Britannia hauling a railtour for 'Steam Dreams' from Windsor & Eton Riverside to Ipswich & Norwich and return.
The formation was formed of Standard and first class MK1 carriages with a single first class (converted to a Pullman) MK2 at the rear, which was for 'Pullman dining class' passengers.
Trailing on the rear was ex-Stratford depot Class 47 47805 (D1935) 'Roger Hoskin MA 1925-2013'.
It was nice to see 2 examples of Great Eastern locomotives back on their old lines. Stratford depot was also home to Standard Class 7 locomotives just like, or even Britannia itself.
Thanks to John Thompson for the footage of the tour at Chelmsford & from on board a Greater Anglia service train, arriving into Stratford. Here's a link to his channel - / @309jt
Unfortunately, due to plastic sheeting blocking the line earlier near Harold Wood the tour ran extremely late.
The tour then lost more time on the return working, whilst signallers worked the train into the peak time evening timetable.
    Head codes -
    1Z70 running to Norwich
1Z71 running to Windsor & Eton Riverside
End shot is of a Network Rail Overhead Line Equipment test train, also using MK1 & 2 carriages hauled by top and tail Class 37 locomotives from Colas Rail. This ran on the same day as the railtour. Class 37's - Newly named 37057 'Barbara Arbon' (Auntie Barbara), and unnamed 37175 on the rear.
