Lovely song and beautifully picked Jim, thanks for bringing it to the season. And thank you for mentioning Stan Rogers in your post, I was thinking of you when I compiled my list :-)
I have started working on "LIES" for my second submission this season. Stan lived in the town of Dundas, Ontario where I grew up. His kids went to Parkside High School as did I. I have trouble getting through that song with no tears though.
Nice one, Jim. Yet another songwriter I must check out thanks to your introduction! Why is it than when you're retired you seem to have less time than you had when you were working? 😉
New song to me Jim, lovely lyrics, sweetly played. 56 is no age to die 😢
Thanks a lot.
Colleen was only 46 when she passed, 10 years younger than Willie P.
A beautiful bring, Jim!
Thanks for giving it a listen Sabine.
😍 they don't have a music eyes emoji, so I'm going with this one. Thanks for that lovely tune, Jim!
Thanks a lot Chris. That emoji is just fine with me.

Sounds good, and thanks for the background info!
Thanks Threebird. I always appreciate a bit of info about songs and singers.
Very nicely done!
Thanks Ylle.
This was quite lovely, Jim!
Thanks a lot Ila.
New one to me Jim, well played. Small parts of the melody reminds me of The Candy Man Can for some reason
Thanks for sopping in Andy.
Lovely song, Jim. I didn't get the meaning, but I'll understand it all in time, or so I've heard. Nice performance.
There is a verse to the song that I omitted. Thanks for giving a listen.
@@PHJimY oh, I got cheated out of the word? (Kidding)
