#Anime #Manga #Podcast - ภาพยนตร์และแอนิเมชัน
Lets go, they got the VA of sayu from genshin
OMG, that's my favourite Cardfight Vanguard character (that I didn't even watch in english and didn't finish and didn't realize until after dropping the show and looking it up after Lily's last appearance on this podcast) No Way!
@@Hunted0LessShirt yo i forgot thanks for reminding me (I play CV)
Feet blur LMAO
Scarra with that retired dad drip
LOOOOOOOOOOOL
dude scarra is DRIPPED OUT !!
heard from otv podcast and now i’m catching up haha
lily is an amazing guest :>
i loved the silver spoon anime and now i’m going to read it, i can’t wait !!
keep making amazing content guys ❤️
This proves lilypichu needs to be a new member of this podcast

When she was doing The Filler Arc, i wouldn't miss one.
and get Xell on
bro they censored the free feets?!!!!
I feel like Scarra would enjoy Dungeon Odyssey, since it's quite different from most mainstream manhwas, and the art is amazing too
yeah dungeon odyssey's art style is unique
I agree!
if i get to rewatch an anime with no memory, definitely steins;gate hands down. i got so hooked at the end of episode 1 that i dont get ppl saying they couldnt get past the start.
Whenever Joey (The Anime Man) is in town ya'll have got to have him on. He is way more into manga than anime and knows his shit when it comes to manga.
wtf is this blur below the table lmao
no free feet
honestly love this set up
nice to see you guys checked out the pool from my recommendation haha, it is early admittedly, and being a monthly manga means it'll take some time too.
some completed and underrated stuff I think is amazing is Saltiness (Minoru Furuya), Freesia, and Yomawari Sensei. Also recently read Ikoku Nikki and thought it was excellent as well
Pro tips on reading Manga maybe? How to read 'efficiently' on a desktop / on a phone, reading source(s) (just maybe don't give specific url's if tos, not sure what the YT rules are there), manga tracking apps/websites reccomendations, how you usually discover manga or others to read, (+ more that I can't think of)?
Just that entire aspect coming from people who obviously read a lot I feel could be very interesting to go into detail with, also maybe it can help out begginers.
New viewer just caught up with the episodes today, big fan now, hope for the best in the future
Time for Toast next
Please continue making these vids i love hearing yall talk!
Also please upload more frequently pleaseeeee
Holy shit i was waiting for the episode this week. Hella ya
Honestly such a comfort podcast already, thank you scarra and peter
Shogun was one of my favorite novels. I had to read a page from a book in one of my high school classes and chose the page where the pilot is first caught and... let's say embarrassed by the daimyou. Or was it a random samurai? I can't remember the details, but it involved a certain bodily function and humiliation.
That's not even the worst thing I read out in a class. The worst thing was a certain Kurt Vonnegut short story about a sperm rocket. That still amuses me.
Granblue fantasy versus rising not getting mentioned when Scarra talked about modern Arc Sys games was brutal to our community
I just binged dr stone! I love it. I want to force my future kid to watch it. also just checked this morning to see if a new pod ep dropped.
The fucking mosaic killed me
Glad to hear Peter is liking steins;gate, past episode 13-14. My personal all time fav anime
I think after watching so many kdramas the tropes are just expected. I loved Queen of Tears and it definitely hit a frustrations level at like episode 14 and 15 with it but I loved the finale.
JimmyJTran, aka Mr.Naps, is also known as "your favorite top player's favorite top player" in certain FGC circles.
So true even when he was playing melty blood the tekken scene was losing it
if you ever wanted to launch a Patreon with bonus eps... I'd sign up day one. Really enjoying where this podcast is going
Damn it Scarra, I ended up reading The Revival of the Mount Hua Sect and now im in pain since it got so good as I caught up! (Also pick me up was so nice I actually started reading the novel)
lily good guest for any podcast
scarra finding a recommendation and reading 100 chapters of it in one sitting speaks to me on a spiritual level
I really loved Queen of Tears
Keep up the episodes love them too!
