Rich - Thank you for sharing your experiences, tips & tricks. I used to shoot VR real estate in the 90s w/QuicKTime VR top-side & underwater. You are truly a “class act”.
Great tutorial. I finally updated to LR CC and I am loving it. I was stuck on some old programs. I used to hate LR. I am looking forward to seeing more of your videos and learning to harness the full power of LR.
Thanks for putting this together, Rich! It's great to see different techniques. I have definitely been working too hard on my twilights, by blending them in Photoshop with multiple layers. I'm excited to try your single RAW exposure editing in Lightroom. Time to start speeding up my workflow :D
Rich, I found your channel months ago and wanted to let you know how helpful your videos are. Thank you so much! I do a lot of drone construction progression work for my main business but I'm looking to grow into real estate work as well. Your tips have been extremely valuable for real estate work! P.S. Great first name!
hi Rich, great video, as usual. do you recall if any of these exteriors were done with a pole? i know you used to brace your pole for twilights...i figure, if any of these are higher than a tripod! you must still be clamping a pole given how long some of these exposures are.
Luminar 4 has a new update where the sky replacement gets reflected in water on the ground. There's another way by inverting the sky then cloning it onto the water but L4 made this an instant fix now.
Thanks for the comment unfortunately I really haven’t been using Iluminar often as now I just use the built-in sky replacement feature in Photoshop, much faster and just about as good
Rich, great video! Some homes don't lend themselves to good twilight potential (street lights, sunset angles, etc). What have you encountered, and what ideas to overcome?
I have shot twilight's on multi million dollar listing and also tiny "Not do nice" homes, I just try my best to see good compositions and sometimes it's not east but I am always able to find something good in any listing.
Hey Rich! You mentioned in a few videos that you shoot tethered with an ipad. Do you use the imaging edge app? And if so how are you controlling things like focus and exposure? This would make a great tutorial for sony users as it seems there is scarce info on how to use the app
Jacob Rubio in a word, NEVER! I can get as much dynamic range out of a single well exposed RAW image and if I need specific areas to have a different exposure I can mask in a darker single exposure.
@@RichBaum Great advice! Would you recommend one RAW image vs HDR for interiors as well? Or do you pretty much stick to lights for interiors? Thanks! I love your videos
4:18 to get to something with substance. You need to cut some of the lead up. Toooooo long. I was close to closing the video multiple times during that 4 minutes.
Thanks Rich. You don't needlessly overcomplicate 😊
Hey Rich, just spent $350 on your affiliate link on Adorama. We really do appreciate YOU!

Honestly I can get a great result from a single well exposed RAW image..

dude.... your rock. This was a great tutorial! Thinking about upgrading to Lum 4. The sky replacement looks like it works great!!!
In general it works very well..
Thank you for sharing this. I have not been very interested in LR but I am now!
It’s a great program. We all use it.
Simple but really fruitful . thanks
Thanks for such a nice comment
So excited you are doing a tutorial on Luminar 4. I just purchased it and LOVE it. I'd like to learn more.

I don’t know if I can teach anything you don’t already know but I’ll try.
Great tutorial, Rich! When I have a little time I'm going to play with some images and see what I come up with.
Hi Jim! This stuff can be really fun while learning . Hope your doing well
excellent video! Thanks!
Thank you so much for your kid comment. Best of luck with your photography.
What lens mainly used ??
Sony 16-35 2.8
Where I can get this presets?
Just go to www.shootingspaces.net and do a search for presets
Nice 👌 Brush on Auto Mask? What is the image type you use for Luminar? 16 bit tiff in AdobeRGB?

It’s hard for me to remember but I’m pretty sure I use the pole all over the property
Thank you Thank you Thank you!
Your welcome
Im costantly learning & I appreciate it
Glad to hear it, I appreciate your reply.. keep watching as I have lots of videos coming up.

Do you ever use luminar 4?
I do but the new PS Sky Replacement seems to work better.
Heeey, nice tutorial thanks, what focal length do you use for your pictures ?
Usually 16-18mm
Rich, great video!

I personally use the Imaging Edge App as with Sony it's the best option in my opinion..
I have just spent 20 min trying to find Tracey Jungmann's sky replacement files with no success. Can you help me?
Just search the Facebook groups and I am sure you will find them.. I don't have the link, Sorry
When i can download sunset sky photo Tacey Jungmann
Sorry but I can't share her photo..

It’s a pity ... but what can you advise?
Do you ever use HDR for your twilight photos?

Anybody else have a minor panic attack when that iMessage came up? "Oh crap who's Dave Thornton!?"
Funny

Huh. That was an abrupt finish.
Sorry...
