 as the Tenno going back into their past to unravel mysteries and understand Albrecht Entrati’s motives. I’m curious to see how it goes
When we picked up the grimoire, Loid said, "It's reading you!" That's when I thought we went into Excal's memories, all the way back to Arthur.
Considering Warframe takes place many thousands of years into the future, it wouldn't make sense for our Excalibur to actually be Arthur himself. He'd be too ancient
@the_infinexos Or it looks at the past of the object in question. For example, Not just it at its singular history, its very inception.

Relevant only if you can't choose a warframe for this quest. It could be strange, if book will read excal's memories from nidus.
so happy they made an entire expansion just for the year I was born, so thoughtful
oh no wonders why it looks so terrible then.

The vessle thing and 1999 are probably not connected by the transition, I think it was just a transition otherwise they would have showed the entire quest
might have been for just showing off at tennocon but either way it looks awesome
i agree bc when they show the orb vallis gameplay for the first time and the end started the railjack gameplay trailer
Just like the transition from the railjack demo to the Duviri preview all those years ago. Neither that transition or the Duviri scene with the cavalry Dax were in the final game update, but it allowed DE to preview both of them in the same demo.
@@TacticalPotatoit was just to show off. They’ve done it before
Honestly I like those tennocon style transitions between updates
There is something more. When you are walking to where Albritch is entombed, there is a moment where a train pops ot an in to some sort of portal.
I don't know what are the implications of it, but for sure is some void fuckery.
All aboard the void train!
From the train being a defence (you pass it, then you discover the Sleeper) to Arthur waking up in a train station (where you meet an the Technocyte virus and Wally) it really is some void fuckery, train and simple.

This is the best game ever made..
Sure it has it faults, but the sheer imagination the leaps the devs take with this game is simply incredible
That's some low standards
if by "sheer imagination" you mean the head of yasuo from league of legend glued on an excalibur skin, Albercht wearing the outfit of Jotaro from Jojo bizzare's adventure and the use of counter strike Gmod skins/assets with gameplay of dead rising, it's pure imagination indeed, simply incredible.
Stop being overly impressed by everything shown to you when you are actually taken as a fool like a naive little kid that is shown Santa Claus. Arthur, the first Excalibur… they knew what they were doing
I think an alternate void reality created by Albretch's mind makes sense (Kind of like how Duviri works) and as such is a mash-up of past and future. In fact, we know Al studied Duviri for a while, maybe to learn how to create a fortress of his own within the void.
Something about the count down and being told that we're late makes me think the mission with Arthur might be some kind of re-occurring loop. Like we only have a set amount of time to beat it before it resets.
Wasn’t the Al who visited Duviri a variation of him
@@uwot225 that is a good question. Mind you, we don't know if the one in Warframe 1999 is a variant either.
I was thinking Dark Sector as well - wondered if this was to fill the gap between that game and Warframe
Everything was fine.
Until it wasnt
they didnt have the rights to darksector and didnt get permission to use its lore from what i remember, but there are still loads of easter eggs.
Dark sector plot takes place in 2007.
@@MaloryHovell its not in 2007 its 1987 its literally the first thing you see in the game (lasria, U.S.S.R - 1987) salvage operation
@@jopos16 it's sort of flashback main plot with Hayden happens 20 years later.
My initial impression of this was that we were going back in time to meet the people that eventually became the warframes we play today. I thought it was a glimpse back in time to the people who were eventually used to create the warframes. Since we learned from the Umbra Warframe quest that these aren't just machines, but people transformed into living weapons. I thought this would be an introduction to those first warriors who became warframes. This would lead me to think that we will meet the first Excal, the first Mag and the first Volt in this thing. However, once others started talking about darksector and other things I started to realize that the multiversal thing might make more sense. I have no idea. It is interesting to me that Arthur seems to be a proto Excal and Aoi seems to be a proto Mag. No idea where they are going with this. I can't remember if Dr. Entrati made the warframes or not.
As an Orokin member, Dr. Albrecht Entrati work has a huge impact in the creation of warframes, but remember that: also Orokin Empire will happen after a few thousand years in the future, with nuclear wars scorching the entire Solar System in between. That's why, in the actual game you find only small enclaves of people on every planet, despite being so much bigger.
Events from '99 can't result in the creation of warframes, or anything else you see in the Origin System, for that matter.
