  • With just 8 miles separating Europe and Africa have you ever wondered why there isn't a bridge between them. The Strait of Gibraltar one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world could be the home to one of the world's largest megaprojects.
    Follow us as we dive deep into the mysteries that surround this strait, and why Europeans wouldn't want the bridge in the first place.
    We seek to deliver untold stories of our past & future. We are by no means fortune tellers nor geniuses so take everything with a big pinch of salt, we do make mistakes.

    Hey Everyone, Thanks for checking out our video! For returning viewers, our usual narrator Andy has left on a 2-month band tour to the US. We wish him all the best and hope for him to be back soon! In the meantime, Mark will be replacing him as the narrator. Let us know your thoughts!

      Sorry no, this has be hashed out time and again. Now an American butt's in, and you don't want Americans designing any infrastructure project. They are crap at it.

    Hey great video! Do you have any advice on how your started this channel? I've been wanting to make a channel like this covering topics in the United States, video essays with graphics (maps, diagrams, videos, etc..).

      Thank you, This is the best compliment someone could give! Go for it! The best advice I could give you is to be passionate and enjoy yourself whilst working. We are by no means a big channel and at the end of the day we don't really know what we are doing either!

    One consequence of such project is that Cadiz could become the Malmo of the South.

    Now, that's a high quality video. I thought I was seeing a video from a big studio, such as Half as Interesting. I was positively surprised to see a small creator. Keep it going.

    Africa's total exports are only 450bn... that is crazy low. Compare that to China, a single country, whose exports are nearly $4tn - china's export value is 8 times that of the entirety of Africa's. Really goes to show how rich China is getting, yet how little Africa is progressing.

    • @Jennyeq
      @Jennyeq 27 วันที่ผ่านมา

      And most of that $450bn were raw materials extracted by chinese firms. Until africans and arabs learn how to do a hard days work - instead of stealing or scamming from others - as a society they will never progress.

      Thanks for sharing your thoughts! It's really interesting to compare these figures. Indeed, China's exports are significantly higher than Africa's, but it's also worth considering the different economic contexts. Africa is incredibly diverse, with many countries at various stages of development and facing unique challenges.

      @@WhitePeakStudios maybe we will see a change in this figure with Africa's steps out of colonialism - such as Niger removing French influence. Maybe you could show us some of the predictions regarding Africa's development in the future? :)

    Blending two different culture's ? The distance between Morocco and Spain culturally speaking, is vast compared to Denmark and Sweden. - Freedom of movement of goods and people between EU countries is already covered by Maastricht Treaty.

    • @WhitePeakStudios
      @WhitePeakStudios  20 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thanks for checking out our video! Yeah, the mixing of 2 cultures promotes innovation, as different backgrounds and experience leads people to look at the same challenge from different angles and perspectives often offering unique solutions. With the completion of the oresunds bridge between denmark and sweden we saw clear evidence of said innovation despite their cultures being quite similar so you can only imagine what could be achieved between Morocco and Spain.
