Girl, K18 is where it's at. I didn't buy into the hype for a long time, then finally went for it just to see - it really does repair the hair on the inside. It brought my curl pattern back and everything. Highly recommend! Also you look beautiful!
I totally agree with this. I have had bleached white hair for like...7 years minimum at this point and while I've always gotten great results with olaplex no. 3, I get the same results with k18 and it's a leave in treatment!! And you don't need to use that much, even with thicker hair like mine! So worth the price, if you can afford it.
I’ve been bleaching my hair since 2017 and two years of doing it myself and even when I got it done professional I truly believe blonde is never perfect. There’s always a spot missed or a slight band somewhere but I think it’s perfect in my terms like wow came out so good.

A tip taught to me by my mum many moons ago who is a retired hairdresser, when bleaching your hair if you feel it start to burn your skin dab cold milk on it cos it helps neutralise the burn I have done this many times over the years and it works x

Hey girl, My experience with Wella toners.. they burnt my scalp after bleaching. I would recommend using the blondme toners. Mix color sand with ice for the perfect blonde!
Ahh finally!! Such a long time coming and it turned out beautiful, so happy for you! Coincidentally on the same day that I cut off the last bits of my previously blonde hair lol. I had white platinum hair for two years, dyed it my natural dark brown in early spring, and only now got fully back to virgin hair. Loving the basic look with no roots for now, but boring basic is definitely not your vibe 🤠
same about the volume. I have noticed that one time bleach with 30 volume damages my hair more than 2 sessions of back to back 20 volume. plus, even with a 30 i cannot get my hair light enough myself so i have to go in with another round of 20 anyway
I had to do this on myself about 6 months ago and WHEW, is it not only a challenge to fix that extensive of regrowth, but a full arm workout too! I still don't know how I came out with little to no breakage, banding or damage, considering I had zero bleach and color knowledge before I started researching how to fix my massive amount of regrowth. I went from getting my hair done by a stylist one time, to jumping into the deep end of doing my own hair. I managed to pull it off somehow, being just a human with a vision and the power of the internet! This video would have helped a LOT 😅 Nevertheless, your hair turned out amazingggg and I can't wait to see what you do next! ❤❤❤ maybe spooky season colors?! 👀🧡💜🖤

Great job Aislinn!!! You need to try Igora Cool Lift mixed with the bleach, it can make your hair pure white with just one round of bleach, without toning after, and even with 20 vol developer. Can't wait to see you in rainbow hair!

My stylist said my bangs were too short to highlight last time I was in so I decided to just go after a fine section on the underside. It turned out really cool!

5:00 this is EXACTLY the same as my set-up. I think we even have the same mirrors lol. 😂 It’s also why I do my hair in the middle of the night or when my husband’s on a work trip. Every mirror must be dedicated to the blonde-ing process. 😂
I usually bleach my roots in two part to minimize scalp irritation and overprocessing. It takes like 5 hours but it’s worth it. Also I saturate my mids and ends w oil to protect them.
Pro tip: Mixing small and regular fresh batches of bleach is key. The longer bleach is sat in the bowl the weaker it becomes. Also bleaching on clean hair is the best 🫶🏻
ugh I’ve just been dreading doing my roots always comes out fricken orange or bright bright yellow and I figure I’d rather have brown roots than that hot mess but they just keep on growing 😩

i use wella 12A instead of atoner bc the toner is damaging sometimes..also smells. lol i use the color tube instead of the gel bottle with 20 silver lights developer.

This is gonna be so helpful!!! I had regrowth that was a few inches long and it was such a disaster bleaching it lmao. I had a yellow band at least like 2 inches long. To make it worse, when I bleached the purple out that I put on top of it later, it turned mint green. I ended up putting navy/blue on top of it after so it didn't matter, but holy fuck lol

I’m so glad to only have to bleach the top 1/2 of my head since I dye the bottom half black (and my natural hair is black). The top half of my hair is a platinum silver and looks a lot like yours turned out so I have high hopes for myself :)
i'm always confused because ppl always say don't overlap, especially when doing roots, but it always looks like there's at least a little overlap. if i tried to do my own roots and there was a tiny bit of overlap where root meets what was previously processed, is it the end of the world? i dont trust myself to get it exactly precise!

You make me want to bleach my hair!! lol my hair is naturally really dark brown so I get intimidated whenever I think about bleaching it lol I use Guys bleach & his big 9 & it gets me super blonde but I also have super long hair so it is so hard to do by myself. I need a change soon & keep going back & forth on whether I want to bleach it or keep growing it to go back to my natural colour. For now I just keep making colour conditioner to keep the urge down lol currently blue & magenta with natural regrowth
When you say you wish you had used Olaplex and oil, what exactly did you mean? For example, do an Olaplex #3 treatment and rinse/dry, then saturate with oil? Or do you use Olaplex and leave it on, then saturate with oil?
I'm doing this same exact thing tonight 🤣🤣 I dyed my regrowth with black box dye and the bottom half of my hair is Lime Crime Seafoam green. I've been lifting the green out with vitamin c and dandruff shampoo for about 2 weeks so hopefully this works out. I'm doing it myself in my mirror so wish me luck that it will come out as beautiful as yours 🤣🤣😍😍
I've been waiting for this! haha just a side note I've learned from @Hair Buddha, covering your hair in oil doesn't do anything to prevent damage when bleaching. It actually just acts as a barrier on the hair that makes it more difficult for the bleach to penetrate, and it's easier to make it uneven! Just sharing, but you know you're queen
I always change up my sectioning pattern every time I do my regrowth, really helps with localised damage.

Her hair is not very dark to begin with. It is so much easier to get lighter hair in one go when it is already pretty light.
