How come I only just found this page. Brilliant work, grey concrete
Glad you liked it!!
When your family is as big as a small community, you save time, money and you keep the bond true. Good job.
Fantastic video. Thanks for including the little details and bits of knowledge that might seem obvious to you guys, but us inexperienced folks know nothing about.
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@GlobMarble good job
Thanks for explaining the process. My neighbour had theirs done and watched the traders doing it the same way you explained it. Great video.
Glad it helped!
I absolutely love it!! You’ve helped me make my decision. I’m gonna have my concrete done just like!! we just built a new house a year ago, but we need the patio and sidewalks done around the house. Our house is a farmhouse style with Black tin roof white siding and rock so I think it’ll work real well. Thank you for the video!
I think it will look great!
Love this look. I know it’s probably not complicated and looks easy, but I’m sure it’s not. This video simplified it for me. Going to let my crew watch it too. Thanks guys.
Its not hard to do at all! The stamps are reusable so you get a brand new finish to offer every customer!
You do a very nice job explaining the process.
Thank you!
Thank you for direction on knowing when it is ready to stamp.
Glad you liked it!
very informative and clear presentation. good background music. nice video!
Glad you liked it!
From Algeria how are you Thank you for this video I enjoyed watching it and your work was very perfect and wonderful Thank you again
Thank you for the support!!
Love it!!! Great job showing the process!! I just ordered these stamps from Amazon and will be trying them out next week.
Good luck!!
Appreciate the walkthough and detailed explainations. Great Video!
Glad you liked it!!
Nice job on the wood stamped concrete!
Glad you like it!
Crazy that anyone would think to wheelbarrow that whole situation instead of a line pump xD
I didn’t think that gray wood would look good, but it’s actually pretty nice
Thanks!! You can check out our video on brown wood stamps here- th-cam.com/video/0u0f5BWmz3o/w-d-xo.html
Please add more details to your videos in future like the amount of sealer, its cost, common brands, the quick release powder used to give accents, the cement sand ratio etc.
The best brand to buy from is globmarble :) The sealer is called HS200 and has a coverage of 200-240 square feet per gallon globmarble.com/stamped-concrete-acrylic-sealer-hs-200.html And the release agent is tru-tique Charcoal globmarble.com/stamped-concrete-colored-powder-release-pail.html
What happens if you don't reseal it after 1 year? I love your videos! I'm an artist and I'm going to try to paint a picture on my backyard concrete.
Then the sealer fades, and so will everything under it
Great explanation of the steps! The one thing I'd want you to elaborate on is the powder release agent. This was new to me, but it looks like it helps to refine the stamp details. Since its pigmented, do you need or want to acid stain over it?
The powder release comes in many pigments and adds an accent to the stamped concrete. We did not acid stain, so the final product is exactly what you get from the powder. You could acid stain if you want but it is not necessary
Great work and content! Wood love to make a firepit with those stamps. Lol
Go for it! If it turns out cool, can you send us pictures of your finished work?
Thank you for demonstrating the process. The wood texture turned out great. I would probably choose to stain it to create a more natural wood tone finish but that’s just my personal taste.
That look would definitely look great, the gray wood is very popular right now though
Thank you for the powder cement you poured 👍👍👍
Glad you liked it!!
Thanks for the training session, I want to woodstamp a walkway, think this is the trick. Thanks so much...
Glad it was helpful!
Thought the stamping like a wood pattern was cool.
Glad you liked it!!
Can you do this to a driveway as an overlay? I don’t want to tear up my existing cement driveway. Can I essentially add another layer to stamp the pattern into and will that be strong enough to drive on?
This overlay is specifically designed for what you are asking about- globmarble.com/surestamp-stamp-concrete-overlay.html you can watch my video on it here- th-cam.com/video/0u0f5BWmz3o/w-d-xo.html
@@GlobMarble Thank you!
Great job, the guys made it look easy.
I appreciate it!
Thank you it is very instructive. Can we use this type of flooring for inside a house
Yes it is possible, but you need to find a way to wash all the stamp release off
Wish we had it in South Africa good job
Thanks!! We ship the stamps world wide, so you can absolutely do this in South Africa!
Great job. This is absolutely amazing.
Thanks!!
Can I borrow those stamps from you? I'm gonna be needing them.
Glad you liked it!! Unfortunately we stopped renting used stamps, we only sell new ones now.
😂 no shit!!
Great work
@@GlobMarbleat how much for the wooden ones
bravo so good video ... greetings from athens ...greece
Glad you enjoyed it!
Why didn’t you use chippings stone for the concrete work?
Great video. Can't wait
To try this on my front porch.
Good luck!
Liquid release and mix your powder. 1 cup or so per gallon,,
Really cool stamps!
Glad you liked it!!
Where is a good place to get stamps reasonably priced for DIY. Looks like having more than a couple stamps is better
The bigger the project the more stamps you need. Links to all the tools and materials used in the video are in the video's description.
I absolutely love the wood stamped concrete. My question is, is it possible to stamp over a thin layer of concrete? I have a long patio and i have a huge wide deep crack that runs the entire length of my patio ( about 60 ft), I plan to fill in the crack and then pour a one inch layer of cement. Can I stamp that thin layer?
You can definitely do an overlay but not with regular concrete as the two coatings will never fully stick together. You can use surestamp instead, here is a detailed video on it- th-cam.com/video/0u0f5BWmz3o/w-d-xo.html
@@GlobMarble thank you again, your expertise is invaluable to me.
Am in south Africa can I please get all the tools used
All the tools and materials are linked in the description of the video. We ship world wide :)
Awesome workers!!
The best!
Great video, if your deck is only 14’ X 12’ can I get-by with only using one stamp?
Technically you can but it will look really bad. Every stamp was made from a different piece of wood to avoid repetition on the imprints. That and the molds are easier to use when they lock against each other
What color did they use for the main concrete color?
There was no color in the concrete, the color comes from the powder release. The powder release they used was the color charcoal
Looks great!
Thanks!!
Nice job, lot of work, really messy...looks amazing
Looks awesome. Have you ever used stain? If so what brand, when can i apply it and also where can i get the stamps lol?
Thanks! I usually use stain in all of my videos, check this one out- th-cam.com/video/0u0f5BWmz3o/w-d-xo.html . My favorite is EcoStain, you apply a couple of hours before sealing. The tools and materials are all linked in the description of the video :)
Can you make a video to show the exact process of stamping a wall? If you have one please let me know..
th-cam.com/video/-0Soi8eSdXw/w-d-xo.html
We are having a new slab poured for our 3000 sq. ft. house. Can we just imprint the whole slab at the time of the initial pour? Can this amount of sq. ft. be done and still have a good imprint?
Of course! A slab this size would probably require at least 1 10 piece set of stamps
How do you determine where to put the “controlled cracks?”
8-12 feet apart for a 4” thick pour
Looks Great, However SHOW where water goes? Drain put in but you should show angle of drain!
My house next!!!
Looks good! Considering for the house we're currently building
You should go for it!
Excellent video!
Glad you liked it!
Do you have any pictures of a week or so later after the cure n seal has dried and the concrete had cured
Concrete comes close to its full cure at 30 days or so but the cure&seal looks identical to any other sealer you can use
Very well done man!
Thanks a lot!
Is there a ideal temperature to pour concrete if its too hot out will the concrete crack if it cures too fast
The concrete will cure quicker in hot weather but it wont crack. You should definitely start stamping on areas exposed to direct sunlight first, as you might run out of work time if you start in shaded areas
Thank you. I LIKE THAT WOOD STAMP
Glad you like it!
I love this idea!

