My dad built the original house in 1969 and I was born and raised there. The original address was 152 kokee pl. I was born and raised in that house. The new owner tore it down and built this one you see on the video. He did a beautiful job. I had the opportunity of meeting him and he was genuinely a nice person. Aloha🤙

Kyle Stanford Hanapepe Loop is the original name of the street since the 1950’’s when the first homes were built in Koko Kai. Koke’e Place is a cul de sac off off Hanapepe Loop.
Kona moon our mailbox was located in the cudesac and the original address was 152 kokee pl. If you saw the house before it was torn down you'd understand. My father provided insurance for the original developer so he was offered his pick of lots when that whole area was being developed. So...he picked lot number one.
This is my ULTIMATE DREAM HOME.
Someday, you never know. Whatever you're passionate about, keep getting better at it, and maybe you could have something like that.
Probably wouldn't even notice the quarantine if I lived here. Just have my butler go store and buy food to restock the fridge every couple days n my gardener restock the pakalolo. Would be petty sweet

Yeah this is nice and all but if you look all over the island you will see people struggling and people living on the streets because nobody can afford to live in a house. We literally have to work 2-3 jobs to pay for rent. Mind you our minimum wage is 10.10 and no one can live off of that. Hawai’i is expensive to live and in order to be financially stable to live here you have to be making 26 an hour.
Yeah, that's true in a lot of places as well. I've got this course that I'm filming teaching people how to create their own sustainable startups (from food trucks to tech and everywhere in between). I'd like to talk to a few foundations where we could give access to it for those in low-income situations. It could be really awesome to see how it helps out those who are struggling.

They could keep raising the min. wage here but everything will continue to grow more expensive. Honestly, Hawaii is just a playground for the rich.. Anything for tourism and the wealthy but nothing for everyone else.
Then go make more money. If you're watching t.v. and not working on the weekends grinding it out 15 hrs a day. Then you don't want to be rich. Cause that's what they do. Sacrifice your time and make more money so you can by this house. Saying someone got it from their rich parents is poor mans mentality.

The house is probably around 15 mil. A can is 5c at the recycling depot. 25 bottles to a dollar. 25x15= 375million bottles.

Just in case anybody is wondering, this house should cost around 4-5 million here in Hawaii. Looked about that much to me since it is near the coastline of the beach. Houses in Hawaii is so expensive, like a $800,000 home is the ideal home for a family of 4-5. Some houses are available but they’re made since the 1900s and are made of wood. That’s why a lot of people just visit Hawaii for vacation because houses in the mainland is so much cheaper. You could buy a mansion using that $800k in other states:( I live in Hawaii and these ^^^ types of houses can only be found near the edges of Oahu. Waipahu, pearl city, Aiea has nice houses too but not this beautiful, such a beautiful house 👍

This is what we dream of here in Hawaii and we cant even afford houses like these. We have to work like 3 jobs just to get by....its a nice dream...maybe if your a doctor or surgeon or lawyer you can afford this but it's only for the rich. We all wish we have plenty money and can afford things like this but its only what we can dream about. It would be nice for like a weekend getaway. Gotta always dream big.
why don't you build your own house like this together with your family? Find bricks, woods and cement, etc.

Beautiful. Like heaven on earth. But how do you even keep up with a house like that unless you look at maintenance as a full-time job?
I imagine that, in some fantasy where I could afford that place, a year after I move in the tiki torches would be burnt out, as well as a portion of the ceiling lights, and the rugs and kitchen would be all dirty.
I guess they have at least a couple servants, huh? How does that work? They come in and clean daily, then skedaddle, or they live in an adjoining house? I figure you'd also, in addition to at least two full-time maids, need a gardner and a general handyman. What's the situation? How do people with homes like that keep them looking good? I don't know I'd be crazy about the idea of the employees always being around, but I can't see any other way, especially if you plan on entertaining and stuff.
To live in Hawaii, a person need to prepare for that. You need to have the credentials to get a great job. You only live once and time constraint..
