    Beautiful. However, how do you do very large patios. Do you have to do them in sections? Since you can’t walk on it during the process. Even the stain process in sections?

    • @GlobMarble
      @GlobMarble  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You wouldn't have to do them in sections if you have enough stamps to make your way all the way to the end of the patio, allowing you to walk in a zig zag line all the way to the back of the patio. Doing it in sections is very hard to pull off as you can almost always tell where one section began and ended. Here is a video that explains this a little better- th-cam.com/video/FrPa1d2xTq8/w-d-xo.html

    • @GlobMarble
      @GlobMarble  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      This stamped overlay mix is designed exactly for that! You would need to etch the concrete, wash it with some SCR, apply a layer of SureBond, and lay on the SureStamp mix. You can email sales@globmarble.com for a lot more info :)

    I love this video! Thank you. One question, I’m thinking about doing this to my front porch. There is existing concrete there. Do I need to add something to prevent it from being slippery during inclement weather? Thank you again.

    • @GlobMarble
      @GlobMarble  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can add a grip additive to our sealer which will make it way less slippery, but keep in mind that it will make the sealer loose a lot of shine and make it more matte- globmarble.com/suregrip-non-slip-sealer-additive-hd.html

    • @barryryle6420
      @barryryle6420 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    So for my patio I have already concrete slabs. Wood spacers devide the slabs. Can I had a layer of new concrete to get this wood slab design?

    • @GlobMarble
      @GlobMarble  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Only if you use a stamping overlay like the one in the video, regular concrete will not do. First you would have to prep the concrete by grinding it down or blasting to remove the dirt and oil which has soaked into your concrete over time, and then add a layer of SureBond which acts like a glue between the two coats of concrete. Do not let the surebond dry, apply the surestamp as soon as you can. Here are the links to both products :)

    • @GlobMarble
      @GlobMarble  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I need a lot more context to answer this question, like are you pouring a slab and stamping directly on top of it, are you going to use the overlay on top of the slab once it dries, etc. You can shoot us an email at sales@globmarble.com with more details :)

    • @GlobMarble

      Hey! Once the surestamp has dried to the point where you can touch it with your finger, you will have aprox 2-3 hours to stamp. The patio would be done in the exact same way, just a larger scale. One bag covers aprox 15-18 ft² at 3/8” thick and 20-24 ft² ¼” thick

    • @GlobMarble
      @GlobMarble  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The first thing you want to do is use a sealer stripper. Its important to choose the right one because most strippers will destroy any grass or plants around your patio like FastStrip, but Eco-friendly sealers are a bit weaker. I suggest you email Sales@globmarble.com to find the right product for you. Next would be to spray a new stain on top of your stripped concrete, and re-seal the whole thing. you can find all these materials on our site :)

    What size are those stamps? Is it $74 per the different sizes?

      The stamps are 9 inches wide and range from 24-72 inches long. Clicking on the length option on our website will tell you the price of each stamp length. We recommend buying stamps in the sets though, we have 5,6,9- and 10-piece sets. The larger the project, the more stamps we recommend using

    The stamp patters on these doesn't look very natural in some places, but good job on the finishing.

    Actually this one is not bad at all you just buy yourself some CDX plywood which is usually relatively cheap wood I mean and then you do the stamp on it and have piles of wood in certain colors and people can come in and decide how much they need or give you a you know measurements on how much to make in a certain color then all you have to do is make the cement board looking siding and they can come pick it up and they can cut it themselves and they can hang it themselves it's not like you would have to go do the construction work you could stay at home making the wood looking boards