I'm just glad we're getting some real story continuity in the game. I never got to play dark sector, but i love that this is giving me a good general idea of what happened back then. And anything saving with the Man in the Wall is always awesome.
Way I see it, the "Vessels" are giant avatar computers to let us connect with the user's Alt selves across the multiverse, in this case, a gene alt of the Excalibur frame. It seems that to really understand the extent of what these Alt universes have in common with Warframe's, is Kalymos. Kavats and Kubrows are ancient examples of Orokin gene manipulation, if Albrecht really wanted to find useful alt universes, they'd need to be within similar tech advancements, hence Kalymos would act as a filter to shave down the search, and would probably explain why there's a proto form of the Infested.
It's also funny that it implies that this universe suffered the feared apocalypse of Y2K
One tiny detail: infestation in The Origin System is bio with Void origins, Technocyte from DS - WF99 is, like the name implied technological.
Are two very different things.
Also, Origin System and Solar System are the same thing but with at least two or more thousands of years in between. From our time to Orokin passed at least a thousand years and radiation scorching the entire Solar System and another thousand from falls of the Orokin and Tenno time - present game time.
@@UmbraFulgur Here's a fun detail, warframes don't make sense yet, as the helminth strain wouldn't be discovered until the orokin sentient war. So seeing anyone that look like their pre-frame selves shouldn't have existed, hence why I suspected alternate dimension shenanigans, even if it was said to be in the "past", it wouldn't necessarily have to be the Warframe universe's past
hopefully in release Arthur's skin are changed that matched in 21st Century instead of a reskin
The main thing that has taken up residence in my head.
AK in warframe
I really like the bandoliers/webbing on the Exacliber here. Hope we can see these as attachments in Warframe.
While I don't think it was an alternative timeline. I do think the whole reason why Arthur was breathing so hard is that the Operator/Drifter was trying to "pilot" him like Excalibur. But either didn't realize or didn't know that it was a person who needs to breath like a normal person and not some Infested mech golem.
The TennoCon countdown being the 31.12.1999 to 2000 countdown is such an amazing thing! The spooky Wally sound starts as the clock hits 12:00, so the fucker had something to do with whatever happened. I'm assuming DE will use the Y2K in their game, which will be fun. Computer will try to take over the world, but they're all infested.
Go, Rebecca! You and the team can do it!! \o/
I still am desperate t know if they actually got Trent Reznor to mocap/voice Arthur, because what an absolutely bold move for the studio to get a name like that to be the OG Excal alongside a NIN reveal track. It was the NIN aspect that primarily excited me about this update, admittedly, but I was still blown away. I think the moment that hooked me the most was when the walls blasted away to Wally's realm within Deimos. Reb and DE as a whole are doing incredible work, $90 skins with hamfisted Regal Aya and an Accolade no one asked for aside..
Gotta admin though, that transition was smooth AF to Warframe 1999. Nicely done!
I feel like a lot of what Warframe’s been doing SHOULD feel like jumping the shark but it doesn’t. Glad they’re really leaning into paying off set ups. Everything about warframe 1999 is such a good aesthetic. Will never not like the contrast of Warframes with tactical gear lol.
Agreed. I hope we can get "Tactical Excal" as a skin, or a Drifter suit.
The perk of Warframe is that it's always been willing to go weird. What would be a shocking swerve for another franchise is just another day at the office for DE.
This is the final nail in the coffin for Hayden tenno isn't it?
Not necessarily... Theories to come.
Thanks for mentioning the song I thought it was a new warframe original and is so hyped for a full version but thanks to you I now have the full version ready for when I want to listen to it many thanks!
I feel that the 1999 we visit isn't the original for the Warframe universe - affected by the Man in the Wall and Albrecht's attempt to introduce Void-tech earlier in time.
I'd speculate that Void phenomena started happening with Albrecht's attempts to uplift 1990's humanity to Orokin Imperial high-tech, only for their disregard for basic safeties resulting in:
-Militaries trying and failing to weaponise Infested, resulting in an outbreak of sorts?
-Approximate reconstructions of Warframes as hollowed supersuits, with consequence of the suit trying to autorepair and perhaps subsume the wearer?
-Could Umbra have some reactions to/from Arthur? Would be interesting if that's included.
-Other Wall-related phenomena causing some unusual, new types of writing to appear (see: movie posters with unfamiliar writing, some of it on the walls too).
As for the Vessel, I think we'll need another Dojo room to repair that gigaframe, which may be used to battle hordes of enemies or make an effort to undo some of the machinations the Wall-Man had committed?