Absolutely gorgeous work! Way to go!

Beautiful job. I have a patio I would like to do this on
You should go for it!
Thanks for the video I definitely thinking about doing an area in my yard around the pool area with the concrete stamp
We have lots of videos on stamped concrete, you should check them out!
I will try your technics
Thank uou so much

Good work, good video
Thanks!!
it looks like this cannot be used indoors, correct?
This absolutely can be used indoors!!
@@GlobMarble thanks!
Thanks learned lots more videos please
More to come! We just came out with a new stamped concrete video this Sunday!
What’s the color you used for concrete and stamps? I am looking for exactly same color
The concrete was not pigmented, and the powder release was the color "charcoal"
Appreciate your efforts for the video. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Great work!
Thanks!
Thx! Looking forward to trying similar!
Good luck!
Can this be done on the inside of the house

Really nice. Are you printing on ordinary concrete or it is a special mixture? In that case it is significantly more expensive, right?

Fantastic job here!!

What is the best way to stain the stamped concrete? Is it with the powder agent or an acid base?
Acid is very limited and its easy to mess up. We recommend either powder release or water based stain like EcoStain.
@@GlobMarble do you offer a powder product I can buy from you. We would like a lighter color stain for our whole slab of our house. The Acid base color we like is called Golden Wheat.
@@charliedurham5905 Yup, links to all of our materials are in the description of the video
