You didn't mention the surprisingly extensive library also on deck 3. Books can be borrowed and returned while on board, which is a good thing because the wi-fi is awful!

Really?! There was an A deck below but that was mostly off limits to guests and the clinic was down there too

We've sailed on sister ship Nieuw Amsterdam twice, and have it booked for 2 weeks in Alaska next summer. Eurodam booked for the Caribbean in 2024.
I'm curious how you enjoyed the ship's entertainment, live music strength vs shortcomings in other areas. Did you mind being younger than the average passenger? I was 39 when we first sailed, and didn't mind either. I like the live music and cooking demonstrations. I like fun ship shows too, live musicals, but we're pretty easy going either way. As far as age, I find that anyone within 15 years just gravitate towards each other, and I get along well with crew. Plenty of young people onboard when you count them in.

We were definitely the minority age wise, but there were people of all ages on the ship. I have to say, I wish there was a little bit more to do for our age group, but the ship is pretty small. We knew this coming into it and expected what we got! They made use of every space as they could though. Lots of live music and there were a couple of shows, but not much. Lots of trivia, bingo, etc. We are pretty easy going and it was a very relaxing trip for us. The staff is phenomenal!

​@@SunsetsandSuitcases Holland is probably a better line for cooler areas like Alaska,, at least that's when I've enjoy the atmosphere and comforts of a premium cruise lines the most. I hear that outside Alaska, and on longer sailings, the age demographic increases. I would personally prefer the shows and activities on Royal, Norwegian, and MSC, but the trade off isn't worth it for us. After Eurodam, we're headed to Texas for the eclipse, and we'll hit 6 Flags while we're there. Occasionally we'll be able to stack the fun pre or post cruise.
