I've been making fixtures/pallets like this (dovetail/self centering) for over a decade. Definitely not a new idea but not a bad idea to premake them and sell to others who don't want to waste their own machine time to make them.
That's a good idea man! You should make a video touching off on the side of your pallet to show how repeatable it really is. I was also wondering if you could used this jaws on the back side of your vise for larger, singular pallets.
Good idea I think I will make a video showing that. Also yes you can use the jaws on the back end of the vice as the step is above the vice. We will be offering larger 10"x12" pallets on our website very soon. They will fit directly in a single vice but can use the back side for double vices.
Oh nice! I bought one of your Haas lathe turret tool holders, great value! This pallet system is definitely something I want right away for my Kurt 6" vises. Would this work on a 4" TECO double vise? Might be tricky.
You forgot to mention you don’t need to remove your vice/tram in another clamping system when swapping workholdong methods. That’s one of the minor pain points in hoeing from a peorson pallet job to a vice job. Better to never remove the vice if possible
@@LoneWolfPrecisionLLC i run a mini pallet, not interested in the little guy holding my vice for heavy steel hogging. otherwize love the mini pallet sysytem. super quick!

That's an awesome pallet system. It looks super simple and flexible. Well done.
Dang this is actually kinda nice.

I made a video demonstrating the repeatability. I'll link it below.

The whole point of the peirson is you put the vise on a pallet

Your right and I always have a vice mounted on my tables so setup for this is really quick.
Very cool will look into it
Dang. I use 4inch dual stations. Doesn't look like they will work currently
We do have plans on making them for the 4" vise as well.
@@TeamJC777 excellent!