That man at the end sounded like the man in the walls "whispers in the walls"
Awesome !!! He's a Gen X !!! Looks amazing. I'm really glad that the story and quests are coming out fantastic ! I was really worried when Tencent got ahold of them it would be all microtransactions. But thankfully, not as bad as I was expecting. Great video Tater !! Ty
imo, we're gonna see the bridge point from Dark Sector, or at least a piece of it... But we're going through the "door." This is a very big amount of possibilities. Lots. Cool questions. Cool theories. No real answers for now. But man is it awesome.
i got so many questions about this: do we actually go in the past playing as Arthur or is it just some sort of a mind construct, is it a different Earth we go to or our own main Warframe timeline one, is it in any way connected to Dark Sector game, is it a Dark Sector remake inside the Warframe, and so much more. It is for sure going to be interesting to see what all this means for the future of the game (and it's past lore)
I think that entering that Vessel on Deimos will not transfer us to Arthur. It is just a very good transition from DE, to connect two different demo games. But if we use eternalism, we know that any posibility at any given time is accessable through void. So, time travel sounds quite possible to me. And it opens DE a way to make wally bad guy throughout all times.
if it is then its kinda goofy way of traveling different reality
@@silent0089 As I said, it is not use of "the vesseles" that will transport us to different reality. It is some other way that we didn't saw in demo play.
Arthur must be from another parallel universe, cuz in dark sector there was a evil bio doctor, created the enemie Genesis (nyx Genesis skin)
And this creation stroke Hayden tenno with a weapon, and infected him. This is how he became (skin// proto Excalibur) Hayden is basically the OG Excalibur.
I'm wondering if the *infested* PCs that are attacking Arthur are the result of the technocyte virus/infection getting off the island in Dark Sector
Hayden is not canon. He's part of a project that some cuck hijacked before the original intention, warframe, was realized.
@@AnjnShan, with WF99, finally Dark Sector became canon, as is supposed to be in the first place.
I love the way you upload your videos
Glad I wasn’t the only one to notice the safety lol
So we had Arthur as proto-Excal, and Aoi as proto-Mag, I have a feeling we might gonna have a third person as proto-Volt. I also think that both Arthur and Aoi is already having some helmynth strain infestation, Arthur sounds and looks really under stress when using only small fragments of abilities. Also like how in the whispers in the walls, when we go through the lab complex, we initially hear different knocking in nearly every chamber, the weird anomaly that almost knocks out the power in the hub I think is a knocking.
One more thing, when we go through the lab, and there's a sudden cut of a metro train going through two orokin portals, I might think that it could be the train, Arthur is on.
Okay, one more thing again, what if Albrecht wasn't really "stuck" in the void, and the doppelganger got loose? What if the "doppelganger" posessed him, that's why we see him behaving almost like two different person, and why he orders Loid to lock him in that "stasis pod"? Not total posession though, but just a small fragment that got through with him when Albrecht returned from the void. The eyes are also different from our "operator" that pops up now and then, it's more like a mix between normal eyes and the "voidy" eyes, like it is the mark of the void that was left on him.
I hope we get to see all the other og frames like frost rhino ember etc
Technocyte virus is technological like the name implies and Helminth strain comes from The Void virus originally mutated by the Orokin. The first is a tech virus, second is a bio virus. Two very different things.
What confuses me then is that the big vessel was not the end of the whispers in the wall quest, but 1999 is next year. So what happens after we go into the wall man? My thought is that the head we go into is maybe if Albrecht was swapped with wally on the first encounter, and he is "The Man In The Wall" but not the evil version of him. Like a criminal doppelganger swapping places with you and you going to prison for their crimes.
indeed to reaload with safty on is imposible but funny to watch
thank you for great video
What I believe this to be is a kind of story of how the warframes came to be warframes, cause remembering they were all essentially super soldiers kind of, or atleast extremely deadly people fighting for something
But arthur is clearly Excalibur (would probably become umbra as he’s the original iirc?) as his suit is clearly the same as excaliburs outer shell.
So we might learn why the warframes actually beacame warframes and the process behind it, the collapse human of civilization on earth, and why we split off into different factions.
Ngl it was pretty cool they included the audiences countdown in the actual game from the demo
Hear me out. What if this guy isn't excalibur and his name is a big mislead. What if hes actually the proto stalker?
