      @@User24586fyaqyerwhkibngkiotrse I am also an English Man, White. Blue eyes. I look like the typical plain tall bald western white guy basically lol. Only known the English language all of my life..
      From the City of Manchester in the North West. In the place I have lived for the last 10 years I walked past the Hindu Temple on my Road and always wanted to go in but I was afraid.
      Anyway, around 7 years ago I had what I now know to be a full blown Kundalini awakening and I was chanting “Aum” on autopilot like it literally just happened to me!
      I was flying at beyond light speed seeing flash images beyond belief and was auto Pranayama breathing. My mouth flooded with a liquid secretion from my Brain and when I swallowed it.. It was the most powerful and intense 2 hour experience I have ever had whilst I was just sat on a Chair alone, chanting on autopilot. I ended up feeling like I was just re born oddly. Beyond words. Way too difficult to describe.
      I stepped into the Hindu Temple for the first time the other day. The Statues and Pictures in there are EXACTLY the same Beings that I see in my mind all the time.
      The chanting I hear in my head is like Sanskrit so now I want to learn Sanskrit. It brings tears to my eyes when I hear Indians chanting in Sanskrit, it’s beyond amazing.. I feel like I am supposed to go down this path and I feel like it might be very important for me and others that I am yet to meet. So yeah.. That’s my story.

    One of the most beautiful aspects of Sanskrit language and its descends like Hindi, Marathi, etc. is that once you learn all the alphabets (Vyanjna, Swara, - क / आ ) and their combination patterns (Swara+Vyanjna - का) you don't really need to learn any spellings. With just this basic understanding you will be able to read/write most of the words in these languages.
    This is unlike other languages for eg. English where we need to learn spellings even after we learn the alphabet set.
    That's how scientific Sanskrit language is!

    • @rks9607
      @rks9607 4 ปีที่แล้ว +18

      Even in Malayalam, though the 'lipi' (scripts) is different, pronunciation of alphabets is almost similar. Thus Sanskrit can be the mother of all Indian languages

    @TheSanskritChannel - Sincere thanks for the tremendously fantastic work you are doing. I just joined the paid membership.
    I came across your channel just few weeks back while searching for authentic sources to study the Yog sutras (and understand Vedas in general). My first blocker - No idea on where to start or what to study. And I had a basic requirement - I wanted the shlokas explained to the word root level. It was then I saw your gem - the Patanjali Yog Sutras. I finished the 4 sections - the ~3 hours detailed explanations of each, just as I wanted (and of course needs multiple passes). Motivated me more to learn Sanskrit (again, and properly - although I had formal 5 years of school education on that - all forgotten, because it was never done the way it should have been taught).
    I Just started with the Vak shuddhi course. This is more to help myself with the Hath Yoga Pradipika, I just bought. If possible please make a similar course on the same (Just like the Patanjali Yog Sutra).
    Wish you and your team all the best for this great work you are doing. I will try to share this channel as much as I can.
