Did you know how detrimental it is to bring undeclared fruit into New Zealand's borders?
YES I know.
Yes. My father worked for the New York State Department of Agriculture testing soil and looking for the Golden Nematode, which threatened Long Island's potato crops.
@@FransBlaas1 The luggage has been through worse, but nice try at a fatuous argument
@@amssydsing3475you are admitting that the luggage itself probably brings in more bugs than anything else
similar to other places... Canada has similar prohibitions and even crossing the state line for California used to have a check point for state patrol to check for bio-control. At the ferry terminal where I grew up, there was bio-agent checkpoint at customs as a kid. Hitch-hiking invasive pests and contaminants is a serious threat to any local produce or forestry, not just NZ. Average person is totally oblivious to this because they buy their stuff in store and clueless about the earth or agriculture which sustains them. It's only when they find a frog in their salad at McDonald's that they get excited about invasive species or hitch-hikers. Then it's on TV. It has to be on TikTok or evening news as entertainment.
For some bizarre reason the speech is constantly blocked out whenever they mention any words to do with drugs. Makes no sense, is quite annoying, so not watching any more of these.
Quite so. A big shame.
We hear ya Allen, we're gonna start changing this!
Absolutely ridiculous. Why spoil a reasonably good story?
@@caughtinaction Its the blocking of the word drugs but not the name ephedrine which was actually detected in the coat.
Drives me crazy to….
Good content but the hyper censorship on the word drugs is annoying to say the least. Good grief!!!
censoring the word drugs?? Also censoring the type of drugs. Unwatchable.
Why do you censor the names of the drugs???
youtube update they seem to want the word blocked.for narrative reasons.
Seriously, they should have just given that man a warning for next time he packs an orange. That really seems extreme & I don't blame him for being mad. Easy mistake.
There are entry requirements that are spelled out quite clearly. He has no excuse. Given the potential biosecurity hazards that come with fruit, It is hardly extreme at all.
No its not hes got no excuse
So where would YOU have drawn the line? 2 oranges? 5? A dozen? A thousand? The rules are quite clear and the signage is everywhere. No excuses for either the British or the Canadian guys.
@@Beavis26NZ Some of the fines handed out seem like a paltry amount to me.
Yes, it is an easy mistake BUT he didn’t have a valid excuse. In fact, there is no excuse. There are signs and warnings displayed everywhere. The damage just one piece of fruit could have on our agriculture is beyond imagination.
Also, you have to realise that food on the flight is loaded on at the country of departure so keeping a piece of fruit from the plane is no different to packing it in to your bag before leaving that country.
Chances are that they may have been given a warning if they hadn’t behaved so rudely. Glad they won’t be back. Good riddance to them.
That last man, I think he genuinely might not have understood the question the first time.
So the camera can show us a drug, but cant say the word of the drug !!!!! Its so annoying.
Rules have to be followed when visiting another country. This Gentleman has to learn a lesson.
So stupid they blank/beep out the drug words considering this is a program about smugglers. We know. 😊✌🐩
I thought I was going deaf
The parson who had lots of cardit cards he must of stole them
If orange man wasn’t such a rude prick, he probably would have left with a warning
Absolutely!
It’s just an orange it’s not gonna hurt anyone
Why are the names of the drugs bleeped out in the speak?
The pom with the orange should have been sent straight back to England since he doesn’t want to be there!!
"Jesus Wept!" 🤣🤣
I just love it when people say “I won’t come back to your country.” Like we care. 😂
I can sympathise with the men that got fined 400 dollars for 1 orange and apple
Especially the apple, which he recieved on the plane as i gathered.
Why? Easily avoidable if he had declared it.
@@Cooltownmedia it would have been loaded on the plane from another country. Simples.
IKR. that's absolutely ridiculous! They didn't smuggle the fruit into the airport, they fruit was on the plane!
Over an orange come on man 🤣🤣🤣
Fruit fly host. Cant follow rules, dont come into our country and jeopardize our fresh produce industry here.
Was planning to binge this series, but the unnecessary censorship made me think twice.
I’ll go find this show elsewhere.
Is the word "drugs" censored?
FRUIT ARE EXPENSIF
At the moment if you bring in any pork products into Taiwan without declaring it, the fine is about £5400 and there’s no arguing your way out. All bags will have to go through x-ray machines on arrival. I would happily pay that £400 in comparison 😅
If the Canadian man was a member of Greenpeace, he should know better than to complain so bitterly.
It is sad, it was one fkn orange. Wow
Had to stop watching at the five minute mark. The sound-cutting censorship is far too annoying!
Eating an orange a day keeps the immigration away.
The thing with customs shows, drugs are detected in every single episodes. It’s a key part of the show and censoring the word all the time is incredibly annoying 😬
I'm English I'm going to fly to Africa to see English people. That Mexican guy is nuts
He was obviously intending to look for a job in NZ
If he belongs to Greenpeace he should know the rules and damage the apple posed.
There should be a warning on every apple in America that you can't bring it to New Zealand... Americanos!
why is the dialog cutting in and out?
Could he copy credit cards on his computer??
If you can't say what drugs they are ect, then why put these vids on TH-cam
What fool blanked out all fact words in the clip!!?? Get better TH-cam!!!
You have to edit out the word 'drug'? Oh dear . . .
They should just tell him to eat the orange 🍊
This would have been a very interesting video except for certain words that get blocked out. Please stop doing this, it spoils the whole video and makes it sound as though the transmission is faulty. Thank you.