Yep I thought the same this might be stalker origin story
Yeah I've seen a few ppl mention this.
The Albrecht Cryosleep theory is very reminiscent of Chains of Harrow. To think Rell was fighting the same fight as Albrecht is really something.
It have some Resident Evil vibe combined with metal gear. And Reb did say its big update so maybe we will have more cool map locations in that year that we can explore. And after we finish all that we would probably get him unlock to play him in our warframe world. Like what we got with umbra frame…
That's the man in the wall, I know that smurk.
I feel like the way the cut to 1999, with what we've seen in Whispers is only "first missions" - it leaves me with way too may questions. And it really fucks with my head. Clearly we're not using Vessel to get into Arthur's head. Because "those are only first missions" of Whispers. So how exactly will we get there? What will Vessel ACTUALLY do? Will we bring grandpa "back to the real world'? How will Whispers end?
However - going back to 1999's Earth is a change of scene, that we needed, just like with Duviri. And both both Whispers and 1999 have sphynxes in them. So that's 10/10 from me right there. Yup.
Pretty excited to meet Albrecht and see what 1999 is all about. Even meeting WallBrecht 🥺
I absolutely loved Authur's design. The grey hair, the chiseled features, and the mix of 90's tactical gear with obvious (proto) Excalibur armor. Very, VERY interested to see what Warframe 1999 brings!
I felt love with Warframe years ago and abandoned it for a while but this Tennocon got my attention for sure.
I hope that the Excal suit Arthur is in does get some changes. Maybe there will be something that explains why it looks like the modern suit with attachments but it would be more appropriate (with what we know/seen currently) if it did have more of the Proto Stylings or at least something of the metal and blue lights that advanced technocytes had in Dark Sector. Otherwise I await with some intrigue. I'm more interested in the upcoming devstream where they talk about the large QoL pass we're getting soon. Here's to hoping Hydroid get's redeemed. We as a community need to make it clear that it is worth it for them to do reworks and just fix/update older aspects of the game. New is great, but reinforcing the foundation before building more on top is just as nice.
i wonder if the 1999 thing is a story driven sequence that you can only play once, like Khal or Veso, or if its a place you can always comeback to, like Duviri.
And in case you can always comeback to it, many questions arise: what kind of loot is in there? can we customize Arthur? Is there multiplayer in 1999?
In any case, this update is looking amazing, love the retro vibe, kudos to Reb and the rest of the team 🥳
The man in the wall is modeled after the vitruvian man, who was part of the golden record (a record supposed to convey humanity to anything that found it, that was shot into space in 1977). Apparently the golden record passed Pluto in 1990 and left our solar system in 2004. Warframe 1999 taking place between those 2 times could possibly mean something
Now that is a reach
So basically, Die Hard with Solid Snake in a New York subway terminal during Y2K with primordial space magic. *chef's kiss
All I know for sure is Warframe 1999 has me hyped more than any other update.
I’m rubbing my brain cells together as hard as I can but I’m utterly baffled lmao
1999 is likely a follow on update from Whispers in the Wall. Like how, the New War and Duviri are related stories but not the same. However, they were advertised in the same gameplay demo back at tennocon.
Anyways, chances are it's a multiverse/timeline situation. The lore supports it.
Yes it's like how they've done before in demos with the railjack and Venus open world different quests cut together
One thing I noticed is that at the beginning of the cinematic in the lab, Albricht’s hands have normal skin color when he grabs his phone but after that they become very pale with yellow nails.
It may be because of the lighting tho Idk, just wanted to mention it
What if "Wally-Albreit" grinning thing at the end of the 1999 demo, is like a BAMBOOZLE, a bit of a diversion? I mean, remember "the War Within" teaser we got during tennocon waayyy back (forgot the year)? When at the end we saw Teshin completely pulling his sword out and ready to throw hands with us, but in the real quest, he got interrupted by the Queens? Maybe it's sth like that.
I see it as we watched history in 1999 with proto excal and proto mag (Which were probably code names) fighting off the technovirus was kick started everything about Warframe in it's current time, since so many, probably thousands of years, in the future. Since Loyd mentions about us not knowing about their war, which is over and Loyd doesn't know what current events are really going on, since we already had the old war, new war, Sentients, and so much more that has happened. There is still questions that have yet to get answers to.
before year 1999 on the trailer was revealed, I really thought " Damn finally, we can have our drifter become the warframe themselves " xd
Yeah I thought it was pretty obvious that the transition between Whispers in the Walls and '99 was just for the sake of showcasing '99 and has nothing to do with the transference into the vessel. Rebbeca was caught saying "what if you could control something much larger than--" while her mic was still on, so its most likely another epic transference scene where you control the giant flying dragon in Duviri (aka, you control a "titan" of sorts).