43:45 I got what you're looking for. It's just Gantz, man just keeps doing the same story but with different settings. Specially now with the samurai Gantz.
The Couple Breaker
1:01:58 I didn't realize that was Toast at first lmao, Lily called him Jeremy and he sounded different when I was listening so I thought this was someone else xd
i just finished see you on my 19th life webtoon and was disappointed about the netflix adaptation honestly, so what other adaptation from manga/manhwa to series (not movies) that disappoint you guys?
Finally somebody talks about steins gate omg
Banger podcast with Lily
where did lily get that sweater?? I must find it... it's so cute
Do an intro to manga tutorial! How do you read big panels on a small phone screen? What sites can you find manga libraries? Is cutting through filler easier vs binging anime?
oooo this one's interesting lemme think on this
@@scarra Cool! Also, do yall have thoughts on insane panels that got poorly animated? One punch man felt like a letdown after seeing the OG artwork IMO, but stuff from studio trigger can stand on its own in my view
I wanted to leave a comment on the last video, but I figured that the chance of scarra reading this comment was more likely. So, regarding the Lightnovels/Webnovels having bad translation a few years ago, it is true. But right now there are various translations groups that are actually pretty nice. For my understanding, Peter doesn’t read LN, so I would like to recommend to scarra to read . If you need more context just read my reply to this comment.
Business proposal was one of thos
49:45
That sounds like a cool Michael Reeves and LilyPichu colab.
Honestly would love to see their op on Legendary Moonlight Sculptor
Awesome podcast.
my timestamps..are hereee
Everyone looking dapper
I hope they talk about gachiakuta one day
Comics books is def not dying
i love this podcast
You guys should read Survival Story of a Sword King in a Fantasy World it is widely considered a top 10 Manhwa from everyone who has read it and it has stakes just like pick me up.
my favorite manhwa/webcomic that got put on hiatus is The Beginning After the End. When will it come back :(
proposal, add a solid color rather than a blur, if you need to blur that much of the screen. that much blur gave me a headache. I do understand the need to blur feet tho, maby a tablecloth ? or even some pieces of wood to block it.
Where would one go to read Manhwa?
just a technical note, the mic picks up every time you hit the table. otherwise, no notes!
Scarras cardigin goes crazy
Did ypu guys also read Buso Renkin? It has an anime and I'd say a fairly decent plotline.
Why are the glizzies blurred lmao
I felt shame at first when I noticed the blur in the video, but now I know I’m not alone in my confusion ❤😂
LMAO I'm currently reading Pick Me Up. Just started reading earlier.
Waiting for the Ludwig episode
Lily's hair looks so cute!
My wife eats and breaths K-Drama and hear and there I watch parts of it with her and if they are good I'll fully watch them, queen of tears is pretty good, but the best ones we have seen are the good bad mother and business proposal, she watched crash landing into you and wants me to watch it when I get a chance.
1:02:00 me playing solo leveling arise while listening to this podcast 😂🤣
Trash Taste collab when
i recommend to watch return to player
love scarras jacket
It's a shame that there is no official translation of the Shin Sekai Yori novel. I loved the story and the world depicted in the anime and wanted to read the original novel, but the fan translation stopped me at that time
I start watching a lot of kdramas, I don’t finish many
i would love to see lily play guilty gear against you guys
Watched all of steins gate in one go 😊
magical girl rising project mention let's goooo
1:02 based 😂
have you guys read wild strawberry ?? seems like a promising low chapter🤨
Ah dang the "episode number is also in the title of the episode" era is over
Solo Levelling is practically just dragonball Z but korean.
Shin Sekai Yori fan- Lily (and whoever Anita is) is too Based
brooo Queen of Tears was sooo good!!!!!
