Found a 2 D Magite in the garbage, thought it could be saved, bought the necessary parts, watched 2 videos but!!! for the life of me could not remove the switch no matter how many times I turned my 5/64 ths Allen wrench!. Now to find a t8 torx and maybe use all the replacement parts I purchased. Keeping my fingers crossed. Would not have figured there were 2 types of set screws had I not watched your video. Many thanks for the tip.
Thank you for this video, I almost lost my mind trying to find out how to remove that LED lamp. Now I will just break it and attach another led somehow.
No, sorry, no video on the grinding. But it's no big deal really -- you'll need a bench grinder, or if you don't have that you can put a grinding wheel in an electric drill and pop that into a vise. Just start grinding evenly all over the surface of the shaft, until it's narrow enough to fit in the hole. Good luck!