And as for the story, idk if I like the direction on '99. I greatly preferred the screwed up story of nightmare children getting void powers to become sci-fi ninjas with eldritch horrors looming over the lore. This new direction they've been going in since the end of The New War has been feeling like an aimless, endless wacky drama that just gets dragged out and made up on the spot (exactly how the show Supernatural went after S3-ish if you know what I'm talking about). That and entrati being dressed up in Josuke cosplay was funny at first, but looked so out of place and stupid.
Anyways, more content islands. More weapons we'll grind for 5 hours then use for 20 mins. More getting nowhere. Same old.
i think you mean jotaro
but i agree its goofy as fuck.
Someone on the dev team probably just finished stone ocean.
It might have been for transitions purposes but either way I'm excited
@@DivineXPotato yeah it's been a few years since I last watched JoJo. Idk ever since the very end of the new war the story has been getting less and less...idk, inspired (?). I feel like the people who took Warframe and it's low and story seriously left to do Soul Frame where they have full control of development and not be bossed around by the player base. Just my hypothesis though.
@@ProlificPianist honestly i can def see that but i'm hoping it isn't the case because i think warframe has a lot of potential and had the chance for a lot of cool story and worldbuilding.
but we'll see.
Also looking back at the art and the art literally screams "Watch dogs" to me
like REALLY screams it.
So im hoping its just me being schizophrenic and or DE has proper plans for this.. but with the possibility that they've left for soulframe has me a bit worried.
but we'll wait and see.
This could potentially be DE bridging the gap between Dark Sector and Warframe. And I want more of this world. Most importantly I want to see Hayden Tenno. The brand on most Warframes right shoulders is Orokin text translating to “Hayden Tenno.” If it’s just a nod to dark sector then whatever. But what if Hayden’s cell makeup comprises the Infested that is used in all Warframes? And what if we come to discover that in Warframe 1999?
That would be truly amazing to see if that were the case!
the aura of the man in the wall is what i always wished the sentient empheara to be in the past ❤❤❤❤ i fckn LOVE the man in the wall
I think they should have done something with this to bridge darkSector into warframe, bring brack Hayden Tenno since he was literally the first warframe, and was the original Excalibur, since by the end of the game your body merges with the infestation in a symbiotic matter that turns it into a true proto-warframe(similar fashion to how umbra was created, except it was ~ a few thousand years earlier in the timeline/multi-verse timeline).
Its a pretty good theory. Thank you TP!
Hope we get Arthur's skin for excal, or mag or any other frame that will be shown in this exciting 1999 quest, I personally believe that this will be quest happening around dark sector and time before our timeline we are playing warframe, I'm really excited
I'm so excited for this!! It looks so damn amazing
Ngl it reminds me allot of Dark sector , maybe dark sector 2 ?
Maybe a tip.of the hat to Dark sector but that about it I think.
Let's just say Warframe 1999 = Dark Sector re-imagined.
@@TacticalPotato I honestly hope this is a way for them to merge Dark Sector & Warframe!!!
in 1999 we wake up on a subway train, and there were apparently a connection to subway trains in the lab in the future. So maybe we will be taking the subway to the past if 1999 are mission "nodes"
Arthur is going to be the Stalker for sure.

the old guy just needed to say " rap...tap...tap" :)
Last second of the year 1999 some people tought : It's the endo of the world :) Fuck im old.
then 2012 came and people freaked out again
Arthur?
Wielding excalibur!?
I see you , DE!
I've got the thought that "Walbrecht" might be Albrecht's drifter instead of Wally himself. Or that Wally IS Albrecht, in a Kang the Conqueror kinda way
I think it was interesting that robo-loid mention that "things and people" where kept safe in the lab... Right after a subway train blows by our head.
Cut scenes 5 min later and we are now watching a firefight in a subway train 😮.
Interesting. I just wonder how Warframe 1999 will be setup.
Will it simply be a quest where we play as Modern Alternate reality Tenno, will it be like duvuri where everything in that world is self contained, Will the Tenno from that time join us in the future or vice versa,
How many Warframes are getting the human Treatment. So far there are 2. Excal and Mag, maybe Volt as well.