I know it's a big fine but what they have to realise is it could wipe their agricultural farms out 😢 so that orange 🍊 or apple 🍎 could make farmers lose everything 😢
Time samp 9:40, it says restricted area, do not use cameras, mobile phones, sound records or any other forms of electronic communication in this area, so I wonder how the people who making the programs are allowed to use their devices in the restricted area, as it seems be miss leading information about this, meaning they let TV program use prohibited items to record what is happening in the airport on daily basis, yet if Joe Bloggs was caught doing this they get into big trouble over it, I feel the same rule should apply no matter who you are.
That Canadian should be glad that he's not dealing with the Canadian authorities. They'd charge more than twice as much for the same thing.
Didn't that noisy Pom read the info handed out just ahead of landing and fill in an arrivals card, ticking whatever he had to declare?? And good luck to the Canadian in court!!
How can it pose a biosecurity risk when they scan every bag?
All for Orangeman !!!
Harassment, misleading.
Some people say yes indicating they heard you… doesn’t need to be the answer to the question yet.. sad and terrible treatment of the man.. 😢😢
I stopped watching due to the audio censorship. I have a certain finger for that I'm sorry.
yes declare all fruit, but, yeah come on...
🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊😂😂
Orange guy they don’t care that you are not coming back. You made a mistake, shut up and pay your fine
Orange man is certainly living up to the stereotype of "whinging Pom!"
the word drugs is censored haha
STUPID
Get real. Don't bother watching this. Do you honestly think it's fair to your viewers to bleep out the word drugs when it's a show about...finding drugs and other illegal items? Terrible!!
ahh the British Abroad 🤣obviously a Brexit voter😆
The Canadian couple is shameful... I am Canadian ...
Orange man ! Don't bring Jesus into your mistakes! There is a lot of other names you can call or blame. Thankyou!
i stopped flying years ago. not worth it anymore
Grandpa and his orange, Jesus wept is killing me with laughter 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
As a Brit, we don't claim him! 😂
Over a bleeding orange they gonna start crying
@@aliyahfatty7732 He is just one of many obnoxious Brits unfortunately.
I am a Diabetic and don't need to carry fruit. I just carry Dex4 fast acting Glucose tablets. Walking around with an Orange or Banana in your pants pocket might get you busted even in shopping malls. Also the censorship of the word drug in this video is very annoying.
DRUGS DRUGS DRUGS DRUGS
Absolutely disgusting, they fined him 400 for that orange. I'm not surprised they didn't get their point across to him. They wouldn't have convinced me either!
Are you on any other platform that doesn't require you to blank audio?
I wish the inappropriate “music” could be got rid of too. 😅
TH-cam is honestly just gotten so ridiculious with what you can and can't say. Who is that sensitive that they must not hear the word drug or drugs? 🙄
Why are some of the speech erased?
It is really funny when someone says: I’m never coming back to this bloody country! And because of this all the people in NZ just gave up and died and they closed the country down because the guy in the purple shirt is unhappy!
karen and kev need to be kinder
@@shonroberts4474 "Kev" is the only one I saw talking..
😂😂 Exactly! As if anyone wants him... I'm a Brit and we don't want him back... 🤷♀️😂
Gotta love the Kiwis, though. When the customs guy wafted away a fly him and Purple Shirt (that Purple Shirt ducked from) and said "I hope it's not a fruit fly"... Quality trolling!😂😂
When travelling to another country you think you would check the rules & restrictions
How infantile to blip out some words here and there. Will that save the world from narcotics?
Hope they told him the same thing would have happened in Australia if they had found the orange.
The Little Englander complaining about being fined for bringing in the orange was hilarious. Sometimes people like to show to just how ignorant they really are .
don't go to New Zealand if you don't respect their laws. stay in your country!!
Indeed and did you know that all countrys have the same laws on food ?
I ve watched lots of these type of shows (NZ,UK OZ,Canada ... and US).... and found the NZ customs & immigrations being the best to watch with the best officers(Am Canadian btw); but why sensor the word drugs ? Its the only one that does .... 🤔🤔
SO SHOCKING....NEW ZEALAND...TH3Y PROVIDED THE APPLE...GO FIGURE
I have listened to many apprehended scenes. Western customs and immigration as well as the courts who find those found guilty and given gaol terms are TOO SOFT. ALL these offenders caught know exactly what they are doing. Try these offences in muslim, Eastern Europe and Singapore. Singapore has zero tolerence for drug carriers. Depending on the drug seized and quantity the offender is jailed, deported or could receive the death sentence. Doesnt matter what one's nationality is. Singapore has very little problem with drugs! They know how to deal with criminals and their gaols are not holiday camps!
If someone brought in fungi and chicken feet from Asia and said it was 'medicine' they would not get fined $0 let alone $400.
I had similar issue with one of the flights, all my luggage was confiscated because I took waking sticks with me, when I reached my final destination, they counted the walking sticks as extra luggage. They didn't want to release my luggage unless I payed $260 USD.
Wow! That's ridiculous!
In NZ?

Why do any words connected to drug activities get blanked out? So frustrating - and so annoying. Just what, exactly, is the rationale behind such behaviour?
It's pretty obvious
They would lose monetisation of videos.
18 años en EUA y su inglés es Pésimo!.
Imagine being kicked out of a country (for a good reason) and when moving all your stuff out of that country, you enter a different country that can see you have been deported, but still question why he has so much weird stuff with him? Was he going to throw it away in the US?
He wouldn’t have been deported to New Zealand though. So the question is why did he bring it from Mexico to New Zealand if he isn’t planning to try the same thing there?
@@VC-gt8fv Hm good point.
If he’d been several, places he must have seen his orange secreted in his luggage
It is very easy to forget. Also one single orange will not bring down the NZ fruit industry.Very amusing they reckon we do not have fruit flies in NZ.
I know whats in the packets in the tea bags,
Its blank😊
