    Great video as always, Rich. I remember when I first started practicing REP, one habit I had was focusing on the furniture too much. You told me "are you trying to sell the furniture or the home?". That was an a-ha moment for me and videos like this really reinforce that thinking. 👌🏼

    • @RichBaum
      @RichBaum  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well that’s a perfect opportunity to work on everything I’ve talked about in the video, just spend some extra time really looking around the room and making sure everything is perfect as that attention to detail is super important

    • @rj934
      @rj934 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RichBaum Thanks for the reply. I’ve been working on all the things you mentioned in this video for the last couple of years. I’m learning. I try to let my creative eye be my primary driver on shoots instead of a shot formula. The shot formula helps keep my time on site realistic and also helps with my major time suck, overshooting, but the improvements in my photo quality is driving my clientele and pricing. The attention to detail has changed my business in that I shoot fewer, but generally higher quality, listings for a smaller very loyal group of clients.

    Hi Rich, thanks for being so willing to share such valuable information! In one of your videos you mention that you used an aperture setting of 7.1 with your cropped sensor cameras. Since you qualified the statement with ‘when using my cropped sensor’, what would you typically use for your A7iii? I have this camera and normally live around 7.1. Wondering what aperture you like with full frame. Thanks!

    Excellent as usual. In the lights on or off debate you seem to have favored light's on here. Did you shoot with lights off and then just add the lights in Photoshop?

    • @RichBaum
      @RichBaum  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No I usually just shoot with lights on but if I’m doing a very involved Design shoot I will shoot lights on lights off and then possibly mask in the light in Photoshop

    Say, Rich. If you have a minute: For exteriors, do you use Auto WB or do you use a set Kelvin temp or a camera preset (Direct Sunlight, Cloudy, Shade)? I have always used Auto and have never had a client comment on exterior colors. Today, a client told me she thinks my exterior color is off...but she's not sure. She will go back to the house and check it out. I want to know what you normally use for WB. Thanks!

    Hi Rich, I know you’re a sony guy. I’m a nikon shooter and recently upgrade to sony A6600. I shoot REP and I’m using R2pro N trigger on sony. (I didn’t bother to buy sony trigger bcos of white balance issue)
    My problem is Although the trigger is working, when I move to different angle to shoot the trigger gets loose. It’s not a perfect fit and I was having flash issue.
    Is there a way to still use my R2pro N on sony? I look online for an answer but still not clear. I hope you could help me
