LED Conversion of a Regular Halogen Flashlight

In this instructional video I show how to convert a regular halogen bulb flashlight into a LED flashlight. I am using a 12V auto LED light bulb which costs less than a dollar (I think I bought 24 of them for under $10. I will be powering the LED bulb with a regular 9V battery which is capable of running the LED. With this conversion the flashlight will be brighter, weigh less and also will last longer. I can use the space where the 6V battery used to be to carry spare batteries, matches, fishing hooks/line, knife with multi tool, etc. Not only I have a better flashlight but it also doubles as a survival tool.
