Another great video, Andrew. Thanks for sharing and what a beautiful backdrop the Lake District provides. Also, good to see you both training. 👍🏻💪🏼🏃🏽♂️
So true!!! this would’ve been the perfect run to whip it out! Got a large wish list and a limited budget but keep an eye out because a few different cameras I’ll be investing in soon which hopefully improves the quality of my vids 🙌🏼
Was the long sleeve you ran in MonsRoyale? I use them to bike but have always worried about nipple chafe on the run. How do you find them? (Could have been Montaine in which case ignore e)
Hi Andrew nice running! As runner at this point I’m frustrated and feel like I have went backwards as far as pace and speed . Last year 2023 I was making crazy gains distance and pace wise I was at my fastest ram 1 44 13 miler training last January and was benching pressing and squaring heavy and it seemed like it was helping my running a lot. Fast forward summer 2024 and it feels like my fitness went downhill I even stopped lifting squats and bench press thinking it would help my running , I tried go less running more fast days it seem hurt my aerobic fitness. Back in 2023 I was running most my runs easy with 1 tempo day and it seem help my speed most. I did half marathon last month it ended up being my worst performance long time 1 55 and my easy pace got slower also. Do you think I need go back running 4-5 days week mostly east with 1 fast tempo and get back lifting heavy bench squats? It’s frustrating because I almost pr in my 13 miler last January. But it gets really hot and humid here myrtle beach summer also and even November now still been 80s should I go back only 1 speed and rest runs east? Feels like me stopping lifting didint help my speed at all. Sorry know this long post just wanna improve my half because I just don’t think I’m built for full unless I run full marathon in zone 2 slow
Art is craft what do u think i should do improve more as older runner about be 40? you think i need be doing most of my runs and long runs at slower 10 min mile paces? and just work on making race day pace feeling easier at low heart rate? i feel like the faster threshold stuff i have trouble hanging on to now. Like i feel like i could hold on to a 950-10 min pace for 26 miles no issues.......but a 830-9 min paces i would burn out after 20 miles. And burn out after 13 miles with low 8 min paces
Yeah I do drink, albeit in greater moderation than when I was at medical school 😂 but will try and integrate my thoughts on the topic as both a doctor/fitness enthusiast into a future diet video
Without a doubt, you have become my favorite fitness TH-camr. I’ve now started running more and stick to only compound lifts.
I appreciate that! Thanks for your support mate 👊🏼
Loved that you had Lilly in the vid too, keep it up!

Seriously considering moving there in the future so beautiful! Just need to convince lil 😉
BEAUTIFUL trail run!
You have insane physical resilience, climbing scarfell pike, doing a 11k trail run then benching 100kg in 3 consecutive days is crazy
Haha thanks man, if I’d tried this two years earlier I would’ve been broken 😂
It is a bit too extreme for health and fitness. Fine for an athlete.
really enjoy this style of video
Not gonna lie, I have been binging your videos lately 😅 Keep them going!
Glad you like them! Hopefully I can keep making enjoyable content 👍🏼
Great video as always 🤙🏼
You need to get of those small drones that follow you and film you as you run!
Great shout. I recently got one and it produces some really good footage. 👍🏻💪🏼🏃🏽♂️

@ Xmas is coming soon! In the USA, you could write them off in your taxes but not sure about there?
Dear doctor, can lifting weights cause an aortic aneurysm because of the increased pressures in the chest?

Boss form
Hi mate, can you tell me what camera you're using ?
Sony a7c for all my indoor stuff with a tampon lens then just a GoPro for my outdoor bits 👍🏼

Age plays a factor as do other things.

Do you train shoulders?
Absolutely! Overheap press and lateral raises are my mainstay 👍🏼
Do you two drink alcohol, would be interested to see a video discussing that subject and your nutrition approach.

Such a nice video :) I would love to follow your girlfriend’s progress! Maybe something on how you plan it :)
You read my mind! My next video might interest you… 😉