What if many frames had faces, voices and subtle dialogues interactions,
What if there are more environments in the modern,Era that just a subway station,Will there be duffernt Earth Tilesets in this update. Like imagine getting different places taken over by Infestation and early grineer remnants, before the cloning process took hold.
also there are so many cool firearms from 1990 to 1999. We could get all kind of modern weaponry. I for one would like an M4A1,An actual Glock,QBZs ,Suppressed MP5,s. Dual MP5,S,
In terms of melee weapons ik not sure i think everything youd expect. Swords,Daggers,Machetes,Poles, tbe regular but with moderm looks.
Another cool thing i liked is that the modern excal had weird triangle shaped metal indents on his shoulders and he was strapped with ammo bags.i dig this Tactical look for Warframes.
I do hope that Warframe 1999 really is something cool.
From what we know of eternalism, "traveling" to the past with a shift of perspective shouldn't be out of the question, also that subway train that nearly hit the Tenno in the face was very real, pulled, I imagine, out of the past. Personally the smashing of Albrecht's pod leads me to believe he is no longer in it at all, he traveled to the past, but via Transference with the Vessel we are reliving Arthurs memories. (or maybe for us its mental time travel, sending our minds back into Arthur's body)
I think that you might have a point, in that this could be what dark sector was ment to be like. Now is seems to be the "start" of warframe, maybe.....
In a sense i hope so, and i hope that we get to do more then one mission as Arthur, but i digress. My hope is that we get to experience more of warframe lore, and maybe find out more about the Tenno themselvs.
This what would've happened to Clive Rosfield, if he didn't succumb to the crystal curse. Man switched up arms.
Whatever these updates bring, I hope they take their golden time. They looks very promising and would suck if they get rushed
At that moment we can hear the exact countdown Reb ask us to to do during the con......cudos for DE to plan this out and still manage to put it into the game minutes before the reveal.......EPIC
Pedantic as hell, but that ak with the safety on took me out of the intro for a bit lol.
I think when we transfer into the big guy and it transitions to Aurthur, it's just that; a transition DE used to add coherence to the demo video. I dont think they are one in the same
I think there's one key peice against the "it's all in somones head" argument; the 1999 train that comes through the void gates as a "trap" when exploring the lab. If it was purley somones mind, then that train coudn't exist. Im torn between "Time travel causing the divergence between our reality and warframe reality" and "dream scape duviri style come to life", although my argument against the 2nd is the old arse pc in the lab.
I loved the 90s desktop jab Lloyd took at us. DEvs knew their audience and wrote that line ON PURPOSE! Our age is showing, John...
"...you are the key. That colorless antique, there. Use it." and then the 56k Modem Dial-up sound were targeted attacks to all of us Millennials that lived thru Y2K and I too am a colorless antique, Lloyd...
I hope something of "Dark Sector" has to do with this project. Its a cool game and I got vibes from this trailer that made me think back to "Dark Sector".
Weither it does or not, this piece of content looks cool and cant wait to see more about it later down the line.
I knew I heard Mag.
Also I think your probably right about your the theory.
My name is Arthur... Arthur Hayden... just imagine that
Metal Warframe Rising: Vamp Boogaloo.
I think you can even say before the cut to Arthur, that the big stature is looking at something to his left with I would say hate. Perhaps it’s looking at the one who put him there? Edit : Also maybe Arthur is the stalker?
Wait is this like a sequel to Dark Sector?
Such an amazing game. Think it was the first commercial game warframes dev team ever released.
All of warframe is based off dark sector. Even the term Tenno is a direct reference to the main character Hayden Tenno
i think taking a dip in the past was the right direction
I think it is a sort of Dark Sector is the origins of Warframe type of deal.
I miss the 90s
Maybe it’s a battle taking place in both of their minds
A proto-mag....so a tapestry? :)
TBH that 1999 looks way more like 1989, which points to be a constructed place by Albrecht. A Matrix of sorts where he could lock the indiference in safe state, e Kalymos would be as cats in ancient Egyot the bridge that would lock Wally in the form Entrati assumes to fit at 1999 matrix.
why has no one mentioned that in the whispers in the wall demo had a modern train from our era teleport into the lab
I Was playing yesterday, anyone notice The resemblence between The undercroft figure in the maelstrom below and The giant vessel that had been showed on Deimos?
