Lacs of people will be helped in doing their jap, sadhna, upasana by watching this video in the near future. Kindly make a video on AUM/OM pronunciation as well as beej such as AIM SHREEM RAAN ( some people use different pronunciation of the anusvaar for vedic - tantrik use) . You have told to use the anusvar sound depedning on the family of varna of the FOLLOWING LETTER while some prescribe to use the anusvaar according to the letter PRECEDING the bindu ( eg. om ga* ganpataye namh , what will be the siud of * ? ) . @Narasimha Rao please also cover ज्ञ sound also. Is it gya, dnya, gnya.
& I'm sorry. It's not Ramaa. You are pronouncing it wrong. 34:33 onwards. When you explained ram, you said ramaa, a very south indian pronunciation. That too is wrong. Your pronunciation was रामा. The pronunciation for राम is actually between north indian राम् & south indian रामा.
Mostly south indian pronunciations are wrong. North indian pronunciations are not that wrong as it is native language. South indians also do k sounds as g. Like gartikeya. Sh sound as ch. Gh as k, like seekram. Many sounds are wrong. Basically sanskrit has a tamil flavour. :)

    • @iagreewithyou4328
      @iagreewithyou4328 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

@@srisonal wrong. Swaras are Kala baddha. Kala is relative.
If you pronounce अ for for a certain time, then आ has to be pronounced with stretching for double the time.
Raama is correct. The north indian ram is wrong.
And what is this about native language?? South Indian pronunciations are much more correct as they are not Persianized.
Pure sanskrit is preserved only in South India where it is native to as much as it is to the north.
Carnatic music and Hindustani music are perfect examples.
अ is a primordial sound. There should be no restriction while pronouncing it.
As for k and g. You are confusing South Indians with tamilians. There are non tamilians in South India if you realize. Besides this most of the vedic shakhas are preserved in South India.
When I came to north india, the brahmins did not even perform daily sandhya Vandanam. They don't even know what agnisthoma is.
The perfect pronunciation of sanskrit in henerally found in the Andhra pradesh, telangana, Karnataka and maharashtra belt. All South Indian(seen traditionally, as vimdhya is the border).
All north indians follow South Indian acharyas, adi shankaracharya, ramanujacharya, madhwacharya, Nimarkacharya or Vallabhacharya. What nonsense do you speak.
Deshahastas are considered to be the oldest brahmins group. They reside in maharashtra and Northern Karnataka. Other pancha Dravida brahmins also are old groups especially the early Tamil brahmins.

Thank you...very much needed to standardize pronounciation!
    Two questions:
    1. Why do you pronounce the word "Veda" differently...I feel it sounds like "ai" instead of "a" like in 'gate'. Is that correct & you do it intentionally?
    2. Can you release a video for basic pronounciation of Veda mantras? The notations, symbols there are usually not learnt when learning language & grammar...

regarding Your tips on ऋ... - I think you want to say, say रु, but don't round the mouth as उ, but wide as in इ. Is my understanding right?

🙏 Narsimha Rao ji - how would you pronounce गं in the Ganapati beej mantra? I feel pronouncing as Gam is incorrect. It should be ग s. Isn’t it?

Regarding Anuswara, according grammar rule, makara and nakara becomes answara. if followed by ku, cu, du, tu, pu changes to the nasal of the same correspondant class. As in the case of hakara also as it is in proximity with guttaral it changes to ङ्. if followed by य, व, ल then they three become nasal. In case of श, ष, स if at all it changes, I have not come across any rule, that should be ञ्, ण्, न् as there is close proximity as we see in many places proximity decides things which is quite natural. Am I right?

Kindly make videos on sahasranama and rudra and suktas

    Pranam Rao Ji
There are certain sanskrit words which have similar sounds but written differently such as "Aa" "ऋ "
New versions of manuscripts have simple expressions but older printed versions have different.
I usually get confused how to chant them
I wanted to share few of them to you so that we can learn them as well and their by seek your guidance to pronounce them.
Please suggest how can i share.