Its good that they are not just focusing on anime I already what happens if you just focus on one topic for 1 hour
How does lilypichu not know what y1ff means. Her community is way too wholesome
For Kdrama’s I really enjoyed is Pinocchio
I'd love a romance anime episode to hear Peter's faves hehe. And some takes on ones I've watched!! Horimiya, Komi-san, Aharen, My Dress-up Darling, Given, Fruit's Basket....>>.. Have you read any BL? Bahahahhaa
Ooo and other like more ecchi ones - Domestic Girlfriend, OH and your take on like Redo of Healer lmao
Im up to date on one piece on both anime/manga. But i'll still answer DBZ. Im not even caught up in DBZ. 😂
wait did i miss something? what was toast's haikyuu take?
check episode 2
someone teach Lily how to pose 😭😭
How have you guys not talked about Daemons of the Shadow Realm when you both are FMA fans 😭😭😭
Also would like to hear y'all's opinion on DanDaDan been reading it and I love it so much
I feel bad that they're reading many negative comments but for what it's worth the podcast keeps improving each ep imo
i think this was the last podcast. and there will be no more.
where do you guys read manhwa on iphone?
Webtoon is an app you could use to read manwhas
Lookin cool, Scarra
Recommend hometown cha cha cha for people loving k dramas
I second this
Yo that is one cute profile pic. Btw read this one shot manga I recently found out: Bibliomania
Anime Voice Actor, LilyPichu?
35:00 Talk into the mics please
Eureka seven was a good original series
Dragonball walked so One Piece could run.
OP inherited the baton from DB - it's kinda impossible for OP to surpass DB since everything OP achieves adds to DBs legend too. Also, DB has had a huge influence on the medium, while OP (as amazing as it is) is currently more of an anomaly (aka I don't see many new creators trying to emulate One Piece).
Guys PLEASE read Undead Unluck and Sakamoto Days PLEASEEEEEEEE
Have u guys read 1/2 prince? I read it first before i stumbled upon SAO. So when I watched SAO it felt shallow 😂
Dragonball vs One Piece debate is similar to NBA's Michael Jordan vs Lebron James. (Dragonball = MJ)
Both are the greatest of their Era. Both leaves huge marked in history. Older generations will pick MJ/DB and the newer generations will pick LJ/OP.
Our generation which is inbetween, will always know MJ and DB are both the GOAT and greatest impact on their category.
Lily the goat
Queen of Tears started out so good but the last few eps were rushed and all over the place unfortunately. the cast was the one who carried it
I personally try not pick up a series unless it has a certain number of chapters. Japanese manga: 26 or so. Korean manhwa: 100 chapters. Chinese manhua: 200 chapters.
The fact is that I have way too many that I'm already reading (though I've been on a semi-hiatus from reading for the last couple months) so I need to set some kind of standard for myself.
The problem I have is that I consume trash like it's cheap junk food. (Is junk food even cheap anymore?) Pretty much all the isekai is on my radar, except for some that have anime that are rated better than the manga. That Re:Zero manga was garbage, but maybe the anime or light novel series was better.
Chinese manhua in particular can be trashy af. Reincarnation revenge stories are my guilty pleasure. I don't actually feel guilty reading them, but even generic isekai stories feel classy compared to the reincarnation revenge stories.
Hell, I read a poorly translated called I Was Trash, and it indeed was trash. But I enjoyed it enough to read all the chapters that were available. Such is my low bar for enjoyment.
But for real, I've got hundreds of manga/manhwa/manhua read up to a certain point in my rotation. Sometimes I'll re-read something if I've (literally) lost the plot just to get back up to speed. I can't remember character names except maybe a few.
It's kind of like how I stopped watching anime almost entirely 10 years ago, but have still seen more anime than the anime man himself. I watched so much anime in the past that I can't remember most of it.
Pro-tip: if you know or learning a second language (Spanish for example), you can potentially read your content in that language when the English translation is shitty or non-existent. Sometimes it actually improves the experience of reading that content when you're not subjected to terrible English translations. I've also found that it's good practice to re-read a series that I've forgotten in a different language. Not only do I get back up to speed in the plot, but I also increase the rate at which I learn the language.
Lily's got pretty based takes lol
